- Kerstin (7/5): Nettes Hotel, was mehr Service bieten könnte - Die Lage vom Hotel am Rande der City Barmen ist okay, im nahegelegenen Parkhaus kann man parken. Leider gibt es am Wochenende kein Frühstück, auch wird keine Alternative angeboten. Das ist ein großer Nachteil. Zudem hat sich das Hotel bei der Berechnung des Zimmerpreises vertan und hat unseren Gästen eine Erinnerung über € 0,58 ins Zimmer gelegt. Ohne Worte sowas.

- Rolf-Peter (8/5): Es hat schon seinen besonderen Charme, dort zu residieren. Jedenfalls immer ein guter Tipp! - Mir gefällt jedenfalls immer wieder die unmittelbare Nähe zu meinem Büro. So kann ich wirklich entspannt meinen Dienst aufnehmen und bin bereits nach kurzem Weg wieder in der Unterkunft. Einkaufen und alles für den tägl. Bedarf ist fußläufig in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen. Die Lage am Mühlenweg hat nun einmal leider ein erhöhtes Verkehrsaufkommen zur Folge, sodass es besser ist, zum frühen Morgen das Fenster zu schließen. Allerdings entfällt diese Kritik je nach Zimmer. Ich hatte auch bereits Zimmer zur abgewandten Seite, dann entfiel selbst das. Letztlich gute zentrumsnahe Unterkunft, allerdings nicht so ganz "billig"!

- Carmen (10/5): Beste Location, um in Wuppertal zu sein - Einfach alles , Ausstattung grandios , alles sauber , Badezimmer blitzblank, neu , Betten super , sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Zimmer mit Namen berühmter Wuppertaler ( Pina Bausch, Johannes Rau, Friedrich Engels ..) Lage genial. Kaffeemaschine und Tee inklusive , auch Getränke … waren schon viel unterwegs , aber das toppt wirklich alles, was wir in dieser Preisklasse bekommen haben 👍 Im Appartement 11 war der kleine Kühlschrank etwas laut.. das ist aber nur jammern auf höchstem Niveau
- gianluca (8/5): Bell’hotel im un edificio storico in centro a Wuppertal - Hotel situato a poca distanza dal teatro dell’opera in un edificio storico affascinante ben ristrutturato di recente. Camera comoda, bagno pulito. Istruzioni per l’arrivo e la partenza molto chiare. Abbiamo soggiornato una sola notte da sabato a domenica e purtroppo nei fine settimana non c’è nessuno alla reception e la colazione non è disponibile.
- Katrin (10/5): Für unsere kurze Wuppertal-Städtereise war dieses Hotel absolut perfekt. - Die Unterkunft liegt fussläufig vom Opernhaus/Pina Bausch Tanztheater in einer ruhigen Straße. Die Lage war für mich perfekt. Eine Schwebebahnstation ist ebenfalls zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Die Zimmer sind groß und gut ausgestattet. Das Bett und die Bettwaren waren sehr angenehm und bequem. Wasserkocher, Kaffeemaschine, Tee und Kaffee sowie Mineralwasser standen zur Verfügung. Der kontaktlose Check-in und Check-our Vorgang war absolut unproblematisch. Die Mitarbeiter waren per Mail und auch am Telefon im Vorfeld sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Frühstücksservice hörte sich sehr schön an. Diesen haben wir allerdings nicht selbst genutzt. Der Fernseher in Zimmer 2 ist etwas ungünstig angebracht.

- maroeska (8/5): goede prijs kwaliteit - mooie rustige kamer, de locatie is foed, parking voor de auto 30 meter verderop, wel betaald maar niet heel duur. incheck gaat in eenpand er naast, de tijden dat er iemand aanwezig is, zijn beperkt. dat is niet heel erg, je kunt het nummer xdat oogegeven is in de app bellen. en dan praat een vriendelijke mevrouw je naar binnen via codes zodat je de sleutel kunt pakken

- Daniela (10/5): Außergewöhnlich und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet - Das außergewöhnliche Ambiente; das Hotel wurde in liebevoller Arbeit saniert und trotzdem blieb das nostalgische Flair erhalten. Die Zimmerausstattung war klasse mit bequemen Betten und modernem Badezimmer. Die Küchenzeile war praktisch mit kleinem Kühlschrank, Kaffeemaschine, Wasserkocher, Geschirr und Besteck. Das separat gebuchte Frühstück für 18 Euro p. P. war sehr ansprechend auf Etagèren angerichtet und bot für jeden Geschmack etwas. Das Hotel ist zentral im Wuppertaler Stadtteil Barmen gelegen; die Fußgängerzone ist fußläufig zu erreichen.

