• Hodhan (8/5): I will be back! - I loved the location and the breakfast is diverse(I liked trying Swahili cuisine, definitely add Vitumbua on the breakfast Swahili buffet it’s a must try for people who’d like to try Swahili food). Sylvia gave good tips for gems in Mombasa, she’s really kind and warm personality The lady at the gym went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed especially towards my mother(sadly I didn’t catch her name but she was there on the 15th May early morning). Would be nice if you provided toothbrush and toothpaste like every hotel of your standard. The playlist during breakfast, please people coming on holiday must we listen to religious music? It would’ve been okay if it was once or twice but during the whole 4 days the same religious musics from 6am to 10am. Other than that I really enjoyed my stay.

• Todd (10/5): Nice hotel in the city center. A real oasis. - It’s a great facility if your visiting the city of Mombasa. The staff wonderful. The rooms great. The breakfast was excellent. They shouldn’t say that they offer currency exchange for foreign bills. The standards are ridiculous for accepting those bills. Absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional. If it’s an issue with the banks, fine, but that should be fixed.

I really enjoyed my 4-night stay at a very reasonable price, especially with breakfast included. The Indian and Pakistani food was excellent—it truly felt like home. The bathroom did not have a proper exhaust fan; instead, it had an old-style glass ventilator, which was not sufficient. Also, the bathroom is separated from the main room by transparent glass, which affects privacy, as it is possible to see inside. For us, this is an important concern due to privacy requirements.

There is live music sometimes, the staff were very willing and helpful and moved us to the far side of the hotel when we asked for an alternative. But if an alternate room hadn't been available, it would have been uncomfortably noisy in the bedrooms facing the dining area.

Let give thumbs up to one particular staff who handled us, her name is HOPE. She was nice to us and I would definitely recommend her, not only to her institution but any other employer. • Mohammed (7/5): Great central location and generally good service, but disappointing and unclear billing at the end affected my overall - I had a great experience staying here. The hotel is centrally located, so it was very convenient to move around and access different places easily. The service was excellent, and the staff were friendly and attentive. I would definitely stay here again. However, I was disappointed with the payment situation. When I arrived, I had to pay an extra amount because they didn’t have change, so I left the balance at the counter. Later, when I ordered food to my room, I clearly confirmed the food price and the additional delivery charge. Despite this, I was charged more than expected. It felt unfair, especially since there was already a balance left with them. I hope the hotel improves transparency in billing to avoid such situations in the future.

Staff were very nice, helpful and welcoming Bed was spacious Water on offer Shower did not work properly - was cold and larger shower head did not work I arrived at 4am and there was still loud noises going on
• carolyneu2022 (10/5): STOP OVER - I had a short stay over at this wonderful town hotel.My daughter and I were enroute to Zanzibar and since our flight was late afternoon, we checked in for a day use as we had just arrived very early in the morning at around 5am from Nairobi using the night train.The check in was swift and in no time, we were deep asleep. The bfast was locally infused and Gloria the waitress was charming, service with a smile.We rested a little bit and checked out.Thanks for your hospitality.

• Joshua (9/5): My stay at the hotel was enjoyed with nice meals and friendly staff - The hotel is strategically located in town, so it is easy to go shopping in an Uber, visit several beaches, and travel to and from the airport or bus station easily. The staff was also nice, but the most outstanding was Solome, the receptionist, who made us feel welcome, and Evans, a member of the entertainment group A-team, who was kind enough to take us around town and the different beaches. Thank you, Solome and Evans It was still under renovation on the top floors, but the hotel was kind to warn us and apologize in advance for the noise coming from the construction
• Frank (10/5): Tolles Hotel in Mombasa Town - Bis auf den etwas zu kleinen Pool alles: Sauberkeit, tolle Zimmer, wo alles funktionierte (TV, Wifi, warmes Wasser, AC ...), CheckIn zwei Stunden früher ohne Probleme, das gute Frühstück und natürlich das sehr nette Personal... Ich kann nichts kritisieren.
• Lisa (10/5): Wonderful place to stay! - We had a wonderful experience at Hotel Sapphire! The staff are absolutely amazing; very service-minded and hospitable. The rooms are clean, fresh, and have great AC (which is much needed here in Mombasa!). The restaurant also has a great menu. A special thank you to our waitress, Gloria, who took excellent care of us and provided outstanding service - she’s wonderful! I also want to thank Brenda, at the reception, for her excellent hospitality and Alex who insisted on helping us with our luggage and brought us fresh fruit to the hotel room. Thank you everyone for making our Mombasa stay so lovely!

Service is excellent. We arrived far in advance of the official check-in time and we could already use our room sfter waiting just a few minutes. When we were checking out both elevators went out of order and we had to carry our luggage down the stairs from the 4th floor. Not very pleasant - but may happen everywhere.

• Barbara (9/5): - Excellent breakfast.Great,friendly staff. A true test is how the staff handles something that goes wrong, but is out of their control. The elevator broke, while we were in it after our 1:30 am check in. We were trapped for about 30 minutes while the hotel employee with us tried to contact someone to get us out. We received apologies and offers for help that night. The next morning, there were no excuses, only more apologies and acceptance of responsibility. The manager met with us when we checked out, to offer her apologies along with a parting gift. It was a class act all around.

Номера комфортные, удобный матрац, подушки, чистое бельё, халаты и тапочки. тихий кондиционер. Фрукты в номер. Утром не работал лифт, пришлось с чемоданами идти по лестнице, хорошо у нас был второй этаж, а не десятый .
