- Glyn (10/5): The Lao Poet - the best thing about our stay in Vientiane - Great location, decor, bedrooms, roof top bar and pool, à la carte breakfast and exceptional staff. An ATM at the airport ate my credit card when we arrived and the staff moved heaven and earth to ensure it was recovered the next morning. Highly recommend the Lao Poet as a base to explore Vientiane, close to the Mekong River and the main tourist attractions. Nothing.

Location near Mekong River, restaurants, and night markets was great. There was no regular TV, you had to bring a thumb drive to watch TV. I get my news via the internet and I am mostly a reader so this was not a big issue,

- Peter Michael (9/5): Zentral gelegenes und trotzdem ruhiges Hotel! - Sehr zentral gelegen. In der Nacht sehr ruhig. Betten gut. Alles sauber. Stylische Einrichtung, aber nicht immer praktisch. Pool eignet sich gut zum Schwimmen. Das heiße Wasser ist sehr gut mit starkem Wasserdruck. Kein Teppich, sondern guter Steinfußboden. Die Einrichtung ist in Teilen unpraktisch. Es gibt einen Schrank, aber keine Fächer um etwas einzuräumen. Der Wasserkocher steht im Schrank. Man sucht einen Stromanschluss, den man auch findet. Aber dort ist kaum Platz für den Wasserkocher. Die Beleuchtung ist insgesamt zu schwach, vor allem auch in Bad. Statt Wanne wäre eine Dusche besser. So ist das Bad trotz Duschvorhang nach dem Duschen nass. Die Bettbeleuchtung ist zumindest interessant… die Holzlamellen an den Fenstern verdunkeln das Licht. Es fehlt ein zusätzlich Vorhang, der das Schlafzimmer auch nach Sonnenaufgang abdunkelt. Fazit: alles nett aber wenig durchdacht!
- karine (9/5): Excellent emplacement pour cet hôtel à la décoration pleine de charme ++++++++++ - Excellent emplacement pour cet hôtel à la décoration pleine de charme ++++++++++ vous rejoignez facilement a pieds les différents marchés de nuit , les restaurants , les bars , les roofftop , le mékong , vraiment beaucoup de choses accessibles rapidement , pas mal de temples à proximité immédiate pour les temples ou autres lieux a visiter qui sont plus éloignés, l 'hotel nous a proposé un tuk tuk pour faire le tour , c'était trés pratique le chauffeur nous attendait à chaque site , nous avons pu voir le maximum de choses la décoration est particulièrement charmante dans les chambres , les parties communes , au niveau de l' accueil c'est vraiment trés beau hôtel calme , dans une petite ruelle en plein centre , nous étions au 5eme nous n'avons pas eu de réelles nuisances sonores la piscine en rooftop est vraiment trés sympa mais difficile de descendre et de remonter dans l 'eau , il faudrait prévoir une marche en plus ou une échelle ou rambarde. elle est au soleil jusque en début d'après-midi midi , à l ombre ensuite . Il y a aussi un bar lounge le soir , le bar Madame pour les adeptes de bons cocktails Il ya un spa mais nous ne l avons pas testé Vientiane est une ville qui bouge et où les visites et activités sont finalement nombreuses , ne ratez pas le nouveau musée d 'art ouvert en 2025 , assez éloigné de la ville mais somptueux , immense , incroyable , un vrai coup de coeur Prévoir un brumisateur au niveau des transats au niveau de la piscine , il faisait trés chaud lors de notre séjour et il manquait d'air et de ventilateur les oreillers dans la chambre étaient trop durs nous avions une suite donc bcp d 'espace mais au final peu de rangements pratiques , mettre une douche a la place de la baignoire qui est trés haute et un endroit ou faire sécher les serviettes petit déjeuner : les serveuses ont l air perdu quand on leur pose une question, elle n 'explique pas le principe du petit déjeuner par exemple , vous avez la liste des oeufs mais elle ne demande pas si vous voulez du bacon , un autre accompagnement ..donc si vous ne pensez pas à demander vous aurez un oeuf et c'est tout .le jus de fuit du matin uniquement jus orange ca manque de diversité, dans tous les autres hôtels de notre séjour nous avions une variété de jus de fruits frais ( mangue , ananas, passion ) nous avons manger une fois sur place le midi , le restaurant est au niveau de l 'accueil , trés belle déco , menu assez varié dommage de manger enfermer par contre il y aune salle de resto au niveau du rooftop mais non ouverte pour le petit dej ni pour le lunch , c'est dommage ca serait plus sympa