- Sylvia (9/5): - Die Betten waren ein Traum. Trotz zentraler Lage war es nachts ruhig. Es war sehr sauber. Das Bad war sehr sauber und ausreichend groß. Ich hätte mir ein Kleiderhaken oder Garderobe gewünscht. Aber es hat genug Platz im Schrank gegeben.

Frühstück gab es heute am Heiligabend nicht, dafür aber eine liebevoll ausgestattete Tüte mit Piccolo und Leckereien. Einfach schön und liebenswert! Und Kaffeekocher auf dem Zimmer. Perfekt. Ich komme gerne wieder! Ein Schminckspiegel mit Vergrößerungsglas wäre schön!! Aber den bringe ich nächstes Mal mit!
- Peter (10/5): Ein tolles Hotel für einen Ausflug ins Bergische Land - Das Fachwerk Hotel ist ein Wuppertaler Kleinod. Ein kleines Ensemble mitten in Barmen – sehr zentral, aber dennoch extrem leise. Modern eingerichtete, hübsche Zimmer, gutes Frühstück und unglaublich sympathisches Personal.

- Oliver (8/5): Gut für einen kurzen Aufenthalt. Am Wochenende gibt es kein Frühstück, aber das wussten wir vorher schon. - Es hat alles geklappt, so wie es angekündigt war.
- Sabine (8/5): - Die Einrichtung ist frisch saniert, freundlich eingerichtet und sauber. Checkin per Code war gut beschrieben und einfach. Die Fenster im Erdgeschoss-Zimmer sind alle mit Milchglasfolie verklebt und von Jalousien bedeckt, weil sonst die Gäste in den Zimmern ringsum direkt ins Bett sehen könnten. Die äußerst weichen Matratzen haben Kuhlen, im Bad gibt es keine Steckdose. Am Wochenende keine Rezeption, kein Frühstück, niemand ansprechbar. Das ist nicht das, was man erwartet, wenn man ein HOTEL bucht. Der Preis von 165 € (und noch wesentlich mehr) ist unangemessen hoch.

- Zsombor (8/5): Very good - It's a pretty lovely boutique-style hotel. The room had a nice kitchen and a nice large bathroom. The interior was very cosy. The check-in was straightforward. The bed was a bit uncomfortable, and it was a pity that they didn't serve breakfast on the weekends.

- Sandor (8/5): visit - Nice room, good location The written communication is too confusing. In fact it is not so easy to find the door and entering the code. The communication on access I received was supplemented by extensive disagreement extensive message on local tax. Oh, really? Why this hotel charge its total price in the same time as using the public services?? Isn't it justified? Why to complain for customers?
- Daria (4/5): The description on booking is deceiving and does not correspond the reality of the hote - The room was very clean 1. The property states, at least here, on booking that they feature spa and an open pool, with the open pool being free of charge. In reality, after you have already booked and payed, they send you an email, which states that the spa (with the pool being a part of it, so you can’t access it without accessing the pool) has to be booked separately, which in my case was already too late, since everything was booked already. Moreover, I could not cancel the reservation because of the booking policies. 2. When I brought it up with the stuff, we ended up arguing for at least 40 minutes about how is it my fault that I didn’t know about the spa, and how I did not read the email, which again, I’d like to emphasize, would not change anything since i won’t be able to change of cancel my reservation due to booking. In the end they gave me a free stay in spa for 1,5 hours, assumed that this solves the issue, although, from the description of the hotel I have reasonably assumed that I will have the access to the pool and sauna at all time being a resident of the hotel which features spa, as indicated. Which in all the other situations means that the spa is on the territory of the hotel and can be accessible but guests, unless clearly stated otherwise in advance, ie before the booking and payment is already completed. I asked for the refund but, of course, that was not possible. 3. In the description of room on booking the photos attached do not correspond the reality of rooms, it looks like they have attached photos of all rooms to the specific rooms which results in having at least 3 different room layouts and sizes attached to one room description, which in turn provides unrealistic expectations.

- Chris (10/5): Would definitely return there again. - Staff is very friendly, breakfast is superb, and the building is updated so is in great condition while maintaining the character of its history. Location is not the best part of town, but it’s a 7 minute walk to the suspended train so easy access to the main city destinations. It’s still close to restaurants and shopping, however.
