Guest Reviews
- Marcin (10/5): Great place for a short stay in Naples - Location is spot on, everything in a walking distance and safe area
Balcony with amazing view
Big bed
Clean
Our host Valerio was really nice. None.
The only thing to consider is the apartment is on a 3rd floor so you need to be prepared for stairs. But it was not a surprise and the view from the balcony is amazing.
- Robin (7/5): Gute Lage, sauberkeit lässt aber zu wünschen übrig - Die Lage war super Waschbecken war verstopft. Toilettenbürste dürfte auch mal erneuert werden
- Isaac (9/5): Overall a good room to stay at and located in a walkable area close to all the restaurants. - A nice quiet room with a terrace and located by the restaurants and pizzerias. Walkable to all the center. The shower would use some renovation
- George (4/5): - Τα 80 σκαλιά για να φτασεις και το ψυγειακι δεν δούλευε επισης η πόρτα του μπάνιου δεν έκλεινε λες και είναι κοινόχρηστος ο χώρος
- Philip (9/5): -
- Guest (9/5): A calm place with perfect location for a long weekend to discover Napoli over a few days. - The location: 10 out of 10! 5 minutes away from the first Metro station, 15 minutes form the ferries to go to the islands, right in between the Spagnoli and Historical quarters.
The shared terrace was lovely with the view on Mount Vesuvio.
Very clean flat and very efficient AC (perfect to cool down in the summer heat!)
The host was kind and welcoming. Giovanni shared a lot of useful suggestions for places to visit or restaurants.
Despite being near to the busy and buzzing Centro Storico, the flat is very quiet and we slept very well! Advertised as a flat but it is really an apartment divided into rooms. Would be even lovelier if equipped with a tiny kitchen/stove top or a coffee machine to enjoy the view with an espresso!
Only downside but with limited effect on our stay, the AC started leaking with water dripping on our last day. The host did reply that they would inform the company but nothing was done about it and no-one came to check.
- giuliano (9/5): - La posizione e la riservatezza e la vista
- Jad (9/5): I stayed for 1 night, the room fit my needs very well especially that it was good value for a great location. Jeanette w - Property was comfortable for a short stay. Good value with a great location. It’s on a high floor (3rd) with no elevator
- Wright (10/5): Fantastic! - Couldn't have been happier! The flat is in an absolutely great area - quiet and safe, but right by amazing bars, restaurants, the port, the centre, the metro, and grocery shops. We were able to walk everywhere, and were not disturbed by noise in the slightest, nor did we ever feel at all unsafe. The view of Vesuvius exceeded our expectations - just beautiful. We spent every evening on the terrace with a cold glass of wine looking at the sunset. The room is simple but clean with everything you would need - a mini fridge, a hairdryer, bottle opener, cutlery and glasses, a spacious wardrobe, a clean bathroom, working airconditioning, and a comfy bed. Giovanni was super friendly and helpful, he gave us a map and a massive list of recommendations, along with easy instructions about how to get there from the airport (super easy to take the airport bus and then the metro just a couple of stops). Overall, we adored our stay. We discovered our favourite bar, Ex Salumeria, which is just the next street down - pop over in the evening for great 'choose your own ingredient' cocktails before heading from there to some incredible restaurants for dinner. The roughly 15 min walk to the port was perfect for a day trip - we popped over to Sorrento, which only takes 40 mins. The flat is on the third floor, so be prepared for some stairs - however, really not very many, and after a day of consuming nothing but pizza and pasta you'll probably be happy for it! Only other issue was that the wifi in our room didn't work that well - however, I assume this was just the room we were in and that the wifi box is in the reception. The wifi on the terrace immediately outside the room works perfectly, so very easy to just open the door and pop out there if you need it.
- ANTONOPOULOU (9/5): - The accomodation was conveniently located. The room was clean and the common terrace had a nice view of the cityscape. Jeanette was very ,very helpful providing us with information on how to get there as well as where to go,what to see etc. A very pleasant person who made us feel welcome right from the start. Many stairs to climb
- Linda (8/5): - Nice location and the view from terrace. There is an air conditioner which is much needed in this weather. There wasn’t no soap. The property needs a deep clean.
- Antonio (9/5): - Posizione eccellente
- Wooldridge (7/5): Good - Had a great welcome and info from Giovanni, lots of recommendations and in a great location. Had a problem with the shower flooding and he immediately resolved it. Also great AC! Wifi doesn’t work in the room, patio is shared which was okay but it didn’t say in the listing, not super clean the sheets had some hairs left on it.
- Antonio (9/5): Superb -
- Andreea (8/5): Very good - Location The bed maitresse was very uncomfortable. It has two big craters big as Mount Vesuvius. The sleep was very bad. It should be immediately changed.
- Evelyn (8/5): Cozy Appartment in Naples - Jeanette was super friendly. Although we arrived way to early in Naples, she was really flexible and brought us the keys of the appartment. She also gave us a recommendation to a brunch spot! The room was as described. -
- Bogdan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Picu (9/5): Cozy and comfortable room - It was clean, the bed was very comfortable, the terrace was a plus and the location was excellent. You can easily reach most of the main touristic areas and also get to any public transportation you might need. Jeanette was really helpful and nice, giving us a list with the best places to eat around Napoli. The gated entrance in the building is also a good and safe aspect of the property. Overall it was a pleasant stay. The apartment is located on the 3rd floor and can only be reached by stairs. We knew that before we arrived, but still was very tiring and challenging, especially if you also have some luggage.
- Kieran (10/5): Exceptional - Great support from Jeanette. Responded rapidly including arranging a necessary repair within hours on a weekend
- Maciej (9/5): I was really positively surprised by the view from the terrace. - The view, accessibility, good contact with the owner. Wi-Fii did not work in the room, only on the terrace. I used my own then so it was not a problem in the end.