- Drago Rashev (9/5): Comfy Hotel with a Very Nice Rooftop Pool at the Heart of Downtown - very nice infinity pool at the rooftop, with a few loungers and a bar nearby; there's another (speakeasy) bar at the rooftop area as well (opens in the evening and is externally owned); very nice design to the hotel and rooms; helpful and expedient staff; great location at the heart of downtown the wifi was either terrible or not working; my room did not have much of a view but I was on floor 4, facing another building. Perhaps the higher floors may offer some views; the bathroom had one of those sliding doors which doesn't quite lock in - not sure why you'd use this type of door on a bathroom...

L'obligation de régler l'hôtel en dollars, que je n'avais pas, et la transformation de la facture en 1 dollar est égal à 1 euro. J'ai trouvé qu'entre l'hôtel et les tuk-tuk, on m'avait prise pour un porte-monnaie ambulant, à Vientiane en particulier!

- GUILLAUME (9/5): Bel hôtel bien placé - Très belle chambre, personnel gentil, super petit déjeuner. Emplacement central, pas mal de petits restos autour. Accès bus navette aéroport à 200 m. Le wifi est très faible dans les chambres, voire quasi inexistant à certaines heures. Il faut aller à la piscine ou à la réception pour l'avoir.

- Sarah (8/5): - Die Lage und der Pool waren toll. Das Frühstück war auch sehr lecker. Vom Zimmer in der Hotelkategorie hatten wir mehr erwartet aber im Großen und Ganzen waren wir zufrieden.
- Jan (8/5): Kurzurlaub in einem tollen Cityhotel mit kleinen Mängeln - Die Lage ist ruhig und um die Ecke findet der Trubel statt. Das modere Hotel hat ein wunderbares Frühstück a la Carte! Unbedingt mit buchen. Das Personal ist toll! Mein Fenster war nicht dicht und die Aircondition bläst in der kleinsten Stufe wie ein Triebwerk.

- Susan (8/5): Comfortable hotel in a great location with a spectacular roof top pool - The roof top infinity pool was spectacular and our room very comfortable. The decor is quirky but we liked it. Breakfast was good. The staff were attentive and helpful. The rooftop pool needs more loungers on the top deck. The shower tap in our bathroom was temperamental so the temperature was a bit hit and miss.

- bernard (7/5): - La gentillesse et l'efficacité du personnel, ce qui est souvent la règle au Laos. L'emplacement est bon. Le rapport qualité prix, après avoir visité plusieurs établissements aux alentours, le tarif est 30% trop élevé pour la prestation. Hotel bruyant intérieur comme extérieur. Les portes et fenêtres ne sont pas étanches au bruit. Chambre sur cour, il y a un immeuble en construction à 10 mètres des fenêtres, certainement pour quelques mois des 7:00 am 7jour/7.. Chambres sur rue, bruyantes, + 1 soirée musicale rock juste en face de l'hôtel 1 fois par semaine jusqu'à minuit. Pas de lounge a proprement parler, au roof top utilisé dés 17h30 comme restaurant et rdc dressé pour le petit déjeuner. La terrasse de la piscine est trop petite pour + de 45 chambres avec seulement 8 bains de soleil et pas de parasols. Le petit déjeuner 'a la carte' manque de variété au bout du 3 ème jour. Soit œuf sous toutes ses formes soit brioche poilée. 1 proposition du jour serait bienvenue Voilà, déçu par mon choix

- Philip (9/5): Highly recommend - just avoid the take away breakfast - Fantastic small quirky hotel. We had a suite which was amazing. Roof top pool was wonderful. Amazing cocktail bar. Only thing which was a negative my husband got food poisoning from the egg sandwich they gave us for a take-away breakfast. Everything else was 10/10.

- Candice (10/5): - Lovely hotel. Comfortable and clean. Design is inviting and fun. Breakfast was great. Could have sat for hours in the restaurant; it was comfortable and inviting. Pool area is small but nice. My room was rather dark. There wasn't much natural light due to the direction it faced. The opposite side of the hall had beautiful natural light in the morning.

Très bien placé également. Une déco très cosy dans les couleurs et l’ambiance du film « in the mood for love ». Et l’espace piscine est très agréable. Les chambres sont un peu sombres et l’eau est tiède, en tout cas tout juste assez chaude pour être bien dans la douche.
