Julien (3/5): 3 - Location We choose an room with hot bathtub and patio with furniture. The patio felt like a cage,no furniture, just air-conditioning engine and hot water tank and no furniture. The bathtub was not something you want to use, old and dirty. Also very little intimacy when there is a big gap under the window towards the inside court, anyone can hear you and the opposite way around. Rooftop terasse was just sad. Overpriced boutique hotell that look better on the nett than for real. Also no key to get in and out of the hotel, you need to ring the bell every time.

Zimmer war zur Straße gelegen. Fenster mussten aufgrund der fehlenden Klimaanlage aufgemacht werden. Extrem laut durch die Bars am Abend und den früh einsetzenden Verkehr. Die Fenster haben aber den Lärm auch nicht gemindert

The location in central Oaxaca was incredible and close to everything that I was doing for the trip. The courtyard was gorgeous and the entire vibe was relaxing. WiFi could have been better, but it's not a big deal to me.

LUCAS (8/5): Ótima localização e atendimento. - A localização . O quarto menor com varanda para o jardim é escuro e frio. Os banheiros possuem um chuveiro que, apesar de terem muita pressão, saiem pouca água. Além disso, a necessidade de tocar a campainha sempre que for entrar gera um barulho que todos escutam. Faltam móveis de apoio no quarto menor como algum lugar para abrir a mala ou cadeira de apoio. Um tapete ao lado da cama também aumentaria muito o conforto visto que o quarto sempre estava frio e escuro (no caso do quarto menor com varanda)

One minor comment is that one of the bedrooms had a rather thin wooden door with windows which meant it was susceptible to light and noise at night.

sandrine (8/5): Très bon séjour a l'agrado guest house et à Oaxaca - La cadre de l'hôtel est très agréable avec le patio central bien arboré. La chambre loft est spacieuse et le patio central entre la chambre et la salle de bain est appréciable et apporte un peu de luminosité. Le couchage est super et le linge de lit très agréable. Les petits déjeuner sont bien avec une constante et un élément qui change chaque jour. Par contre pas avant 8h30 ce qui est un peu tard d'autant qu'à cette heure ci ce n'est pas tout a fait prêt. La situation géographique est cependant au top à deux pas du zocalo et de santo Domingo. Vérifier l'équipement de la kitchenette- pas une seule fourchette mise a disposition et informer pour combien de jours est prévu le stock de capsules (3) car le réassort n'est pas systématique alors que c'est mis en description.

francisco (3/5): paciencia y tolerancia hacia las inconveniencias - el desayuno es apenas lo adecuado, el personal es amable. La ubicación del lugar es muy adecuada, en el mero centro de Oaxaca. Lo que no nos gustó fueron varias cosas: estuvimos en 3 habitaciones pues en la primera había mucho ruido de un antro cercano, aunque eso no depende del hotel en sí. Nos cambiaron a otra y ésta no tenía agua caliente, muy necesaria para bañarse en invierno, y al hacer el cambio a la tercera no funcionaba la palanquita del grifo de la bañera para que saliera en la regadera, así que nos bañamos a "jicarazos".

The location of the guesthouse was also prime and walkable to everything. This is really minor but some Mosquitos got underneath the door and I had to put a towel to cover the gap so I didn’t get eaten alive while I slept. Other than that, no complaints!

Dr Beccles (7/5): Oaxaca hotel is in a great location - The location is great. Its right in a safe residential area close to the cathedral, zocolo, bars and restaurants. The breakfasts was nice and it was good to mix with the other guests. We didnt like our initial balcony room which faced the noisy street. There is not much of a balcony anyway. However, the staff moved us to a very quite room at the back of the hotel. The hotel is in a lively area with lots of club music especially on weekends.

Eva (7/5): Nice but can be improved - The building is beautiful, the rooms spacious! Location is perfect, at a walking distance from the center of Oaxaca We had a room facing the main road and the window was very thin, we could hear all the noise from the street. We could also hear when staff was sweeping the leafs around (above?) our room, which they were doing at 6am Plus, the house has this odd dynamic where you don’t get a key to the main door and you always need to ring a bell. From our room, we could hear everytime the bell was being rung (at 7am but also at 1am). One day we wanted to leave at 6am and had to ring the bell a couple of times until someone came to open it for us (we ended up late and I’m sure the guests that were asleep ended up awake). A better solution needs to be found!
Dee (8/5): Overall with the exception of noise it was a lovestay. - It was conveniently located, It was clean, they served breakfast. Security was good. Esthetics were tasteful. There was a lot of conversation noise that came through the walls traveling upstairs throughout the open spaces courtyards kitchen and lobby into our room. and there was a good amount of street noise that came through the lobby.
Carlos Andres (10/5): Excelente lugar para disfrutar en Oaxaca ! - La limpieza, la ubicación y el desayuno. Inclusive, consideraron nuestras preferencias preparándonos un desayuno a la medida. Excelente el servicio y la atención del personal. El concepto del hotel es muy grato ya que se cuenta con privacidad y a la vez, espacio para compartir con los otros huéspedes. Volvería feliz ! Un TV podría haberle dado un plus adicional a la habitación.

JOSE ANTONIO (2/5): Decepcionante - Buena ubicacion. El personal es muy amable En dos de las tres habitaciones que estuvimos no hubo agua caliente ninguno de los dos dias. Esto lo reportamos y no se soluciono. Una de las habitaciones estaba en la planta baja y se escuchaba todo el ruido de la recepcion, restaurante, bar, puerta de entrada, etc. Eun una de las habitaciones habia cucarachas en el baño

Nichole (9/5): This is a lovely, quiet, and well located guest house in Oaxaca City. - The property is very clean and my room was quite quiet even though the location is a few blocks from the zocola. There are lovely and spacious common areas to relax in and I was happy to learn that a simple, but lovely breakfast was included with a different hot item each day, like scrambled eggs or eggs and beans. The property was also secure with 24 hour front staff. Including a note about ringing the door bell when first arriving would have been helpful.

Benjamin (6/5): Great location with good security in the historic centre. - Great location, great security bedroom spacious. Staff tried hard. No elevator, with heavy bags to get to the second floor. Very hard bed, that some may like. Attention to detail, for example there was a coffee machine in reception, which we found the day we left, no one had thought to tell us it was there for our use.

El staff amable con todos, buen desayuno. Me tocó una habitación que da a la calle y se escuchan los autos, motos, etc.. en la noche hay silencio. La cama podría estar mejor.
juan bruno (7/5): El hotel es muy bonito, el personal muy agradable, la ducha de mi habitación no tenía agua caliente. - La ducha del baño era un esparcidor de agua que resultó imposible bañarse, y por cierto, nunca salió agua caliente de la ducha. La ducha del baño, no tenía agua calienta y salía un llovizna que no permitía mojarse ni enjuagarse. No me pude bañar.

Shaked (4/5): Glad it was only one night. - The room was big, the bed was comfy, the location is good and the staff were welcoming. The bathroom wasn’t clean (maybe it was supposed to be part pf the design?), neither the bath itself. The shower head was really small and the water flow was really low. We got stained towels and bedding in our room - nothing too big, but still worth replacing. There’s no much lights in the room, so it was a bit dark even during daytime, and there’s no sound insulation at all - so you can here almost any conversation outside the room, not even talking about main hotel doorbell ring.
