Guests must provide full name, date of birth, nationality, passport number, and visa expiration date for all passengers. Guests who do not register in advance may be denied boarding by the port authority. A valid passport or ID card is required at check-in. Please be advised that this property is a cruise ship and not a standard hotel. Guests must contact this cruise ship 2 day in advance to arrange transportation from Hanoi to cruise. A roundtrip daily transfer from Hanoi to Ha Long departs at 9:10 AM, at USD 36 per person. Following the cruise, a van will transport guests back to Hanoi. This cruise ship's 2 days, 1 night itinerary includes the following: 1st Day: Arrive at Got Ferry Terminal in Cat Hai Town, Haiphong City by noon for embarkation. Cruise information and check-in at 12:15 PM. Cruise to Da Chong islet followed by lunch while passing through islets of Con Vit and Gia Luan. From 3-6.30 PM, cruise and sightseeing along Ba Trai Dao beach (October to May) or Tra Bau (June to September), then try local liquor. Return to the boat at 6:30 PM to watch the sunset, followed by a cooking class and dinner. Last Day: After light breakfast and a Tai Chi session, head out in canoes towards Toi Sang cave. Return to boat for check-out at 9:30 AM. Brunch is served while cruising back to Hanoi. Disembark at 11:35 AM. Guests are returned to the drop-off point at 2 PM in Hanoi. This cruise ship's 3 days, 2 nights itinerary includes the above, as well as the following: 2nd day: After Tai Chi on the sundeck and a light breakfast, transfer to a day boat to visit Viet Hai village and Bai Tu Long Bay, followed by lunch. Kayaking and swimming at Ba Ham Lake, before returning to the cruise at 4 PM for a traditional cooking class.

- Matthew (10/5): - The staff were excellent and very accommodating throughout the stay, in particular with our allergen requirements (gluten). The transfer process was easy to arrange but be aware that a member of staff will contact you via WhatsApp so you’ll need internet access a day or two beforehand. The room we had was spectacular and very clean. All round a great experience and would highly recommend.

- sergio (10/5): - Esperienza unica, appena arrivati al Lot 34 hanno ritirato i nostri bagagli (ce li hanno fatto trovare fuori la porta della nostra stanza) ed abbiamo effettuato il check in con drink di benvenuto. Dopodiché siamo stati trasportati da una piccola imbarcazione alla nave, dove siamo stati accolto in maniera unica dal personale. Stanza bella con balconcino esterno e vasca da bagno. Cucina eccellente. Da ritornare

- Nina (10/5): - Von Transfer bis zum Schiff und den Tagesausflügen alles top geplant. Das Personal ist super hilfsbereit, nett und aufmerksam. Sonderwünsche beim Essen werden super umgesetzt und die Natur ist ein Traum. Die Musik an der Bar ist angenehm und die Zimmer sind in einem super Zustand. Ein Trip zum Staunen und sich verwöhnen lassen.

The staff on the cruise are very welcoming and provide a professional service, Candy who was our waitress for all our meals was exceptional. A special mention also to Elvis who organised most events and provided some local history information during the activities. We are happy we went with Peony Cruises

- Ali (10/5): lovely stay - Lovely 1 night stay on Peony Cruises in Ha long Bay. Staff was fantastic, room was spotless and quite lovely with excellent surrounding views of the water and some thoughtful touches. Only bummer was that the engine broke on the second day so we couldn't go to the caves, but it was no ones fault and an excuse to kayak again. for our dinner service, while I appreciate that they tried to make it fancy (and it was lovely!),they can probably just do a buffet similar to lunch and breakfast and I think guests will be happier.

- Verified traveler (8/5): - Brand new boat and really well outfitted - will likely be in great condition for at least the next year. The experience (1 night 2 days) feels pretty rushed and quite a bit of the time is wasted as a result of poorly planned and managed processes
- Verified traveler (10/5): Excellent food - The service and food is excellent. We were served with 4 course fine dining for dinner and yummy oyster for lunch. I find the sightseeing places are less interesting but it's fine for us as we just want a relax trip
- Verified traveler (2/5): Be aware when you get an upgrade, it is a downgrad - A few days before the cruise we received a mail, we get an upgrade for Azalea, a suite. but we booked a suite at Peony. So not really an upgrade, rather a downgrade. The room was ok but no private balcony. The tenderboat was docked directly under the suite and all the time someone was in it. We had no privacy. On the ship was a large group of Spanish-people, all very loud. At the candlelight dinner we could hardly talk and understand each other. The buffet was looted by the Spanish within minutes, there were only leftovers. There was no table by the window only for certain guests, we were allowed to sit in the middle where it was loudest. Halong Bay was very nice, but the around was not right.
