• Andrew (8/5): Nice place to stay in a quiet location but a bit far from the centre. - Breakfast was good. Would have been better with fruit and yoghurt. No fruit and yogurt for breakfast. It was a bit far from the centre (3 kilometres).

• Robert (9/5): Always a pleasure to stay at The Residence! - The staff is great. I take the night train from Bangkok, so the 24/7 front desk is helpful. The room is quiet. Bed is good, hot water is good, aircon is good, WiFi is good. There is a refrigerator. Free water. (I would comment on the breakfast, but I can't, because I don't get up that early.) The location -- near Khon Kaen hospital -- is not in the center of the city, but that means it's quiet. As I get to know the area better, I've found several excellent coffee shops nearby, and some restaurants. Also an Otteri laundry, good for long-stay types. When the hotel is refreshed, I would like more plugs. I would also like a light to read in bed. However, the facilties are at baseline for a hotel of this type and price.

• Robert (9/5): Meets all my needs, as usual (plus great staff) - Residence is my base in Khon Kaen, because it's quiet and clean. Also, the front desk is great: I came in on the night train and as a result mixed up my arrival date (was later in the day, not 5:00am). But they found a room for me to collapse and sleep in anyhow! The amenities are all fine: aircon, fridge, wifi, etc. There are coffee shops and a laundry nearby (and also a reasonably close Macro if you need to stock up on supplies). Also, it's very near Khon Kaen hospital, so families with family members will find it handy. I'm comfortable with Grab, and Khon Kaen is reasonably small, so the location is fine for me. Not enough plugs (a common complaint) No reading light near the bed (a univeral complaint :-)

• Robert (9/5): My regular hotel - This is my regular hotel when I visit Khon Kaen, so I don't have much to add. (A while back, the staff returned my wallet to me when I lost it, so I feel that virtue should be rewarded.) One point uniquely in its favor: I like to sleep late, and the the staff cleans the rooms late, so there's nobody knocking at my door at 10:00am in the morning :-) Also, there's a really lovely cafe, Marmalett, about a ten minute away, on Sri Chant heading downtown. Garden setting. Extra charge for late checkout. I like to sleep late!

• Francois01 (7/5): Average hotel a little out of the centre of Khon Kaen close to KK public hospital - quiet hotel Breakfast was not what is described: no rice soup (as in the picture in the lift), often boring fried rice dish or too spicy dish for me. No real coffee: only powder which includes sugar and condensed milk (3 in 1). Some mornings, most things were finished and staffs seems not to care to replenish. Then, don't pay extra for this kind of breakfast. It's not worth it.

• Robert (8/5): Well satisfied - I stay here because the staff was once very kind to me, retrieving a lost article. The same staff is still works here. Everything is fine. Mattress is good (not too hard, not too soft). Quiet. Hot water, fridge, WiFi, aircon all fine. The windows open for fresh air. There is a desk. There are enough plugs. There is a reading light by the bed, which is nice. There's an excellent coffee shop with a nice garden, Marmalett, to the right on Sri Chant, about a 10 minute walk. Location is convenient to Khon Kaen hospital (and also the famous Tawandaeng concert/cocktail venue). When the hotel is refreshed, I would like to be able to control the room lights from bed, and also more plugs by the bed.

• Robert (10/5): Staff was great, location and facilities are good too - The staff was great. I forgot a bankbook and a credit card in the lobby, and they saved them for me. Praiseworthy!!!!! The hotel is on a quiet sidestreet, not central, but with enough stores, restaurants, laundries for my needs. Bathroom is new, hot water is good, beds and pillows are comfortable, lighting is OK, there are enough plugs. If you sleep late, the top floor is a little disturbing because of pigeons. I'm sure all the other floors are quiet.

• Ella (10/5): Just what i needed! lovely! - I really enjoyed my stay here at the KhonKaen Residence, staff were lovely, friendly and so welcoming! I felt safe here and if there was anything i needed the staff would assist. The breakfast was lovely! The room was perfect for what i needed and the bed was very comfy! Housekeeping were also very nice and friendly and always kept the room clean! Thank you all for such a lovely stay!
