GIANNI (8/5): Breve gita - Bagno grande, ottima pulizia, personale super gentile, ottima colazione molto ricca. Possibilità di parcheggio auto interno. Il pavimento della stanza è un po'... come dire... sembra "elastico" e quando si cammina vibrano anche le ante degli armadi. Questo capita anche se sono gli ospiti delle altre camere a muoversi nelle loro stanze. Bisogna avere il piede leggero :-)
Thomas (9/5): - Das Hotel liegt zentral im Dorf. Alles ist ordentlich und sauber. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer war mit allem ausgestattet was gebraucht wurde. Wir haben sehr gut geschlafen. Das Frühstück war gut und lecker. Im Hotel wird nicht mehr gekocht, aber es gibt nur ein paar Meter weiter ein gutes Restaurant.

Daniel (9/5): Sehr angenehm - Einfaches, aber sehr sauberes Hotel zu einem günstigen Preis. Das Frühstück ist für diese Preisklasse gigantisch. Es gibt praktisch alles, was das Herz begehrt, also kein bescheidenes "italienisches" Frühstück. Der Angestellte war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Lage im Dorfkern ist sehr gut und ruhig. Ein Restaurant fürs Abendessen ist in unmittelbarer Nähe. Ebenso ist Novaggio günstig gelegen für Ausflüge sowohl an den Luganersee als auch an den Lago Maggiore (man fährt quasi über den Hügel bis nach Luino). Das Zimmer ist einfach ausgestattet, kein TV aber dafür ein Kühlschrank, sehr bequemes Bett, grosszügiges Bad, kleiner Balkon. Das Haus hat keinen Lift, aber das kann man bei den bescheidenen Platzverhältnissen in älteren Tessinerhäusern auch nicht erwarten.

Breakfast was incredible, simple but had everything you could want. Dining was across the street in a very nice restaurant. Staff was so very kind. Loved it!

Tip: vraag om het ticino ticket, deze is gratis, waarmee je gratis met bus en trein door heel ticino kan reizen. de kaart geeft ook kortingen

Ronald (3/5): If I would have known this before.... - Honestly, the cappuccino was great, the best we had during our travel. But that was all. The owner was kind, but our stay very disappointing. First of all we were not informed before that there was some kind of street party, so we could not reach the hotel by car, we tried but got stuck in one way traffic streets with only 10cm space left and right of the car... Total lack of communication. So it took us in the end an hour to finally get in the hotel. There was no elevator so we had to carry our luggage to the third floor through small corridor steps. The room was seldom in its simplicity, only beds and that's all. No TV, no safe, no minibar, no table, no airco, nothing... So I would not recommend this one for a longer stay. This was the most disappointing stay (and we have had a lot, already 6 on this travel) in any hotel I can remember.

Barbara (7/5): Good - The restaurant attached to the actual building where our apartment was, La Posta, rather than in the original hotel, Belcantone. The food was very good, very friendly and capable staff and very reasonably priced. Worth going there for the restaurant! The two room apartment was spacious, however the kitchen could do with some extra basic items. Being at the main intersection of the small village there was a bit of traffic noise but only early in the morning and early evening. The church bells begin at 7am but do stop at 10pm! We didn't stay in the main hotel building and only had breakfast there on the last day, which was fairly basic. As one of the beds is in the large living room, there was no sofa, but there was a dining table and chairs.

Jonathan (8/5): A very good overnight stop with friendly staff and good food. - We were looking for a convenient stop on a long journey and were pleased to find this property in a charming village near Lugano. The staff were helpful and friendly, the accommodation was basic bur comfortable and the food was very good value. Ideally it would have helped to have air-conditioning because it was exceptionally hot but no complaints.
