Staff very kindly offered to post an item left behind.
- John (10/5): Great Place to Stay - Friendly welcome the moment we checked in Shown to room which was large and airy
Bed was very comfortable.large walk in shower.
The freshly cooked breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice and generous portions
Well stocked bar with excellent range of beers.
We didnt eat at the hotel in the evening, but looked very good ,and favourable comments were heard being given
All staff we came across were friendly and attentive
- Ian (10/5): - We regularly travel to Falmouth. Travelling a minimum of a day before our holiday let is available. Overnight accommodation can be hit or miss in Cornwall - we always pass The Norway Inn on the road into Falmouth. Previously had lunch, this time we stayed the night - really pleased the Norway Inn bedrooms are quiet - even considering that they are on a main road, and extremely comfortable. The food is surprisingly excellent.
- sarah (10/5): - Great central location for touring all over Cornwall. Very friendly informative staff
- MARY (8/5): - Overall very good. Had breakfast but yoghurt appeared after we had finished!
- Christine (6/5): Good location - A handy country pub. Comfortable room but disappointing meals.
- Scott (10/5): - Brilliant staff & good quality food. Great location.
- Andy (10/5): Would stay again - Stayed on business, had a great room, comfy bed, curtains which meant the room could be in the dark (not always a given). No road noise despite room being at the front. Breakfast very decent but not early enough for me starting at 7:30am would work for most people though I guess. shower worked well, toiletries provided - overall a great stay
- Sue (10/5): Nice stay - Lovely pub with rooms and food!
- Geoffrey (10/5): - An historic pub with delightful staff and delicious food. Despite being on a main road, the beautifully appointed rooms were peacefully quiet.
- Luca (10/5): Great stay - Large and confortable room, clean and silence. Big bath with large shower, very confortable bed, coffe and milk avaliable. Great staff and vry good breakfast. Parking just in front of the hotel.
- David (10/5): - We had a 4 day break at the Inn, could not find a fault with anything, the cleanliness, the comfort of the room, the breakfast, evening meals, the waitresses were very friendly as well as the bar staff. Although the Inn was on a main road it was barely noticeable due to the double glazing.
Thoroughly enjoyed the stay.
- Nicholas (10/5): Excellent - Great service and lovely rooms. Food Great 👍
- Stuart (10/5): Overnight stay - My daughter and I stayed for one as we were visiting the University. We had a beautiful spacious twin room. Beds were comfortable, we slept really well.
Breakfast was also delicious.
- Paul (6/5): Nice room poor food - Would be two stars but breakfast service was amazing
The room was spacious, lots of toiletries, comfortable, clean and surprisingly quiet
Unfortunately the evening meal was not good at all, and was made much worse by the lighting of the fireplace mid way through my meal. It smoked out the entire part of the pub I was eating in, resulting in my clothes smelling like a bonfire and an aggravation to my asthma. Totally ruined evening
- Phil (10/5): - Very nice food, lovely room. Nice breakfast
- Michelle (10/5): Horse Trip - I have stayed in a few hotels over the past few months and this is by far the best, The accommodation is fantastic and so clean and the food is amazing. 100% recommend
- Antoinette (8/5): - We enjoyed our stay in general. Staff is very nice and the food is very good too. The rooms are ok but the bathroom was very tired and in need of an upgrade. And tv channels were weird too.
- Jon (10/5): - Staff really friendly.
- Duane (10/5): - Top food, clean tidy and bonus of a ev charger.
- Aveenash (10/5): - At the Norway Inn, you will encounter remarkable individuals such as Leah, Adam, Shawn, Rachel, and many others. They are the very souls who make life truly worthwhile.
- Petru (10/5): - The staff is very friendly, the room is nice and comfy, good value for money
- LEE (8/5): - Good pub for overnight near falmouth, excellent evening meal, good choice for breakfast and rooms very spacious and comfortable with Aicon. :)
- Mr David (10/5): What’s not to like - As good as I expected from previous reviews. Room comfortable, clean and very quiet. Food great; I opted to eat from the varied menu every night. Staff all went the extra mile. And with public transport just yards away no need to use the car every day. I’ll be back!
- Linda (10/5): - Lovely place very clean and the room nice and light - would stay again
- Mark (10/5): - Great little find. Nothing really local in terms of walking distance, but well equipped rooms with double glazing, heating and air con, comfy beds and friendly service.
Fantastic food that locals travel specifically for - would stay again if in the area.
- Ian (10/5): - All happy
- Chris (8/5): - Staff were very pleasant and the room was clean but there was just a few things that needed touching up in the room and definitely in the bathroom
- KIM (10/5): Delightful - A lovely inn that guarantees a warm, relaxed and friendly welcome from all of the staff who work hard to ensure your stay with them is as comfortable as possible. There's plenty of parking and the rooms are spacious and well equipped. Ours even had air conditioning. The inn is perfectly located to explore beautiful Cornwall ... we had a wonderful stay.
- Anthony (10/5): Highly recommended - Quiet, clean and comfortable.
- Melissa (10/5): - We had a lovely stay, rooms are clean and cozy, great food and service and staff were excellent.
- Charles (10/5): - Comfortable bed and clean
- Peter (10/5): - Excellent value for money.
Great service, food and accommodation.
Well worth a visit
- Kate (10/5): - Very friendly and welcoming staff !
Would stay again
- Robert (6/5): - The bedroom felt a bit dated and the bathroom was not in good condition and could benefit from updating. Food was only served until 7pm on Sunday which meant we had to go elsewhere. The breakfast and choice was very good. Overall price on the high side.
- Steven (10/5): Exceptional - Room was really clean.
Food was gorgeous especially the cheese and crackers.
