• Евгения (1/5): - Ничего Во первых на фото соседняя гостинница Голубой балкон)) на самом деле это комната с четырмя рядом стоящими кроватями, маленький старый телевизор из детства) под ним в единственной розетке тройник это по описанию розетка возле кровати))) завтрак это омлет из одно размазанного яйца) и главное это запах старости потому что дом ооочень старый Про типа кухню и ванную я молчу) фен даже искать не стала) а и вид их окна это вид с коридорного окошка во двор этого дома где старый диван называют террасой За то что я не осталась в этом сняли за двое суток, хотя съехала в течении двух часов как только нашла новое жилье))

• Alina (10/5): Дом 1861 года в центре старого Тбилиси - Дом держат замечательные люди! Я забыла 50 евро, когда уезжала. И хозяйка мне сама написала, спросила как она может вернуть деньги. Мы через день пришли и забрали лично. Такой честности я давно не встречала! Про жилье: Это не просто отель. Этот дом построен в 1861 году. Вы тут живете как грузины того времени, что очень интересно. Милый дворик, большие комнаты, необычная планировка. Да, все пахнет стариной и пылью, но в этом есть своя романтика. Про завтраки: Прекрасная хозяйка вечером спрашивала во сколько мы хотим завтракать и к этому времени накрывала стол. Мы были в конце апреля - не жарко, но и не холодно. Поэтому завтракали во дворе на улице. Очень вкусно и по-домашнему! Местонахождение: Жилье находится прямо у крепостной стены, которая когда-то была краем Тбилиси. По сути, это центр старого Тбилиси. Рядом есть остановка автобуса, рестораны, кафе, храм - все что нужно для жизни. Мы отдыхали семьей (6 взрослых, из них 2 мамы), и все очень довольны. Большое спасибо хозяевам! Всем советуем тут остановиться.

We went on September, the weather was little hot. Better to have a AC in the room. Won’t be a problem during winter.

Потрясающая комната в номере (4-х местная) — уютно и прохладно, работает кондиционер. Чистая ванная комната с большим зеркалом. Удобная большая кровать, поместились с младенцем вдвоем.

• Cristina (10/5): Re ommended stay in Tiblisi - Fantastic location next to bus stop to airport, in the old part but not noisy area, close to republic square. Shared bathroom for just 2 bedrooms thought can host 6-7 people, it also has a shared kitchen. Possibility to use washing machine. Fantastic breakfast and accommodating to allergies. Air-con only in the shared area though I didn't find the need for it in the room in august. Good WiFi. And useful and English speaking staff. Can get noisy, as the isolation with central area is not too good. Luckily my neighbours were quiet :)

• Keizo (9/5): Super-conveniently located and welcomed by a friendly host family - I used this accommodation when first visited Georgia and Tbilisi five years ago. The main reason was I wanted to stay in a building with the same atmosphere as the people who live in Tbilisi. The building is not new but is well maintained. Unbeatable value for money considering the location, which is a five-minute walk to Liberty Square. Host family treated me kindly this time, too. On the last night of stay, I had a great experience drinking and talking with their friends. I will never forget.

• Zongyan (10/5): Exceptional - An unforgettable but totally forgotten night here. Drink and talk with the hosts family and thier friend all night and then drunked. Just need to notify that the location is so wonderful which could walk around the city center in a few hours. As described, guests here have shared bathroom/washmachine/kitchen/refrigerator and all of them are kept as good and clean condition. Wish to be here again!

The gentleman who owns/runs this property didn't speak much English but was very nice. A lock on the downstairs toilet/ shower room would've been nice.

I have thought carefully before writing this. This is a kind couples home and business. The property is accurate in its description but this needs to be read with a realistic expectation, perhaps more hostel than hotel. Eg Rooms have no windows and air conditioning is on the corridor therefore to benefit bedroom door must remain open to communal area. I was not comfortable with this. Remember this property has a shared bathroom (as in description). Stairs had little or no lighting. Be realistic in expectations for price.

• Lak (10/5): A friendly,affordable,accessible staying We were planned to stay only one day but we had the pleas - we wer plan to stay o e day butwe were had the pleasure of staying 4days at this hotel for one day, and from the moment we arrived, we were greeted with the warmest hospitality. The elderly gentleman who welcomed us had a heart of gold and went out of his way to assist us with anything we needed. The rooms were impeccably clean and incredibly comfortable, complete with all the amenities we could ask for, including a well-equipped kitchen. Not only did he help us locate key attractions and important places in the city, but the hotel's location, right in the heart of the old city, made it incredibly convenient to explore the must-visit spots on foot. As a result, we ended up extending our stay for another three days, and every moment was truly amazing. The kindness didn't stop with the elderly gentleman; his wife was equally delightful and made our stay even more pleasant. Additionally, they offered a reasonably priced airport transfer service, making our departure hassle-free. This hotel is truly a great place to stay, and I couldn't recommend it more.

• Andrea (10/5): Cozy place in central Tbilisi - I was traveling with my wife and our two daughters (12 and 1 year old). The house position is strategic as it is in the very center of Tbilisi. Malhaz and his family are exceptional people and we really felt at home. They helped us with everything we needed. Malhaz was genuinely happy to chat with us and play with our little one. His wife prepares a delicious breakfast. Definetly a wonderful experience among newfound friends. 100% recommended.

• Ryan (10/5): Exceptional - Urban 1861 is a fantastic place to stay, and gives a glimpse of life outside of staying in a normal hotel. One piece of information - some of the rooms have shared bathrooms at the end of the hall (not a complaint, just something to be aware of when booking). The room is completely functional and you can also access a laundry machine etc, but make sure to bring your own toiletries. The owner is great, and is extremely friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is also extremely good every morning. My personal favorite was the eggs, fruits, and sugar coated pancakes - absolutely delicious. Also, the property is very conveniently located and is about 5-10 minutes away from the central square with the museums and the galleria (where you can find a bunch of food places etc.) and about 15-20 minutes away in the other direction from Narikala castle and the other major monuments. I really enjoyed my stay, highly recommend this place, and will definitely be staying again. no complaints

• Matjaz (10/5): Central Tbilisi accommodation right at the airport bus stop - Urban 1861 is located in the very centre of Tbilisi's old town. Airport bus stops almost at the entrance to the guesthouse, majority of Tbilisi sights are walking distance from the accommodation, also metro station is not far away. Since I arrived early in the morning I ordered airport pick up. The host waited for me at the airport and I was also able to check in early in the morning. The owner of the guesthouse is a very kind person and the breakfasts were great. -

The host was really welcoming and he gave us the information we needed. The room was not as we pictured from Booking.com and in addition the shower/ washing facilities and room itself were not of a standard we expected. Also the air conditioning that was claimed on the information was just a fan- which made it hard to sleep in such warm conditions. We checked out a night early and went to another place.