- Ayan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Adela (10/5): Exceptional - The host was very nice and responded promptly when I needed a favor regarding the stay. The location is also superb and the terrace is lovely.
- Luis (10/5): Everything was awesome - Everything was great, the host made everything simple and easy and the place is awesome The wi-fi was a little weak inside the room, but at the balcony the wi-fi is much better
- Rahel (10/5): Exceptional - The location of the room is great. Very central, stores, cafes, bars, restaurants and the old town are close by. Nevertheless, the room and the roof terrace are exceptionally quiet. A big thank you goes out to Giovanni, he is a great host. He was very friendly and helpful. His restaurant recommendations were top notch.
- Ruby (9/5): Superb - Really nice bedroom with good aircon. Perfect location and view of vesuvius.
- Ana (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was great! The location Is perfect, everything Is near and easy to reach. The host, Giovanni was very kind and helpful, getting in touch and communication was very easy. Overall great stay and would definitely recommend!!
- Magdalena (7/5): Good - Room was comortable. Its possible to use kitchen. Bed was also ok. Vert small shower i bathroom. There is no elevator its for sure no place for older poeple to get to the room.
- Gerald (10/5): Clean, comfortable and great location! -
- James (7/5): Had a lovely stay, enjoyed the little balcony area. - The location was excellent; right in the Historical area of the City. Clean room and we were escorted to the property by our host; which was a big bonus because the public phone-data signal in the city centre is rubbish and I had difficulty using Google Maps! Our host also spent time with us, kindly giving us plenty of information on attractions and places to eat locally. The Shower unit was very small; I am a tall person and could have done with a larger shower tray size. There were no tea making facilities available to us; no kettle. We had brought our own teabags, like every normal English person, but ended up having a totally tea-less weekend stay. (We took all our teabags back home with us!)
- Davide (7/5): Good - Staff and location Apartment and facility
- Roland (6/5): Pleasant - the location of the appartment is perfect. Everything in Napels centre is on walking distance. Nice breakfast place round the corner The bathroom is very small
- Nicolette (8/5): Nice room located within walking distance from centre and metro. - It was a bedroom and ensuite located at the third floor of an old palazzo. Very clean and owners very helpful. There is also a nice terrace overlooking the port. Property within walking distance to the port, metro and historical centre. No lift.
- Jo (8/5): Absolutely loved Napoli, and would definitely recommend this accommodation. Paola was excellent host - Paola gave us very clear directions on where to meet her on the street. It was then much easier for her to direct us to the room. Paola was very friendly and welcoming, and gave very clear guidance regarding the room, and how to find our way around Napoli. She is very passionate about her city! We found the room and the verandah very comfortable. The room, bathroom, and shared kitchen area were very clean. Being in the historic centre, the room is very accessible to all that Napoli has to offer. You feel like you are in an authentic part of town, not herded into a touristy area. People had told us to be very wary of Napoli, and watch out for pickpockets. To our surprise, we felt very comfortable and safe in Napoli (apart from the risk you take in crossing the roads - very few motorists appear to obey any sort of rules!). We were also told that Napoli was very dirty, but we did not find this to be the case. Yes, there is graffiti on the buildings, which just adds to the amazing character of this city, but the central city area was definitely clean (minimal litter, and bins regularly emptied). You have to climb up 3 storeys of stairs, but we knew to expect that, and I am sure that is part of why the room is such very good value for money. There was a lack of cups, wine glasses, and crockery in the kitchen area.
- Tuija (9/5): Superb - The location was absolutely perfect: a very central location in Centro Historico, yet completely quiet in the night. Maybe the ventilation in the room could have been a bit better - otherwise, everything was perfect!
- Martina (7/5): Good - Location Too many stairs to reach the room. The walls are very thin so you can hear other people conversation from the next room.
- Charlot (9/5): It is a good place to stay in Naples for some days - Location is excellent, bed is good, and terrasse is a plus.
- Mary (1/5): A very bad experience - I did not like anything about the accommodation except for the young girl who welcomed me who was very pleasant and tried to be helpful when I complained about being given the wrong room and the room being constantly full of cigarette smoke. What could have been better was following through when I complained about the room and enforcing the no smoking policy that is listed as one of the rules. It was obvious this was totally ignored as evidenced by the dirty ashtrays on the two tables on the small terrace. The steep dark stairs made the entry less than welcoming, and while the view to Mt Vesuvius was an impressive one, the foreground littered with dead television aerials did not fill your heart with joy.
- אנה (7/5): Good - good location
nice view from terrace there is no heating in the shower room
- Alex (10/5): Clean and comfortable place in the heart of Naples - This please literally saved our holiday! We moved here after leaving a shockingly noisy property in Chiaia and it felt like a huge relief. The place is very quiet, sparkling clean, good shower, very comfortable bed and good Wi-Fi. Cinzia, the host, was super helpful and friendly and offered delicious breakfast at a nearby café every morning. Bonus point: there is a cute communal terrace from which you can admire mount Vesuvius and the ships coming into the port. We spent the evenings sitting there waiting for the sunset.
- Sue (9/5): Fell in love with Naples - The location was brilliant. Just on the edge of the old city. Don't be put off by the graffiti - we learned to love it. The host was great in warning us about the three flights of stairs (75 - we counted). The bathroom was quite small which was the only downside. Having an outside seating area (shared) was great. We caught buses very easily down to the station so going to Pompeii was easy. We also enjoyed the breakfast once we had worked out where the cafe was. Great coffee.
- Christina (9/5): Superb -
- Rebecca (8/5): Very good -
- Raquel (7/5): Cosy bedroom in the pure centro histórico. - the apartment is nice, well situated and the terrace is awesome.
- Anna (8/5): Very good -
