Beim Frühstück toll pouchierte Eier. Ein Parkplatz ist vorhanden. Ausstattung ist ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen.

The staff in general were very nice, except...the landlord! Good bar area with pool table, darts and board games. The landlord was unwelcoming. Only grunted, impossible to have a conversation with, cut us off on the first word. The room was far from clean. Stains on the bedding, dust and cobwebs abundant. Shower room unfinished. Sink didn't drain, toilet unclean plus loose seat, no toilet brush and the shower took an age to warm up.

Cockerill (10/5): What a lovely hotel - Really elegantly decorated and modern. Liked the idea of honesty boxes on the landing for chocolate. The food was lovely, well needed after a long bike ride and tired. Staff were really friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was spot on, lovely relaxed environment and staff again very helpful and welcoming. Would definitely re visit on another motorbike adventure in Wales! Recommended

Bacon was hard( understandable as we arrived at the end of breakfast. need to cater for vegan diners and lactose free, couldn’t enjoy a morning tea/coffee as no variation of milk, Tv too small & too far to watch in bedroom, The toilet wasn’t flushing so couldn’t use that facility 😤 staff were helpful with amenities
ian (10/5): Lovely friendly hotel in a lovely town - Behind the hotel was Free off street parking for our motorcycles, all staff were friendly and pleasant from check in to kitchen to cleaning staff. We had a week touring around Wales and this was the best hotel we stayed at and the breakfast was exceptional ! along with those nice touches like pristine white table clothes, top quality condiments(heinz and hp sauces) and small individual jam and honey jars. Would definitely recommend and I would stay here again. nothing

The Bar had a nice relaxed atmosphere and staff were friendly. Ideal location for town and getting around. While bedding and towels were clean, the rest of the room could have done with a deep clean. There was thick dust on surfaces. Tea stains on skirting boards and dirty teaspoons in the cups. Bathroom fan wasn’t working causing mold on ceiling.

Andrew (9/5): Nice stay in the centre of Builth Wells - The hotel was centrally located close to shops, pubs and restaurants. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We were on a cycling trip and needed somewhere secure to store our bikes. There is no secure bike store but the owner kindly agreed to let us store our bikes in the hotel restaurant as it was not busy. Our room was comfortable and reasonably quiet at night, though there was some traffic noise as we were facing onto the main road. Breakfast was really good.

Robert (4/5): This hotel could be so much better with a bit of effort - A pretty poor offering from this hotel. The place needs a bit more effort put in. The room was rather grubby in many places, the TV was ancient, leads all over the place, with a reduced-working remote held together with a rubber band, broken bedside lamp, cheapest uncomfortable soft springy mattress, inadequate curtains for the street light right outside the window. Breakfast was very basic ('mushrooms' means one small mushroom), very little choice and with nothing to offer for those that are vegan other than a couple of bowls of tinned fruit. At £139 per night I've had much better for less in central London. 'Visit Wales' tourists should expect better than this.

Jones (10/5): A warm, welcoming stay with great company, and hosts who truly make you feel at home. - We stayed at the Greyhound Hotel in Wales for 3 nights (April 17–20) and had an absolutely lovely time. Jane and her family were fantastic—welcoming, friendly, and just genuinely lovely people. You can tell they really care about the place and the people in it. The atmosphere was relaxed and easy-going, the kind of place where you end up having great chats with other guests over a drink or breakfast without even trying. Good people, good vibes, and a great getaway, would definitely come back. Thanks again to Jane, family and staff.
