• Fabian (10/5): 5 tolle Tage bei Erich in seiner coolen, familiären Pension mit Natur, Motorsport, kochen, tollem Frühstück und sehr net - Die Lage war für uns als Paar mit Hund zum erholen perfekt. Direkt in der Natur der Eifel, 6 Minuten zur Gran Prix-Strecke mit dem Auto und 12 Minuten nach Adenau (Einkaufen) sowie 8 Minuten zur Zufahrt Nordschleife. Die Gemeinschaftsküche bietet alles was zum kochen benötigt wird. Die angrenzende Lounge mit Riesen-TV und Couch ist super entspannend. Highlight: Fahrsimulator, den Erich gerne zur Verfügung stellt. ERICH ist der Pensions-Vater und so ein cooler Typ, ist viel herumgekommen, hat viel erlebt und erzählt gerne seine Geschichten, was direkt für eine freundschaftliche Atmosphäre sorgt. BTW macht er das beste Frühstück mit Rührei und pochierten Eiern :) Die Zimmer sind picobello sauber, es gibt 4 Stück, 1 im EG und 3 im 1. OG. An die Küche grenzt ein wind-und wettergeschützter Außenbereich mit Gartenzugang und allem, was in eine Outdoorküche gehört -> Grill, Friteuse, Spüle, Tisch, Couch, Heizstrahler. Man darf alles benutzen. Perfekt!

• Lothar (10/5): Ruhe und Gemütlichkeit, hier findet man das. - Ich habe diese Pension zum zweiten Mal als Unterkunft gebucht, weil es mir schon beim ersten Mal so gefallen hat. Mit Erich, dem "Herbergsvater" habe ich mich sofort verstanden. Er ist ein richtiger Kumpeltyp, äußerst zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Die technische Ausstattung der Zimmer ist sehr gut und gemütlich, sauber. Es fehlt nichts. Das Frühstück vermittelt einen sofort den Eindruck, dass man irgendwie zu Hause ist, auf jeden Fall bei Freunden. Es wirkt alles so vertraut. Auch das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist mehr als fair. Und ... es gibt keinen Zivilisationslärm. Mir fällt nichts Negatives ein.
• Lothar (9/5): Ohne Pomp und Glitter, aber dennoch sehr gut und authentisch. - Es war durch Erich ein sehr freundlicher und unkomplizierter Empfang. Das Zimmer mit eigenem separaten Badezimmer war sehr geräumig. Es hat an Nichts gefehlt. Auch das Frühstück war mehr als reichlich und alles frisch. Einfach sehr gut. Die Pension liegt in einer landschaftlich zweifellos reizvollen Gegend. Ich war hier zu einer Zeit außerhalb der Saison Gast und das Wetter zeigte sich nicht gerade von seiner besten Seite. Es war nass und grau. Dafür können natürlich die Betreiber der Pension nichts. Als ich in der näheren Umgebung nach einem ansprechenden Restaurant gesucht habe, um nach einem langen anstrengenden Tag noch etwas gutes zu essen, war das Resultat ernüchternd. Etliche Gasthäuser waren entweder ganz oder vorübergehend geschlossen und die geöffneten Einrichtungen kamen über das Niveau einfacher Imbissläden mit überschaubarem Angebot nicht hinaus. Das war schade.

• Hugo (10/5): Top gastheer met perfecte locatie! - Heel fijn verblijf. De kamers zijn zeer schoon en luxe. Erich de gastheer is ontzettend vriendelijk en gastvrij. Ik kom er zeker terug!
• Patrik (10/5): - Oerhört hjälpsam och generös, både på kunskap om ringen, och på husets faciliteter, såsom kaffemaskin och användande av simulator. Parkering alldeles utanför dörren till boendet. Fiixade en god frukost på badtällning, mot en liten kostnad. Kommer definitivt boka här igen, om eller när jag ska ner igen 😊

Schon die Begrüßung war außergewöhnlich herzlich und nett. Super nette und herzliche Gastgeber, mega Frühstück. Man wird direkt auf Sonderwünsche angesprochen, tolles Zimmer, tolle Aussicht, tolle Lounge und Garten. Super, daß es nur 4 Zimmer gibt. Erich bot uns auch einen Shuttle Service zum Nürburgring an. Wir waren einfach von allem überwältigt, habe noch nie so eine Gastfreundschaft erlebt. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Einfach nur zu empfehlen. Hatten absolut nichts auszusetzen. Es war alles perfekt und mehr.

• Robert (10/5): Eine rundum gelungene Ring-Unterkunft mit einem Gastgeberpaar, das man heutzutage kaum noch findet - Ich kann alle positiven Bewertungen zu 100% bestätigen. Jana und Erich als Gastgeber haben mir einen Aufenthalt geboten, der tatsächlich wie zuhause war: persönlicher Empfang, sehr ruhiges Wohnen, Alles ist da was man braucht und hat Qualität, liebevoll gestaltete Zimmer, 2 Fl. Wasser, WLAN funktioniert tadellos, ein geschützter Grillbereich, ein gefüllter Kühlschrank, ein Chillraum mit Hausbar wie sie wohl so umfangreich kaum Jemand zuhause hat, Fahrsimulator, Monsterfernseher, ein zeitlich absolut flexibles Frühstück und Erich geht auf individuelle Essens-Wünsche ein, Shuttleservice zum Ring in 10 min. egal wieviel Chaos rundum herrscht und nicht zuletzt auch die angenehmen Gespräche mit Erich. Das Alles ist mehr als man woanders geboten bekommt. Jana und Erich verstehen eben bestens, was Service und Umgang mit Menschen bedeutet - und das sollte man nicht bis über das Anstands-Limit ausnutzen. Nochmals vielen Dank an Jana und Erich für das "Zuhause-Gefühl". Nichts, denn angenehmer geht nicht.

