Guest Reviews
- Jinhuo (9/5): - The place is really nice and comfy. The owner was very helpful and even helped us make an appointment for a restaurant. You can see Mt. Fuji just 100 m away from the hotel. The room is spacious. Everything is good.

- Yoonmi (6/5): - Close to transport, quietness Found hairs and blood stain on blanket cover. Had to ask for using microwave.
- Fotios (10/5): - Amazing place, a must-visit for people who want to experience a more traditional side of Japan. The kind sir who worked there helped us a lot and made us feel comfortable. I would revisit for sure and I recommend this place to anyone that visits Mt. Fuji.
- AlejoBra (10/5): Gran experiencia!

- Catherine (9/5): Great little affordable place in a super location. - I loved this modest little place, super location and lovely staff. Such a great price! Recommend.

- Elisa (8/5): Good short stay - The hotel is nice. The bedroom is spacious and comfortable. It’s a traditional bedroom with futon, but it was comfortable for me. The rest of the bed room, bathroom and kitchen space, were a bit cold and hard to heat, but bedroom was hot enough. The location is great just few min walk from fuji Q and easy to get around the fuji area by bus.

- Jie (10/5): A warm and unforgettable stay - The owner of the guesthouse is truly kind, sincere, and caring.
After asking about my arrival time, he waited for me in advance and had already turned on the air conditioning. Later, when I was out, he even switched to dehumidifying mode to make the room more comfortable. He thoughtfully brought me tea, coffee, snacks, and even two paper cups to prevent burns from hot water. One morning, I found my shoes had been moved from the cabinet to the entrance—most likely by the owner—to make it easier for us to put them on.
The guesthouse is a traditional Japanese tatami-style house. My room was named “Maple,” and the sliding doors had beautiful autumn leaf designs. It had a private toilet with voice control, a separate Japanese-style shower, and a soaking tub.
The location is excellent—just a 5-minute walk to Q Highland, and Mt. Fuji is right in front of you. An unforgettable stay.
Highly recommened The only downside? It’s too far away from where I live—I wish I could stay longer.

- Sara (10/5): Exceptional - We’ve had an amazing stay!!
The room was so cosy with the tatami mats and futons, and the host was very kind and helpful ; even lended us umbrellas when it was pouring rain. Not to mention the view on Mount Fuji right out the front door.
Highly recommended place to stay! :)

- Adrianna (10/5): Amazing, authentic Japanese experience - Authentic Japanese experience with the Japanese bath, futon, walking without shoes at the whole property, matcha set and warm water available evocative in the room, and extremely helpful, nice host. Everything was excellent

- Hui (9/5): Great place to wind down after a long day - Warm and friendly host. Very clean and homey place.
- Khaliun (8/5): Very good - It was closer to bus station Check out is at 9 in the morning
- Shirley (9/5): Great convenient stay for budget travelers! - Very convenient, excellent budget friendly option, easy and smooth check-in/check-out process. Towels, toothbrush, slippers and other necessities provided. Clean airbnb. Only suggestion is to provide softer pillows. I only stayed two nights so I did not bother requesting for different pillows if that was an option available. Other than that, I think Nakano is a great option for travelers with a budget.
- Ching-hui (9/5): Great value and a good experience for a solo traveler - It was easy to reach with public transportation. The pillow.
