Guest Reviews
- VIKRAM JADEJA (4/5): A dump hole on.main street. It should be a shop .For that is what they try to do.Sell everything . - Arrogant Reception Staff.
One Kuldeep found it hard to help
Always negative from the 1st day
Gave me a tiny room.I said I need a bigger one.
None available he said. Then when insisted , soon found a large room with double bed
Reluctant to extend check out time. Said hotel was fully booked.I tried to book 4 rooms just to test. And li behold accommodation was available.
TV not working.Despite numerous calls and visits it took 10 hours before TV got set up in just 1 minute.Missed my IPL GAME.
Developed Laryngitis and urgently needed taxi to go to hospital. No help for taxi
Could not help with a taxi contact.Hotel has no cars.OLA and UBER HAVE NO CARS IN Bhuj.
Bluntly said had no taxi contacts
How do overseas visitors then find their way around or a drop off to airport..Can a hotel reception behave like this?
Finally managed a taxi by searching on google and paid over the top fare for 8 km
Stayed in Fern in Anjar where all was good.
Likewise in Rajkot.
No FERN HOTELS EVER AGAIN
This experience truly bitter As above

- natalia (5/5): Edy expensive hotel for the quality of the room and food - We stay in this hotel ten years ago and was wonderfull the breakfast, the food, super clean…..this year we didn’t like anything and food was not good….. Not any healthy food in breakfast at 9.00 am not fruit, not juice
- Hadi (1/5): -
- Harshawardhan (7/5): -
- marcella (5/5): Deludente - Solo
La posizione Struttura mal tenuta e non pulita
- twofortheshow (9/5): - Nice staff, good communication Bathroom a little cramped!
- Yasmin (8/5): - Located on a highway
- Bishwarup (7/5): - Nice, neat and clean room 👌 They kill you by fixing exorbitant Taxi Fares for arranging Taxi Service for sight seeing !
Just imagine 4hrs or 40 kms for Rs.3000/- and 12 hrs or 300 kms for Rs. 5500/- and if kms exceed, it is Rs. 20/- per km extra and if hrs exceed, it is Rs. 500/- extra per hour!
THIS IS WAY HIGH THEN AVERAGE!😢
- Samarth (10/5): -
- Anjal (4/5): - The rooms had stale air smelling of cigarettes .
- Naresh (8/5): Very good -
- Bhavana (5/5): Passable - Location , cleanliness , staff Room size and design
- Prakash (4/5): Would not like to stay again - Did not have as flight was early. Lunch was not good. High price, less value
Could not get hot water in tap at 5.30 am
- Tirthesh (5/5): Passable - Suit was really spacious and bathroom was clean and adequate. Most horrible restaurant ! Absolutely zero service. We took only breakfast but we were literally angry ! There were three boys and 4 tables were occupied but still they were unable to serve even one table !!! One guy who was probably head waiter kept on continuously looking at computer screen with idiotic expressions. He was just physically present. When we asked for four cups of tea,we were served 2 cups. When we asked for two more we were served absolutely cold tea. Chef did not have any concept about cooking uttapam. Whatever you request for, will be served after 20 minutes and that too below average quality. We complained at reception to a guy who was introduced to us as manager, but he just nodded his head and took no interest in matter.
There are nice eating places very close to Fern like RasVatika etc. Do not take food at The Fern.
The Fern is supposed to be a reputable chain-but in Bhuj they are not interested in running a good unit.
- Sumit (9/5): Superb - The Hotel decent with good staff and good quality good .
- Priti (5/5): Passable - The restaurant food was ok but staff seemed to want you to just get the buffet. Shower and bathroom leave a lot to be desired , water was cold and shower so poorly designed that water was all over the bathroom. Hotel is way overpriced for what you get and for Bhuj. Would not recommend
- Sabyasachi (5/5): Overpriced hotel compared to Fern standards across India - The location. It’s right on highway. It was very overpriced compared to facilities offered. Food quality was also not Upto mark. Very sad no non veg options. Morning buffet breakfast options not at all up to the standard
- Rushali (1/5): Bad -
- Ruchit (8/5): Very good -
- Karan (5/5): Passable -
- Divyesh (7/5): Good -
- Kumar (5/5): Passable - Staff not supportive Staff behaviour. No flexibility and very rigid
- Thatheus (5/5): Passable - Not taken Rusty shower, No hotwater in the evening
- Nuthan (5/5): Passable - Bathroom is good The breakfast is one of the worst for 4 star hotel
The room size is very small
- Sandy (5/5): An odd place. - The breakfast was passable... more fresh fruit would have been good. Good bathroom. About 6 staff on reception and no one knew what to do.
When we made requests we had trouble getting the staff member out of the room having delivered the item.
We were desperate for a swim but who would do that in a pool right nest to the kitchen and dining room windows??
- Rajesh (7/5): OK - tidiness approach at the reception...
- Dilavar (1/5): Warst expirance - Nathi g Evrything
- Tunde (8/5): Very good -
- Tunde (8/5): Very good -
- Jaysinh (8/5): Value for Money - Good Service...Good Food Did not give extended checkout at half day rates for the 2nd day.
Checout Time 12
Train Time late evening 20:15
I offered to pay some extra pro rata tariff.
This facility will be an Add on for any Traveler.
Do not book room for half day but can surely book for 1& half day.
- Krunal (7/5): Good Option in budget friendly stay in BHUJ - NA NA
- Rajnikant (9/5): Superb - Nice arrangements, facilities are good.
Food was amazing.
Staff behavior is good.
Transport arrangement for local sight seeing.
Special arrangement like - Birthday party, campfire, Guitarist was too good. Overcharged. staff on call facilities to be provided. minimum 2 days needed to enjoy.
- Yoga (8/5): Very good -
- Harshal (6/5): Overall experience is good for a short stay. - The Hotel is new or renovated and thus the overall feel of the property is good. The location is good in terms of connectivity to airport and very close to highway. The food quality is fine. The food menu is limited to veg food. Also the hotel location remote and far from city. The fitness facilities could have been a bit better.
- Vanita (7/5): Average - Ok Ok
- Chandrasekar (9/5): Superb - Good amenities and comfortable bed linen. Spacious room and good food. Location not so good as it's right on the highway. Also housekeeping staff need to replace toiletries in the room- shower cap was not replaced
- Neha (7/5): good but with lot of room for improvement - the location of the hotel is on the highway which i liked as i dont have to get out of the city every time i have to go somewhere. room size was good. breakfast was passable. beds were comfortable. bed linens and towels were clean. staff was good and very cooperative. room rates are very expensive for the facilities given. i stayed here bcos it is the one and only chain of branded hotels in bhuj. bathrooms need a speacial attention. i could see that bath floors were never scrubbed and washed, only mopped, hence the grime is always there. breakfast spread was ok but tasteless food. parking space is limited.
- Mr (9/5): Superb -
- Anil (2/5): Very poor -
- Hitesh (7/5): Good and Safe for Family - I like staff politeness and good aproch. Helping in all ways. In the room, there is no FREE complimentary item. But chargeable snakes and drinks. This is not at all good thoughts. When you charge proper, then 1st day complimentary should be FREE.
- Mitesh (8/5): Very good -
- Pindoria (4/5): Disappointing -
- Anuradha (1/5): We will look for another brand hotel to stay next time - Fern Bhuj is not a good place to stay. The staff are clueless about hospitality due to lack of proper training in hotel management.
We will never stay in any Fern hotels in India The restaurant has tasteless food and even the tea is not well made. The restaurant staff look confused and unsure about what to do…..
They are so overwhelmed that they will not clean tables, bring water, bring paper towels…… even when asked to do.
- Snehanand (1/5): Just avoid staying at Hotel Fern Residency, Bhuj - Thew only good thing about this hotel was the Restaurant staff. They were very polite and tried to make up for the shortcomings everywhere else in the hotel 1) The hotel sent a message in advance to deposit an advance ahead of arrival. An advance of Rs.2500/- was duly done and screenshot shared with the GM of the hotel. He never informed the front office regarding this adavance.. Neither did their system had this advance paid information.
2) The front office girl was a clear rookie with virtually no training. She had no clue as to how to manage this advance already paid issue.
3) Finally after much explanation and after asking the GM to join in, she chraged the balance due to my credit card. Instead of charging Rs.7261/- she charged Rs.77261/- and which I realised when my bank messaged me regarding this charge.
4) The front office executive was completely clueless as to how to correct this mistake. I asked for the GM who was merely ticking off the executive. I had to intervene and tell the GM that she has no idea of what to do and that maybe he should step in. Rather reluctantly, he did so.
5) The room alloted was probably the smallest in the hotel and definitely NOT the one I had booked. The room had no luggage rack and the suitcases had to be kept on the floor. A pain!
6) The final icing on the cake was the shower knob jammed and non operative. It required a shout to get the front office to get a vacant room opened to take a shower.
7) We wanted to go to a well known handicraft showroom nearby and requersted the front office to arrange transportaion. The reply was that they can only do so the next day. I googled a local transport agency who sent a taxi in 15 mins.
8) The hotel is located in an industrial area and with no locational adavantage for a tourist.

