• Yael (8/5): - The place was super clean, and had a lot of space, the kitchen was perfect and well equipped. we asked for a table to work on and the host made sure we have it. There was also milk and water in the fridge which was very nice. I booked this apartment a month before my trip, and a few days before my arrival they informed me that it won't be avaliable due to maintanace, which can happen. But- the alternatives were not as good as this apartment, and I had to repetedly ask for a refund for the differenece in price between what I booked and payed for, and what I actually got- you would expect to be offered compensation in this senerio, not the other way around. The hot water ran out very fast and it took them 2 hours to reheat again. The matress was to soft for us.

• Andrew (8/5): Super place to stay in Cambridge - Stunning rooms and layout. Very well equipped. There weren’t any windows that opened, so we needed to keep the door opened most of the time when in the flat. The bathroom door got jammed while in it—it is a sliding door—but with the help of someone on the outside was openable. But others a great place.

• Judith (6/5): A mixed bag but certainly on the expensive side - The person who greeted us was delightful. The location is good, next to the Grafton Centre. Tucked away from any road noise and the kitchen was well equipped. Good sized bathroom and additional toilet upstairs. Bed was very comfortable with good duvet and pillows. There is only one small opening window in the apartment and NO fans were provided. This made it unbearably hot for the heat we've been having recently. You certainly get noise from the apartment upstairs as people walk around but more annoying was the sound made when you used any water in the main downstairs bathroom. I'm not sure if it was a pump but it was enough to wake anyone in the middle of the night. The apartment is also showing signs of wear. Considered it expensive for the reasons above.
• Yvonne (10/5): Exceptional - We had a wonderful stay. From a very warm welcome on arrival by George we went on to have the most wonderful stay. The apartment is in a lovely courtyard setting and the company has gone above and beyond when it comes to facilities. There is everything there you could need, from clothes hangers to kitchen paper. Chilled bottled water waited for us in the fridge as well. On departure day we also met the lovely housekeeping team... no wonder the property was sparkling clean. Happy to recommend and will return one day.

The manager could not fix it and offered us the use of a shower in another apartment. We both showered in the other apartment and the next day the plumber fixed it. Also, there were only two clocks in the room and neither worked.

Provision of tea/coffee/milk welcome too Plumbing was cheap and unreliable where downstairs loo cistern constantly ran, shower head needed descaling and shower tap loose and needed lots of manipulation to work shower.

If I had to pick faults I’d say that bathroom faucet as soon as it was turned on it force of it hit the sink then splashed all over you. Only one small side window opening in the kitchen area when it’s really warm outside, sad to see you skimping on the breakfast pack as we always enjoyed that and took it into consideration when booking accommodation in Cambridge.

Slightly inconvenient that you have to call the management company 1 hour in advance ilof arriving so that they can send an agent with keys; I would have preferred an access code sent electronically. But overall a great place to stay in Cambridge.

• Richard (8/5): Good, quiet, location in central Cambridge. - This property is close to the Grafton Centre in Cambridge - just a short walk from the City Centre. Parking is not available, but use the East Car Park in the Grafton Centre and you are only a short walk away from the property. It's free from 6 pm to 8 am. This place was very quiet when we stayed here. Being a Citystay property it has everything you might need including a 'welcome pack' of milk, bread, etc. We had problems using the dishwasher but the maintenance man appeared within minutes of our seeking help. My wife found the bed rather uncomfortable. Instructions for the microwave oven were not available through the QR code provided, but we did find hard copy in the drawer underneath the oven. A note to that effect in the property would have been helpful.

• Frank (9/5): Clean, modern and functional apartment that served our 4 night stay very well. - Key was waiting for us in a lock box so we were able to access immediately upon our arrival which was very late at night. We very much enjoyed the apartment. The washer/dryer, the refrigerator, kitchen facilities and the welcome pack, (including cereal, milk, juice, tea bags) were very helpful and appreciated. The communication of the procedure for getting the key was a bit confusing. The message that was sent by Cityscape instructed us to contact a number one hour before our expected arrival, however a different message had been sent to my account on Signal by the property manager with the lock box instructions. Unfortunately, I was not expecting to receive the message on Signal, so did not monitor the account. I did follow the original instruction of calling the phone number provided but no one answered that number, so I called the emergency number. Everything worked out in the end, but it was a bit confusing at the time.

Is about 20min walk from where the buses stop and about 15-20 mins walk from Cambridge inner city. We didn't have a car but there appears to be ample parking for those who do. A little on the pricey side but was happy with what we got. All good!

• Lindsay (9/5): Great place to stay in Cambridge if you don't mind walking a bit. - Great place to stay for a few days. There is a decent kitchen with milk, juice, condiments, cereal, bread and some snacks already provided. A small dining area and a living room. Bedrooms are on a different level and are large and have loads of storage. The bed was very comfortable. There is also a washing machine/dryer. Good bathroom with bath as well as a shower. Nice little outside area to sit too. The bathroom sump was annoying when water was running and when you flushed the toilet. If you want to be right in the middle of Cambridge, this might be a bit too far out. About a 30 minute walk to the centre, but a pleasant walk.
• Mike (8/5): Enjoyed Cambridge good location to see the city - Location and good range of cooking equipment. The kettle did not work however it was replaced straight away 😁. The fan did not work so the basement bedroom was hot. The oven was not easy to use. Not sure if was working correctly, someone was promised to look at it but not sure if they did as no feedback was received. We got 70pound fine for 6 mins parking whilst dropping stuff off😟
• Linda (9/5): Overall it was a good place to stay for a few days - The apartment was very spacious, clean, modern, with a small kitchen stocked with some light breakfast foods, although we didn't use most of those. The washer/dryer was a plus, The location was good, about a 20-25 minute walk to the town center, plus some shops and restaurants nearby. The rainfall shower was difficult to use. The chrome handles were short cylinders with no grips on them, so when our hands were wet the controls were difficult to turn, plus they were rather stiff. I find these kinds of showers impractical due to how the water falls and the need to transfer back and forth from the shower head to the hand-held tool, which in this case was very difficult to get the control to turn to. But this was a small annoyance in an otherwise nice place. Some may find the stairs to the bedroom a bit of a steep climb, although we didn't.

There wasn't any parking onsite, but could park on road overnight for free and would then need to move car in mornings.

Clear communication from the host at all times. We stayed here as we had been let down by another host in Cambridge, and Booking.com was excellent in finding, securing, and paying the difference in price for the rental. A brilliant experience from them. It's definitely an example of excellent customer service. At this property, there was drop-off parking only, and we booked elsewhere to park the car. The apartment is not far from the train station, however. A beautiful apartment for 2, and scrupulously clean. Really good location for all Cambridge city highlights and a lovely walk to the Orchard tea rooms at Grantchester. A peaceful location too. A lovely stay. N/a as a good place but pricey. You get what you pay for though 💯

The hosts had options for coffee and breakfast for free as well, which was a bonus. The temperature in the flat was a bit high, the weather was lovely when i stayed and there is only one small window that you can open. So I ended up having my main door open to cool down the flat which is not ideal.
