- Walsh (10/5): Clean calm and comfortable. - I was greeted by friendly staff who swiftly took me to my room. The room has all the facilities you need. It was lovely to wake up and make a fresh coffee and very delicious biscuits and the shower was amazing. The bed was very comfortable. There was nothing I didn’t like. It was perfect night stay.

I also love the cadburry chocolate and tea they leave next to the coffee capsules. Walking around the area was nice there is a park behind the hotel and a pedestrian Street with shops and little cafés. The underground station and bus stops are very close. Two days we didn’t have the room made

- Nga Li Alice (9/5): - Clean, well equipped, well connected with overground and buses. Shower with good temperature and pressure. Though it is situated above the pub, it is surprisingly quiet throughout my weekday stay. If I’m being picky, the small twin room I stayed needs a small chair / stool, and also a hairdryer.
- Charles (9/5): A fun place to stay with tastefully decorated room that makes other alternatives seem rather boring - We loved the central location, the room and bathroom with full bath was lovely. Not sure it could have been better, but the room is above a pub and main roads, so not the quietest place to stay. It is part of the offering and the room was reasonably well insulated.

The room i selected had the on-suite, everything was top drawer, from the cleanliness of the room and bedding, the on-suite to the facilities. it was perfect. Obviously given the location parking is non existent, but for anyone familiar with London this was not a surprise and to be expected.

Bedden zijn lekker! Het is vrij warm op de kamers (staat wel een airco) en buiten lawaaiig van het verkeer.

A fan was provided but there wasn't not much room for it, with a result things felt a little cramped.

- David (8/5): Excellent room in a lively area - The Crown is only a few minutes walk from Hackney Central which is on the above-ground rail network and has plenty of bus options too. Our room was excellent, quite a good size. The bathroom in particular had a large shower and a standalone bath. Noise was a minor irritation. The pub is situated on a busy intersection with a pedestrian walkway down to Hackney Central station. The bar area in the pub is quite cosy and tends to get full quickly in the evenings, however things did settle down each night we were there and sleeping wasn't an issue after around 11pm.

- Wes (10/5): Fantastic London Boozer - Fantastic helpful staff, really comfortable beds Quiet room on the top floor. A real London boozer with friendly locals nice atmosphere. Room was extremely clean a big thanks for the cleaning staff. Highly recommend staying here. No breakfast but a really nice cafe 2 minutes away can’t remember the name ☺️

- Marilyn (1/5): Disappointing - Not safe for single female travellers. Room is not as advertised. - The room looked OK but smells of smoke and is noisy from pub below. ALSO to get to the room you go through the pub - a room full of drinking patrons who all clocked you as you entered or left - or the other entrance was a gate to the alley at side ( also with pub customers sitting next to door) that was easily accessible by reaching through the bars. So it is not comfortable or safe for a single female traveling alone. Property is NOT SAFE for single females! Not as advertised as the entry to the room is not clearly described. No security or concierge. Entrance to room is through a pub - and the side entrance through alleyway ( for use after 11pm) is easily opened from outside - side door access code easily seen by patrons sitting NEXT to the door. Don’t pay in advance - Property will try have you stay and/or keep ALL of your money if you stay or not! No help or refund from booking.com after cancellation $110 credit offered for $1,900 reservation. I did not stay and had to stress & scramble at 7pm to book another hotel after many hours flying to UK.

- Sonam (1/5): - I delivered a baby just two days ago before visit this place i was not sure they hv lift in the place i got c section bcz kf that couldn’t walk properly i was not aware about the lift n all i specifically mentioned that i need comfort n all the facilities but when I reached there they said u hv to climb on the stairs that was disappointing for me n my partner Communication
- Laura (9/5): Always made to feel very welcomed, rooms and beds are so comfortable and relaxing! - I have stayed here numerous times over the years when I have come up for work and always met with a genuine smile and welcome, I just love it! They have recently refurbished and the rooms are so lovely and the beds are like sleeping in a cloud!

- Ian (9/5): Weekend stay. - The location was ideal for the event we were attending. It would be good to be able to have breakfast within the Crown, although realise they may not be set up to provide food. We did use local cafes which were reasonably good.

- Jamie (5/5): Nice room - very noisy so wouldn't stay again - Clean nice room, checked in all good. The problem is the noise is awful - I'm surprised other reviews didn't mention this. If you're in London out late this is a great place to stay but if you plan sleeping any earlier than 10pm you won't want to stay here, the walls are paper thin & it's very loud from the pub/venue downstairs. The noise.

Well connected with public transportation, cool neighborhood, lovely community pub in the bottom. Beautiful room with TV (you could use Netflix, BBC iPlayer etc). Got cleaned and refilled every day. Lovely helpful staff. Perfect for the solo traveler - I felt very safe and taken care of. Nothing to complain about!

Serena is lush. Would have loved to be staying another night so we could have spent an evening in the pub itself! (We stayed for a gig in bar Oslo) Nothing not to like.

- Simon (10/5): For a great stay and an easy location to get into and out of the centre of london it had everything - The Room was fabulous with an extra wow factor. The beds were very comfy and every provision was catered for. The shower as strong and even had a large fee standing ball and claw footed bath. The décor was exceptional and very tasteful. There was nothing that we didn't like. Couldn't fault the whole stay. You wouldn't have thought you were staying a Pub there was no noise to be heard when in your room.

Everyone was so nice, the room was very clean (and the bed so comfy!), the area was great, everything we were hoping for and more ! It feels so nice to come home at the end of a long day and know you’ll find a warm pub full of people on the way to your room. Thank you again so much for making our stay even better !

A bit loud but it was a Friday night in Hackney in a - The room was spacious and it was close to where I needed to be. There was loud music from the pub on until 12am, there was a lot of loud noise on all through the night due to it being a Friday night and on the main road. I was in the room with the balcony, the blinds didn’t fully close out the streetlights outside and there was a smell of stale smoke in the room. The bed was 2 singles put together so you couldn’t spread out very easily.
