• Zoltán Csongor (9/5): Nice place to stay there a few days - We really liked the location — the road to the place is a bit narrow, but that’s no surprise in Italy — and we loved the atmosphere. The interior is decorated with a lot of old stuff, which we really liked. Oh, and there were also some goats. Unfortunately, they weren’t in a place where guests could easily pet or cuddle them. But the owner was very kind and showed them to us. The restaurant or grocery store is a bit far away, and the breakfast was a bit weak.

From the paintings on the walls, thoughtful indoor and outdoor spaces and guides to offer something immersive to your stay such as walking forest trails, waterfalls and hand drawn explanations of how they make chestnut flour. On top, their amazing hand made foods made me truly appreciate the richness the land has to offer! Their goats and chickens also made for nice companions to share the morning with! Thank you and I will be back :)

Sous les conseils de notre hôte nous avons pu nous restaurer le soir en empruntant un sentier à pied qui est certes escarpé mais faisable en famille (enfant de 3 ans ) et nous a mené vers un beau hameau ayant un point de vue exceptionnel.

Tohle je přesně ten typ ubytování který chcete zažít, když hledáte něco, co má kouzlo místa ve kterém se nachází. Cítíte v tom jak majitelé to místo s láskou opečovávají. Lokální bohatá snídaně, hezké pokojíčky, čisto.

I stayed here for only one night but it was so lovely, a great location for beautiful hikes and walks and only an hour walk from Porretta Terme station. The hosts are so kind and welcoming and the breakfast was locally sourced and so filling. Would recommend :)

The rooms are beautifully designed and perfectly clean, the location is absolutely stunning with breathtaking views, and the breakfast was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was the warmth and kindness of the hosts – they made us feel completely at home from the moment we arrived. A truly special place that I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone. I only wish we could have stayed longer! /

They even have a living room with a fireplace for everyone to hang out. They also sell the products they grow/make and they are delicious! You can easily drive to Bologna or Firenze the location is perfectly in the middle.

• Patrick (10/5): Absolutely wonderful stay - The room was perfectly clean, and had everything we needed. We loved the little spot in front of the house where we had a nice little snack in the afternoon and our breakfast, served by the really lovely host Marta. We really want to emphasize how nice Marta had been during our stay. She brought us home-grown vegetables, cheese, salami and some other homemade stuff for a snack. Moreover she was always available and provided us with some good tips and we also had a nice chat. All in all, everything was absolutely perfect and we can only recommend Marta & Daniele and their lovely house. We definitely would stay there again if we ever come to this area again. -

• Martin (8/5): Very pleasant stay at a great farmhouse B&B run by the couple who lives there. - This is a very nice farmhouse B&B up in the mountains with good rooms and a good breakfast. We took a two hour hike from the house up to a hill town and back. The views were spectacular. The drive to the B&B involves several miles of very winding road including some single lane road near the B&B. This can be a little challenging, especially at night, and you must drive to go anywhere including dinner.

The location is cosy and lovely, with a beautiful view, and it's also a strategic point to start different trekkings. • Shannon (10/5): - The property is very beautiful. The room was just as pictured and VERY clean. I believe it is family run and the people who run the B and B are very professional and friendly but also private (I barely saw them but they are always available for questions and advice). The breakfast offered is delicious and by far the best breakfast I have been offered in Italy. They are chestnut farmers and include a little chestnut treat (pancakes, muffins, honey etc.) There was fresh fruit!!! Yogurt, juice, cafe etc. All sorts of yumminess!!! This is a lovely, well run, quiet property in a beautiful scenic section of Italy and very close to the perfect little Italian city!!!