• Raul (10/5): The best place to stay for petrolheads - We spent a wonderful week at Pension Schwedenkreuz with the wonderful owner Erich. Main reason of our trip was to celebrate my birthday at Nordschleife. I can tell from my heart - it was my best birthday in my life. It was not just a stay - it was a real peaceful for mind holiday, filled with care, comfort and sincere hospitality. Erich is a Man with a huge heart. He creates a special atmosphere, thanks to which you feel not like in a hotel, but like visiting a good friend. He gave me lots of useful advices and valuable info about the track and history of the area around, which I’ve never knew even though I have travelled to Nurburgring every year since 2016. The hotel is located in a wonderful, green corner - just ten minutes' drive from the Nurburgring track. It is quiet, calm and very beautiful. The hotel and the room are very very clean, with new furniture and fresh breakfasts, which are served with warmth and attention. I DO HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. IT IS WONDERFUL! If you are looking for a place where you will not just relax, but feel real care and comfort - this is the place for you. We left with the feeling that we were leaving not from just a place to live, but a small house to which you will definitely want to return. Erich, thank you so much!!! We really didn’t want to leave and will definitely come back. We cannot thank Erich enough and recommend a stay there to anyone and everyone. Lovely family cats and dogs too. • Beth (10/5): Ring driver - Eric our host is a true bonvievant! What a delight.We arrived late in the evening and was greeted by a massive Lab and 2 cats. Lab not his and cats disappeared. We were there to drive the Nordschlafen. Erik provided us with stories and tidbits of info about the track. Food was excellent and alot of it! The room was large and very cozy, eider down quilts, chocolates on pillow. It truly was like visiting an old friend. His place is also very scenic with drop dead views from his patio. We will return!

• Madlen (10/5): - Wir waren zu zweit in der Pension. Der Empfang war schon sehr herzlich. Wir haben uns direkt wohl gefühlt. Vom Gastgeber sogar gute Tipps bekommen wo man sehr gut essen kann. Die Zimmerausstattung war perfekt. Frühstück war ganz toll, mit frisch gepressten Säften und einer riesigen Speisenauswahl. Wir kommen auf alle Fälle wieder.
• Artis (10/5): A real home away from home. - Exceptional host! There are many hotels that just ask you to "feel at home". Pension Schwedenkreuz is one that really, genuinely delivers on that promise. The usual amenities are of course all there - a large, clean, well appointed room with an excellent bathroom, Netflix, etc. But that's not the point. Erich, the owner of the property, is a genuinely warm and caring host. It's not just the personally served delicious breakfasts and the meaningful conversations. It's a whole range of unexpected amenities and privileges that are not even mentioned in the overall description of the house, yet are there - in a way they would be in your own home. The name "guest-house" does not even serve full justice. This place is a home away from home, like when you would visit an old friend. For us, a bunch of petrol-heads on our annual pilgrimage to Nurburgring, Erich also served as a knowledgeable mentor. Thank You, and hope to visit again! Should have stayed for longer :)
• Anna (10/5): You need to meet Erich - Amazing welcome, we felt like at home. Close to the Ring, but surprisingly quiet. Erich is the most positive person in the world and he made our stay as comfortable as anyone can imagine. I am also grateful for his advice on how to ride safely and have fun around the Ring. As a racing fan, this will probably be our forever spot to sleep over when visiting Nürburgring. 20/10 would recommend Absolutely nothing, everything was perfect.

• Viktor (10/5): If you're a fan of Nurburgring (or cars in general), this is a great place to stay. Very homely feel - Very friendly, helpful and hospitable owner. Greatly designed shower (weird thing to point out but this thing had been so well thought through). Free parking right in front of the building. Comfy beds, large room. Great breakfast, fresh juice. Nurburgring is nearby and as the owner is a big fan himself, you can get great information regarding it. Unfortunately we stayed only one night so we didn't have time to look around and enjoy all the amenities (such as the patio with a cold drink). If we're ever around, we'll gladly return. There's no fridge in the room, rather a one in the kitchen shared with the owner (this wasn't an issue as the owner was very willing to help).

Thank you! - The place it set perfectly into the side of the beautiful hills, the scenery, the drive in the cars, the standards within and the comfort throughout leave nothing to be desired. As much as this building, it’s rooms and it’s ample parking provide you with the stay you need.. the host and his family provide you with a faultless, yet real sense of effort to make your trip perfect. Nothing is a problem, their generosity is a thing so often lost in the world we live and whatever you are visiting this place for, you will be shocked by a level of service I have not personally seen at home or abroad beyond my own family for a very very long time! The fact we had to leave after only 2 days!!

• Lawrence (10/5): Best place i have stayed in Germany. - Was only there for one night but had an amazing time, Jana and his wife are amazing hosts and will definitely stay at their lovely pension next time i am in Nurburg. Jana's local knowledge and knowledge of motorsport makes for great conversation (that's why we all come to Nur right?) and the homely feel of their accommodation is something you wouldn't get at many other places.

• Colin (10/5): Country surprise. - An amazing place in the country very close to the Nurburgring race track, there was a lovely Italian restaurant nearby, very quiet to sleep at night. Nothing wasn't too much for Eric the host, 75" television, wonderful breakfast with a choice of whatever you want, lots of information about the local area. Highly recommended.
