- Eyring (10/5): The Karaksa Hotel Tokyo Station provided the perfect location for our family to enjoy Tokyo. - The rooms provided good space, very clean and the staff was friendly. The location was perfect for our daily sightseeing tours. I would highly recommend this hotel to friends visiting Japan from the US.

- Ourania (8/5): Our stay at Karaksa Hotel was pleasant thanks to the convenient location. - The location of this hotel was super convenient, being walking distance to Tokyo Station and close to lots of restaurants and shops. The hotel itself had friendly staff, complimentary snacks and drinks upon arrival and although not a luxury hotel, it had all the necessary room facilities. No concerns. Only stayed for 1 night.

- Elenita (8/5): Great stay! - The hotel was strategically located. The room was small but we understand that rooms in Japan are mostly small. The 3 of us figured it out how to spread our luggage according to the size of the room and it worked for us. I like it that the shower is separate from the toilet. None
- Greg (8/5): - This was our last night before flying out so we chose to say close to Tokyo Station for ease. The room size was good - this time we got a Twin, which actually came with single beds, and allowed us more space to do a final pack., Normally we got a double which are smaller - if you want a bigger sized room, Twin rooms are the better way to go in Japan - we perferred sacrificing the space for a double. Location was very busy and business orinetated. In hindsight we would either have stayed on the Maranouchi side (much more welcoming, and closer to the Narita Express Train) - or - gone back to Asakusa and taken the Kensei line to Narita. Hotel itself was fine for what it is

Quite small rooms, I wouldn’t want to stay for extended periods but suited a 2-3 day stop over. I wouldn’t bother explicitly booking a room including breakfast as it’s very basic and you will get more bang for buck at a combini.

- Gillian (8/5): - The beds were comfy and the shower was very good. It was great being so close to Tokyo station as we arrived very late at night via the Narita express. The staff were very helpful and also stored our bags for the day after we checked out. Breakfast was quite good . Some toast and more fruit would have been great but overall it was fine. The staff were quick to replenish the food so it was all very fresh. The free tea, coffee and little cakes all day were a nice touch. The location is a bit non touristy - much more of a business area so we had some trouble finding restaurants with any English at all. Ended up getting food from a nearby 7/11. Still felt like a very safe area though.

- Sharon (8/5): Good location and close to amenities. - Easy and quiet location, and close to 7-11 and Lawson’s for kombini runs. Proximity to Tokyo Station was great for getting around. Rooms were quite small, even for the triple room.

- Holiday (8/5): No frills but clean and close-ish to Tokyo Station. - Situated close to Tokyo station, although you cannot cross directly to it - you have to walk two blocks from the closest exit to a cross-walk… it’s on a very quiet side street - so outside noise is minimal. Beds are firm - yet ok with good sheets. Pillows a bit lumpy. Clean and sufficient. The “breakfast” is a carb load of crap and costs a lot. We did not partake. The feeling upon entry is dark, crowded and hectic. Nice employees though.

- Diego (9/5): Nos atendeu muito bem, espero voltar em breve para Tokyo. - Localização perfeita para quem vai visitar vários lugares, com muitas opções de restaurantes, conveniências e farmácias por perto, além de fácil acesso para quem vem do aeroporto de Haneda, podendo chegar pela JR (saindo pela Tokyo Station) ou pela Ginza Line (Nihombashi Station). Quarto confortável, limpo e funcionários com atendimento excelente também. O café da manhã não tem muita variedade, mas atende muito bem. Você pode trocar o café por vouchers para usar em outros lugares próximos, basta pedir na recepção (eles fornecem um mapa com os locais que aceitam, com bastante variedade). Dá para usar para tomar café ou complementar um almoço ou jantar; achei essa opção muito boa. O único ponto negativo seria a lavanderia, que poderia ter mais máquinas, há apenas quatro, mas isso não foi nenhum obstáculo; significou apenas uma melhor organização pessoal para que eu não tivesse que esperar tanto tempo para usá-la.

- Yu-Ting (7/5): Great place to stay, but breakfast not recommanded - Room is clean and have enough space to open 2 luggages in a double room. It's located in a quite area and also quite in the room. Close to Tokyo train station and some convenient stores. Breakfast quality is definitely not meeting expectation for this price. All the food seems to be pre-made and were just heated up. Coffee is terrible. And the breakfast hour is too short. One of our bathroom is with shower and toilet. The shower space is very small.

- Arie (9/5): - I think I managed to book the smallest room in the building 😊 It was fine for us, since we are short and only stayed 1 night before catching the Shinkansen the next day. The best part about this hotel was the location, it's walking distance from Tokyo station. Outside, there is also a relatively quiet street with konbini and izakayas. I liked that the room comes with pyjamas. I'd not recommend this if you're taller than 170cm, you might find it hard to move around the rooms.

- Deborah (6/5): The staff was friendly. The location was good, the rooms were clean but the lack of storage for clothes was frustrating. - It was near the Tokyo train station and underground. The staff was very friendly and stored our luggage until check-in and after we checked out (prior to heading to airport for a late flight). The rooms were clean and well stocked. No closets, no drawers, no luggage racks. In talking to people who stayed in a different hotel, they experienced the same so maybe it’s just a Japan thing. Fortunately we had an extra bed in the room and used that for our luggage. The beds were not very comfortable. There was also no restaurant on the property but there were plenty of places to eat near by so that was ok. When we opened the curtains, our view was of a concrete wall from the building next door.

Close to station pokemon store/shops. small space but clean, has laundry. - Location is the number one reason, Tokyo station makes it everything more accessible. The location gets busy but you don't need to go far for any shopping needs, convenience store is right outside the hotel, underground access to Tokyo station a street away. All the family related places of interest and family friendly restaurants are very close e.g. sushiro, pokemon store, character street, pharmacies. Staff are helpful, able to help with luggage forwarding, recommend and suggest places The room is clean, although quite basic, bed is comfortable. Staff ensure room it is always cleaned and stock when we get back from our exploring. Tv is quite small, not a smart TV so we didn't use it at all. Room has a small fridge, small ikea looking coffee table. I suppose our room was fitted with 3 beds so furniture space is limited. It is very small space. We are a family of 4 and had 2 double bed and 1 single in the room. Walking space around the bed and the front entrance is the only space you will have. I had to get creative and opened our 4 suitcases to be able to slide under the beds which also allowed easier access. I also considered utilusing the space in the shower/vanity area when not used. It has has a sliding door to act as a partition as a change room, also to block out enough light from the front entrance as the other light in the room are too strong to keep on during the night. No closet here, just a few wall hooks with clothes hanger. I didn't really mind it though. The buffet was so so, I don't think it would be worth to pay everyday as you are close to another of shops/bakeries. They do have coin operated laundry which is great. We were able to do a small load of washing during a night in at the hotel without having to pay alot or wait for it to finish. We just went back before the timer finishes. Overall I would still book this hotel if your family just wants a budget, comfy base/place to sleep. You sacrifice abit of the luxury for the location and accessibility. It just worked for us as I didn't want to have a very nice hotel but be away from most of the time as you would have to commute longer to the places we want to go each day.
