- Yuliya (6/5): - Несмотря на то, что женщина руководитель была очень вежлива и просила поставить 10 баллов, все-таки решила написать все как есть. За всё время моего пребывания ни разу не делалась уборка в номере, в душевой кабине была сломана часть двери и полностью не закрывалась, поэтому после принятия душа везде была вода. Мои руки покусали какое-то букашки. Моя комната располагалась на втором этаже, а на первом этаже как я поняла жил персонал. Каждый вечер и утром персонал очень громко разговаривал, даже орали. Я не могла спокойно заснуть. Утром я просыпалась от их криков. Слышимость ужасная в отеле. Если кому-то важно отдыхать после длительных прогулок, то это не то место. Я часто приезжаю в Стамбул, но такой опыт у меня в первый раз. Точно не буду бронировать этот отель и советовать не буду. Месторасположении хорошее, только это радовало. В остальном разочарование.

- Kankichi Sakurai (10/5): - 予定より早い到着でしたがチェックインさせていただきました。 英語は話せないトルコ語のみのフレンドリーなマダムのスタッフがいて言葉が全く通じないながらも非常に楽しい交流ができました。 トルコ語でガンガン話しかけられるのは嫌じゃない。いい体験。 あとイスタンブールに猫は何処にでもいますがホテルの猫がとても可愛かった。 空調の使い方がよく分かりませんでした。 快適な気候の時期でしたので問題ありませんでしたが時期によってはスタッフに使い方を教わったほうが良いでしょう。
- SAMIRA (10/5): - Ich wohne derzeit in diesem Hotel und habe bisher eine sehr gute Erfahrung gemacht. Das Zimmer ist sauber und komfortabel und die Atmosphäre im Hotel ist ruhig und angenehm. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich bin mit meinem Aufenthalt zufrieden und kann dieses Hotel weiterempfehlen. Ein kleiner Punkt, der mir nicht so gut gefallen hat, ist, dass das WLAN manchmal etwas langsam ist. Außerdem wäre es schön, wenn es beim Frühstück etwas mehr Auswahl gäbe. Trotzdem ist mein Aufenthalt hier insgesamt angenehm.

Moreover, I never felt safe during my stay. I only stayed to sleep, and I would never stay another day. I do not recommend this place at all. Ha sido la peor experiencia en un hotel. Jeden tag an der Rezeption Bescheid gesagt und 2 bis 3 mal eingepackt und umgezogen daher habe ich erfahren dass der allgemein Zustand des Hotels ist in jedem Zimmer gleich war. Bettbezüge waren immer verfleckt nach altes Blut oder sonst was und so waren die Toiletten Tücher. Nie wieder in das Hotel und ich möchte das auch niemanden weiter empfehlen…

I reception no body can speak English Two days before checking out, our room lost electricity so the lady in reception first said I don’t know I’m working here, then she said wait until 9 PM , then she changed our room to I think 5 or 6 floor with no lift, 55 steps to our room and the AC was not working properly, the next day there was no running water so went out from the room to get out of exaggeration, overall not recommended
- Guillaume (8/5): A hotel in an interesting environment with a clean and comfortable room and friendly, English speaking staff. - The Antik Ipek Hotel is located in the heart of Istanbul near the square with the beautiful Beyazit mosque and the tram line that connects the most important highlights of the city. There was a prepared breakfast - no buffet- in the morning in a room without daylight.

- Dustin (10/5): Great deal for the price - For the price nothing beats this place. I am a solo traveler and they were very accommodating, even for my (small) dog. Super friendly staff and the room is only like 25 bucks. It’s cheaper than the hostels around and you get a private bathroom. The property itself is a 10-15 minute walk to grand bazaar and 15-20 to Sultan Ahmet area. Also where the hotel is located is where some of the best food is at half of the price of the food up the hill, so you can eat near the hotel

Staff are disrespecting customers and always angry. l stood in front of the reception to pay for more than 15 minutes, because reception man was talking to his girlfriend, laughing and looking at me. NOT RECOMMENDED even if they pay you to stay.

Cleanliness, found occasional cockroach wondering around on the wall as well as in the bathroom near the shower window. Shower can not held up on the wall mount because all broken. AC was not reliable for in hot weather. AIr Condition didn’t work in one room so they had to move me on my request but took a time.

- Victoria (3/5): Poor - Perfect location in the heart of Istanbul. My flight was delayed, and I arrived around 1am -- the guys kindly waited for me and let me inside my room. I'm super grateful for that. Troubles to negotiate in English: when I realized, I am to be late I tried to call the hotel and ask if I may arrive later (as Booking indicates, the check in is till midnight). But they answered they don't understand me. Super dirty: hairs on the bed (I wondered, how many people slept on the same lbed sheets before me), insects running over me the whole night... for some reason I looked into the fridge-- I would forget it if I could. The room was dead: A/C didn't work (in summer, with 0 air coming from the open window), light switch in the bathroom laid next to the wall, the doors in the shower were not working).

- Peter (8/5): Surprisingly pleasant stay for a budget traveller - I booked 5 nights for extremely favourable price and after reading negative comments, I expected the worst. However, I was pleasantly surprised. Well, it is a 2-star hotel in Turkey on a busy street full with noisy locals, so you cannot expect any luxury, but considering the price I paid I was very satisfied. Yes, I found some small beetles inside the table (1 dead, 1 alive before I killed it) where they enjoyed the heat from the dirty old minifridge below (so I better not used it), the "view" from my room was into the building opposite and not very scenic, some lights in the room were not working and the hotels furniture and bathroom are little bit worn-down, but for about 11 EUR per night what can you expect? The bed was reasonably clean (I do not search for every single hair) and comfortable, the bathroom in working condition with hot water H24, wi-fi was working, they supplied enough toilettries, the receptionists spoke reasonable English and they gave me a double room on the quiet side instead of a booked economy single room. So why would I complain? It is situated in Sultanahmet, within 15 mins of Aya Sofia and Sultanahmet Mosque, within 15 mins walk of 2 metro stations and Yenikapi train station (Marmaray line), there are many restaurants and shops around. IST airport can be reached by metros+walk within 90 minutes, SAW airport by metro+train+walk within 120 minutes. Not for a luxury lover, but good for budget traveller. Or maybe I was just lucky...

- Abass (4/5): Disappointing - Restaurants, supermarkets and ATMs within 2 minutes walking distance from hotel. The location is in the lower area of all the top attractions ie. Blue mosque, grand bazaar, beyazit square, Tram & Hagia Sophia. Vehicles are not allowed to drive up the very steep road, so you need to walk about 2km uphill. Very difficult especially travelling with an infant with weather over 30 degrees

- Dimitris (7/5): Cheap price, good inside, bad outside. - Location - It will be convenient for those who came for shopping. In the beginning of November cold in room. Conditioner doesn't work. No warm blankets, not enough bed sheet, small pillows. The location is close to the sights, but the area itself is too cramped, noisy, dirty, constant traffic jams, and constant beeps of cars.
