• Marlies (10/5): - Die Aussicht ist atemberaubend. Die Betten sehr bequem. Das Appartement stylisch und perfekt eingerichtet. Wendy und Mike kümmern sich um alles und sind jederzeit verfügbar und helfen, wo sie nur können. Das Frühstück ist mega. Dankeschön für eine wunderbare Zeit. Da gibt es nichts. Alles perfekt :)

• Jork (10/5): War der Hammer - eine der TOP 3 Unterkünfte auf unserer Reise! - Traumhafte Lage, super ausgestattet mit großzügigem Wohnbereich und schönen Schlafzimmern, riesiger Terrasse und supernetten Vermietern. Alles sauber und gepflegt. Ab meisten hervorzuheben ist sicher der tolle Rundum-Blick über die Bay of Islands. Das Haus liegt rund 50 Meter oberhalb des Wassers. Man beobachtet den Bootsverkehr und die kleine Fähre nach Okiato. Nach Paihia sind es nur etwa 15 Autominuten. Frühstück auf Bestellung steht dann im Kühlschrank, frisches Brot wird morgens gebracht. Grill ist vorhanden. Über einen kleinen Weg kommt man in eine idyllische Bucht. Einfach genial. nichts.

• Stefanie (10/5): We would like to give an 11 - perfect match! - It is an awesome appartement combined with a 5 Star Hotel service provided by Wendy, the very kind and helpful host. Wonderful view from the big terrace to the Bay of Islands. Excellent daily breakfast provided, including freshly baked bread/croissants, fesh fruits and yoghurt every morning. Modern kitchen with a Nespresso machine. Nespresso, Tea, Native olive oil, Balsamico vinegar included. Even daily cleaning done. Nothing to mention.

We were extremely lucky to get fresh baked bread the first morning and the second morning we got home made crossaints. Both mornings we had fresh fruit, yoghurt and condiments. Such an awesome place to end our Honeymoon and 3.5 week trip around New Zealand. Everything was perfect, there isn't one thing that we would change.

Tastefully decorated and the breakfasts with freshly cooked bread were a lovely touch. We even ordered food in for dinner on our final night as we wanted to make the most of the views.

The view is spectacular. The hosts were very friendly and gave lots of good tips. Minor points: the lights in front of the bathroom mirror could be improved. The matresses seemed a bit worn out.

• Pam (9/5): Excellent and relaxing and made to feel very welcome. Would definitely return and recommend. - Breakfast was available each morning along with fresh bread delivered to the door. A good choice of fruit, pottles of yoghurt and spreads. Fresh milk was provided and replaced as need. Views across Opua were amazing. Lots of opportunity for walks and other activities. The morning sun was lovely but the apartment we stayed in missed the evening sun. which would have been nice. This was a minor issue and did not impact the enjoyment of our stay. I think a vehicle is a definite must if you want to travel to different places.
