Skip (7/5): Excellent Location Request first floor room - Location and owner was very helpful. As my wife was not able to climb stairs once there were no elevators the owner went out of his way to find us a location with first floor accommodations. No elevators to 2nd and 3rd floors. I should have paid more attention to this as my wife had issues climbing stairs from foot surgery.

He shared his knowledge of the area & his desire to guide us to special sights was a wonderful plus. The late afternoon wine get together was a special treat. Muffins for the road please. It would have been extra nice to grab a treat for our hikes! Truly, everything was very nice.

We were able to walk to town and the bonus was having a Catholic Church right across the street to attend daily mass while we were there! It was nice to get to know the others that were staying there at the happy hour that was provided! We would definitely stay there again!!

Yuonhee (5/5): Would not stay there again. - Location was nice. Of all the places I’ve stayed in my years of travel, that was hands down the worst bed I’ve slept on. It was as if the springs were going thru the bed. And every time you sat or moved on the bed it squeaked and made such a loud annoying noise. As someone mentioned before, the room decor was not matching the Inn decor. I felt like I was sleeping in a thrift shop. Wire hangers, cheap bookcase…etc. For the price I paid I expected better accommodations. Also the meals were not a fancy bed & breakfast style. Presentation was lacking & food was mediocre. I think maybe the owner has too many other businesses that need his attention & this inn is desperately needing a reassessment of its needs. Make sure if you do book, pay attention to what floor you room is located. There are 3 floors.

Breakfast was delicious. Wine and cheese with other guests in the evening was fun. Parking on property was great, you can easily walk anywhere in town. Don’t sleep on this one. It’s better than the other one you are considering.

The Inn was filled with antiques and collectables, a pleasure to be in. In addition, there was 24x7 coffee, water, and open areas. Plenty of on-premises parking as well. We will certainly stay there again! Nothing I can think of.

Andy was very helpful with planning our day trips to the park and anything else that we needed. It was also really nice to have a TV that was a streaming device so that we could watch football in our room.

Debra (10/5): Wonderful stay in the beautiful Northeast! - Great location close to downtown but far enough away to be quiet. Quick access to Arcadia Park. Andy was a great host who was on property every morning to advise on things to do in the area and give a little history of the Inn.
Gordon (10/5): Very nice, the other guests made it special! - We really enjoyed sitting across the breakfast table with other guests and talking about what they had done and enjoyed the most. It helped us get the most out of our visits to the park, our sunset cruise and our restaurant selections.

Diane (10/5): Great location, fantastic host, nicely appointed historical inn. - The innkeeper (Lane) was fantastic. She was professional and helpful. The breakfast was also very good. The rooms are nicely appointed with antiques but modern bathroom amenities to make the stay comfortable but also cozy. There was no additional seating in our room except for the weird lounger at the end of the bed. It was antique but not really comfortable. Of course, we weren't really expecting to stay in our room most of a day riding out a tropical storm. I had to find something to write here - so lame as it is, that is my only complaint.

philip (10/5): Wonderful Inn - Charming inn close to “downtown” Bar Harbor and Acadia. No need to search for a place to park since the Inn is so close to many restaurants and shops. Our room was spacious and we enjoyed the smart TV which allowed us to watch a wide variety of streaming services. Wish more hotels and Inns would have this. Breakfast was great with a different selection each day and there were always options for people with food allergies. We would definitely stay again if we’re in the area

Great location, within walking distance of the Town Center. The breakfast each day were delicious! The stairs going to the third floor were rather steep for a 75 year old, but we managed.

Melissa (10/5): Charming b&b with everything you need - This was our first stay at a b&b. Andrew & the staff set the bar so high I don’t know if we’d ever be able to stay elsewhere. The property is stunning, impeccably maintained, our room was very well appointed & HUGE!! Very walkable to all the local restaurants & shopping. Breakfast was delicious with a nice variety of offerings. Really a fantastic stay. Wouldn’t change a thing.