Bar staff were exceptional couldn't do enough and very polite. Would definitely book again
- Andrew (8/5): Nice hotel - The hotel is in a very convenient location, close to Truro, good food and a friendly staff. My only criticism was WiFi was poor I had to tether my mobile phone to send my emails.
- SUSAN (10/5): Impressed with The Norway inn - We stayed at the Norway for 2 nights…my husband & I were very impressed with our room….a nice space with everything needed, comfortable chair, tv, a long mirror (great). Bathroom space was good…my only comment would be…the lights were a little strange…took a time to sort the sequence…. But apart from that….
Great, comfortable stay.
Oh and the food was very good..breakfast & evening meal to suit all tastes.
Although we were on the busy main road, noise was not an issue ..double glazing good..
Would happily stay here again..
- Catrina (10/5): Overnight stay - Our only issue was the stairs as my husband has breathing difficulties and the stairs were challenging. However the room was very comfortable and the food and service were excellent
- michael (8/5): - Good clean room spacious great location food good
- Katherine (8/5): - The assistant manager and staff team are extremely welcoming, professional and helpful.
The rooms are quite large compared to an average hotel room and are comfortable.
The A30 runs past the property but the triple glazing baffles the sound of the traffic, however this does mean it’s noisy if you want to open the window.
- Dominick (8/5): - Outstandingly courteous and helpful staff. Very good value Sunday carvery.
- Ian (10/5): Fantastic stay food supurb - Fantastic place, extremely clean great staff and food was fabulous full credit to the new Chef ! My fish and chips were the best I’ve tasted in a long while!
Also a lot of Gluten Free options on the menu
- Miss Roxanna (10/5): We'd willingly stay here again. - This was just a one night stay away from home for two of us. It was a delightful break in a tripple glazed room with heavy cushions which kept out the light effectively. An enormous, comfortable, bed. There was an area, by the window to sit with a coffee table and a separate desk come dressing table. The bathroom was down a few steps it was spotlessly clean and large. Tea and coffee were on this level (so boiling the kettle, and separate lighting, didn't wake up the person still asleep) the eas also a fol length mirror here. The staff were all delightful and nothing was to much trouble for them. The evening meal was good and the breakfast was exceptionally good. All in all a very enjoyable time.
- Alan (10/5): Outstanding - Outstanding.
- Patrick (10/5): Norway Inn - Stopped here for a couple of nights. Right off the road it is easy to find. Parking can be busy during the day.
The room was a good size and clean. The bedroom window could do with a blind or net curtain as it overlooks the parking and main road. It just means you have to pull the curtains and put on the lights if needing privacy.
Friendly staff, good breakfast and evening meals.
Would recommend.
- Jaikumar (10/5): - Nice and spacious rooms, the staff were very welcoming. Service was good. The room had an AC which was very handy during the heatwave. Decent breakfast. Highly recommended stay near Falmouth
- S (10/5): Lovely - Accomodation, check-in, staff we excellent and could not do enough for you.
- IAN (10/5): - A quintessential British pub - great bar and dining areas, very good food, and a spacious , clean room.
Handily located just outside Falmouth
- Duncan (10/5): What a wonderful Inn - A true little Gem beautiful 400 yr old Inn with all the features you can imagine
Rooms modernised beautifully. Bed marvellous, shower excellent, i could go on . Best fish & chips i have had for a long time ,the fish was so fresh. Chips hand cut , the mushie peas ,i am sure would be of the same fine standard, i hate mushie peas The staff are extremely polite, friendly and very welcoming.
Next time i am down here i will book it again. A true gem .
- Antony (10/5): Great rooms - Lovely room and super comfy mattress. Very large super king bed and just super clean. Very happy
- Nick (10/5): Excellent - Very nice room with great bathroom. Dinnercand breakfast were both excellent.
- Kevin (10/5): - Great place to stay. Lovely room. Staff were excellent and very friendly and helpful. Thank you
- Adam (10/5): - Lovely place to stay staff were very friendly and food was amazing I will return soon
- Cheryl (10/5): - Had a lovely stay, staff very friendly, room very comfortable, evening meal was great too
- FAYE (10/5): Great stay - We had a wonderful stay at the Norway Inn. We arrived in the afternoon & we’re shown straight to our spacious room. The room is facing the main road however it did not disturb us at night at all, even though I am a light sleeper! The bed was exceptionally comfy. The shower was also excellent. We took advantage of the free breakfast in the morning and the vegetarian options were great (which surprised us!). The gentleman server at breakfast was extremely polite and helpful. Overall we would absolutely recommend the hotel to others and will return if we are ever in the area again.
- Christopher (10/5): - Very nice staff
- Jon (10/5): Perfect Stay - Everything was perfect. Attentive, Friendly staff. Comfortable room. Good food. On top of everything got a free charge for my electric car
- Alfreluz (10/5): Goid service - Friendly, perfect location, comfortable with good service. I stayed at Norway inn when it was difficult to get a reasonably priced accommodation close to Falmouth. Their room Is spacious comfortable and cozy. Best of all, it has air conditioning. Breakfast was included and served in the restaurant downstairs. Their pub offers delucious menu items. Perfect distance to Falmouth or to Truro.
- Paul (10/5): Excellant experience - The bar & restaurant was closed on the Friday before our arrival and we were given the option to cancel. Due to the G7 meeting this was not easily possible. We deceided to stay and the service was excellant and the bill was discounted by 35%. The room was beautiful and the breakfast excellant. We will be staying again
- michael (8/5): - Hotel room was really nice. Decor throughout was re Only criticism is the food was OK nothing special to write home about.
- George-Emil (10/5): Great stay - Beautiful old pub setting, comfortable and very clean. Good food, very nice and helpful people.