- Mohit (10/5): Exceptional -
- J (5/5): Passable -
- Rajnish (6/5): Fern is brand and their corporate team need to assess the facility and improve the customer delight. - Location Wash room drain was badly stinking and no room freshner applied in cleaned room even.
Hotel gallery area door was found locked, what is the use ??
Room was not having tea or cofee service for 24x7
even early in the morning to get tea was 7.30 AM
Breakfast was not as per value for money.
- Pulak (4/5): Disappointing -
- Vyoma (8/5): Very good -
- Shaneel (6/5): Pleasant -
- Suresh (5/5): We felt let down by previous guests comments and marketing by booking com - Breakfast was okay Rooms were smaller than our expectations
Bathrooms could be considerably improved
- Hina (10/5): All Good. Definitely will stay again if required to go to Bhuj - Cleanliness, food quality, staff , all were amazing. All Good Improve your free wifi service. Traveling for work and every time we had to go to reception to get new slips for internet. We traveling for work need a modest speed of net.

- Himanshu (8/5): Pleasant stay - The Staff ,Room ,Location , Food. Desert items were negligible in breakfast.
Elevator was out of order
- Shital (8/5): Very good -
- Manav (6/5): Could have liked if room had good ventilation/view. All okay except that part. - Food was good and the property is on highway and easy to locate Room had cigarette smell and the allotted room didn't had any window for free air, not much with the view
- Kaladhar (5/5): not satisfied - breakfast is limited .location is on the high way .so going around is easy cost did not match facilities
- Radhika (8/5): One of the good stays in Bhuj - The hotel is clean and has basic facilities. The staff is courteous and helping. The room size is not good. The menu of buffet breakfast was a repetition on both the days.
