• Robert (4/5): Für eine Übernachtung war's ausreichend. - Sauberkeit war gut, Frühstück war soweit Ok Der SD-Fernseher hat eine Größe eines Laptops. Wenn man einen SD Fernseher an einen HD-Receiver anschließt, sollte man wissen, dass die öffentlich-rechtlichen Sender seit Januar 2025 nur noch in HD senden. Somit sind ARD, ZDF und Co. auf einem SD-Fernseher nur noch als Hörspiel zu hören, mit schwarzem Bildschirm. Außerdem ist für technisch Ungeübte das Bedienen der Kombination von Fernseher und Receiver schwierig. Unsere Bekannte brauchte Unterstützung um überhaupt etwas sehen zu können. Zudem hatte sie ihre Dusche im Schlafzimmer, in einer Größe, dass man sich nicht Mal nach der Seife bücken konnte.

• Inge (7/5): - Badkamer met een gescheiden toilet. Ouderwetse maar grote wastafel. Inrichting kamer gemoderniseerd. Ontvangst was niet super hartelijk. Het was behoorlijk gedateerd. Ontbijt was een beetje magertjes. Geen koffie of theefaciliteiten op de kamer.

• Serge (6/5): Redelijk goed. Ontbijt kon beter. - Het ontbijt was aan de magere kant, vrij beperkt. Kamer was in orde en proper. Een goed bed. Ontbijt.

• Karl-Heinz (4/5): Einmal und nie wieder. - Frühstück war ok. Leider kein Restaurant wie in der Werbung angegeben, da kein Koch vorhanden. Wir wurden im Zimmer Nr. 24 untergebracht, welches sich in einem verbretterten Nebengebäude befand und nirgends in den Werbebildern zu sehen ist. Schon der Eingang zu diesem Gebäude ließ zu wünschen übrig, da die Haustüre über den Boden schrammte und sich schwer schließen ließ. Das Zimmer, u.a. Zimmer 21 - 24 befinden sich in diesem Gebäude, ließ ebenfalls zu wünschen übrig. Zimmertür quietschte , die Bettbeleuchtung gab beim ersten Gebrauch ihren Geist auf. Dusche / WC waren in einem Raum untergebracht, der nicht viel größer als ca. 1,7 m x 1,7 m war. Die Dusche selbst war 0,7 x0,7m groß und ließ ebenfalls zu wünschen übrig. Auf dem WC wurde man YSeekrank, da die Toilettenschüssel bei jeder Bewegung hin und her schaukelte. Die Toilettenrolle war schon fast im Rücken installiert und somit schwer erreichbar. Die Toilettenschüssel selbst ist in einer Nische installiert, die selbst nicht viel größer als die Schüssel selbst ist. TV war auch nicht viel größer als ein Laptopbildschirm. Alles in Allem gesehen, war es schon ernüchternd und das bei 280,00€ für zwei Übernachtungen mit Frühstück.

• Sara (10/5): Exceptional - Nice place and nice host. Everything is clean and tidy. Breakfast was really good. The place is situated really close to Monschau. There is a reserved parking for cars but also for bikes or motorbikes.

He was also very helpful and kind. The rooms and toilet was very neat and clean. I would definitely return again. Maybe if the rooms could have bar fridges.

• Pim (7/5): Little bit outdated, nothing special hotel, but clean-ish and good for a one-night stay. - Price / value ratio O.K., nothing special (boring) but serves its purpose. We were only there for one night and that's O.K. Carpet on the ground is less 2023, also not necessarily that clean. Bathroom was very outdated. Hotel sells itself as a Monschau hotel but clearly almost too far away from the tourist place.

• Pernilla (1/5): pas correct rapport qualité prix - the restaurant and the breakfast was mor or less good all the rooms had an electrical problem, no sockets or lighting... we had a baby who needed temperate food during the night and it was impossible to recharge the mobile phones... do you think he would compensate us reasonably for that? not at all, only answer, you had heating and a bed, what more do you want? more in the evening, we were burned in the 2nd degree by the shower. Couldn't easily adjust the flow of hot and cold water, and when we finally got there, if someone else took water, we got boiling water all over us and given the size of the shower ( 80*80), impossible to avoid the jet...burn on a part of the body...not to mention that the shower is so small in the room with a sink...compared to the price of 190€ for one of the rooms with 3 beds, and even 120€ for the other 2 to avoid urgently despite a decent dinner we were in another part of the adjoining hotel and really not in relation to the asking price. We asked the manager for a discount who didn't want to hear it. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone else

• Frank (6/5): Einfacher Gasthof - Nach der Beschreibung hatten wir nicht erwartet, dass der Gasthof 6km von Monschau-Altstadt entfernt liegt. Der Einstieg zum Wanderweg ist zwar in direkter Nähe, aber am Abend musste man über die Bundesstraße zurücklaufen. Wir waren die einzigen Gäste im Hotel, daher war die Küche zu, aber zum Glück gibt es in direkter Nähe ein kleines Restaurant. Das Frühstück war gut und ausreichend.
