Location is good, being outside the busy town centre but close enough for short drive to grocery store and other services. Also, for a treat, I would recommend having the "set menue" dinner, which is VERY generous and includes excellent salad bar! Noting my booking was "last minute", my particular room was not the best. Comfortable and clean, but without the best view.

You can eat on site and enjoy the spa, but know that timing for dinner and the spa are quite regimented. Also, the whirlpool is cold, which may be common in the area, but a surprise to North Americans! Thankfully the steam room and sauna are a nice warm up.

- Tommi (9/5): A short trip for hiking - Nice isolated location outside cities (whether it is a good thing or a bad thing depends on your personal interests). Great mountain view and excellent hiking paths within 10 km driving distance. Friendly service. The restaurant was closed when we arrived, but they served us one drink. Morning breakfast was quite simple (e.g. no hot food), but they provided us eggs upon request. Nevertheless, the breakfast tasted very good.
