David (10/5): A Great B&B in Wales - It was a lovely b&b, just what you’d expect from a farm location (though it was very close to a busy road). Jane, the proprietor, met me at the door and showed me to my room. The room was beautifully decorated, the beds were comfortable, and the ensuite was large and modern. The breakfast menu was incredible, ranging from cereal to a full Welsh breakfast, much of it prepared from local ingredients.

The setting is peaceful and cosy. It is in rural Wales and we had the true Welsh warmth and hospitality. Nigel showed us around the grounds and we met the Donkeys which were lovely. We cannot recommend this enough if you are wanting a relaxing, authentic and cosy couple of nights. We left with warm hearts. This is simply a must stay.

Our room was clean and very comfortable (with an amazing bathroom!). We had a coffee machine with pods, kettle with sachets and teabags, plus cookies. It was exactly what we were looking for. The room wasn't very large, but plenty of space for a night's stay. I felt relaxed from the moment we walked in the door. The full traditional breakfast was fantastic, although I really wish I'd tried the Welsh breakfast complete with cockles and laver bread! They were flexible about our arrival and departure time and were on hand to ask any questions throughout our stay. Thank you Jane and Nigel!

Really friendly hosts, great breakfast - a very comfortable, enjoyable stay. Even had EV chargers available (not often seen!). Coffee machine a godsend for that morning "kick". Would highly recommend.

Jo (10/5): Into 5 star comfort from our war zone ! - Jane and Nigel were especially helpful as we had finished a tiring days riding our motorbikes on the TET and turned up in a bit of a mess in all our muddy and wet gear. They even gave us somewhere undercover to put our bikes to do some maintenance the next morning. Our room was extremely comfortable and Jane gave us a perfect table to have some supper before we collapsed for the night. Breakfast was superb with a fantastic choice of delicious options. Thank you both for your hospitality.
KEN (10/5): Welcoming and lovely place to stay - Tucked away from the main road when Jane opened the door the welcome was fantastic. Nothing was tool much trouble, honesty box of local product, breakfasts locally sourced lots of choice . Clean comfortable bedrooms, lovely sitting room with a lawn to sit on, dining room all nicely services. Out side an electric charger and Donkey's ha ha Nigel will help with suggestions of what you can do it speaks for itself that other guest had been their several time. Not far from the end of the M4.

Jane (10/5): - This B&B is a 250 year old gorgeous house in a remote area of Wales. The conversion to a B&B has revealed great features of the original house. Our room was terrific with an amazing sunken shower. The hospitality of our host, Jane and Nigel, was straightforward and genuine. Breakfast was ample and truly delicious. All in all, a highlight of our vacation!

IAN (10/5): A Great B&B - We had a superb 3 day break here. It was clean, friendly and handy for places we wanted to visit. Nigel and Jane were excellent hosts and the breakfasts kept you going all day. We had a huge room with a superb wet room with one of the best showers i have ever used. Also to note are that Rosie and Jasmine ( the donkeys) do like a bit of attention!!! Happily return if we are ever in the area again.

M (10/5): Great hosts, Perfect Accommodation - I cannot rate the hosts and accommodation highly enough. We received a warm welcome from the hosts on arrival who were attentive to all our needs. Though it is an old farmhouse, the room had modern tasteful furniture with plenty of storage space, a good selection of specialty teas, coffees, bottle of water, and a Nespresso coffee maker (which to be honest was wasted on me as I don't touch anything made by Nestle). The rainfall shower and separate handset gave a satisfyingly invigorating shower. The hosts have also thought about the environment with heating done through a biomass boiler. The many different breakfast items to choose from are locally sourced or made by the hosts. I had Welsh breakfast which includes lava bread and cockles. Delicious! Also available to buy are local products. Such a great place to stay in a peaceful location on the edge of Ammanford.

We were so warmly welcomed by our hosts Jane & Nigel who looked after us so well. Our bedroom was delightful and located within the main farmhouse itself, the bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed the rainwater shower, and the many lovely touches within the room and the house itself. Every small detail was well thought out and we had everything we needed and more. The choice at Breakfast was wide and varied and we could have chosen something different every morning of our 4 night stay but what we did chose was cooked and served to perfection. You will not be disappointed if you book here. We can not recommend Pontyclerc highly enough so thank you again Jane & Nigel we will most definitely stay with you again if we get the chance.

Jane was a perfect host and they have refurbished a characterful old cottage sensitively providing and excellent standard of modern accommodation with many original features reminding you are in what was once a rural area if Wales.
