Chris (8/5): As usual very pleasant. - I have used Wallis Square apartments for years for short breaks. It is a great location, quiet and secluded. The flats are always spacious and well appointed. I like having a view of the iconic wind tunnel at the airfield too. The only problem with this location is that on road parking is restricted meaning anyone who joins us for a while is in for a walk.

Also, it was easy to pick up our keys as the host was very kind and helpful. Lastly, the comfort factor of the apartment met our expectations The checkout time was at 10 am which was too early for us and there was no hot water available before 7 o'clock in morning . Also, the heating in the en-suite bathroom was not working.

Will need washing pods instead without making a mess.

Fisher (10/5): Perfect! - This spacious apartment was perfect for our needs. Conveniently located and very comfortably furnished. We particularly liked the well equipped kitchen and the fact it had two bathrooms with nice fluffy towels and bedding provided. It was very clean, modern, bright and airy and particularly quiet. The vendors were on hand to answer any questions and we were met for the key handover. We stayed here for two nights for a concert at the O2, London. Added bonus of having a designated parking space. Will definitely use again. Thank you. An information pack with instructions for using the soundbar for the tv and for the cooker etc would have been useful as we could not get the soundbar to work.

The place is clean, comfortable, and ideally located with easy access to local amenities - everything I needed was just a short walk away. The host was fantastic, especially when it came to collecting the key - friendly, punctual, and made the whole process smooth. Having parking available was a huge plus, especially for work travel. Very quiet inside, well equipped and very suitable for our short stay Toilet in the en-suite needs fixing as it constantly runs and fills making noise. Also main bedroom door latch needs fixing as it is very hard to open and close, in fact at one stage we were "locked in" as it wouldn't open. Small issues that would make this a 10 rather than an 8.5

This also meant the light wasn’t blocked out causing difficulty sleeping especially for the two children. It would also have been useful to be told at the access stage how to boost the hot water for evenings. Left us unable to bathe the children.

Quite a noisy area due to the number of surrounding flats, and inconsiderate pub goers, which I understand can't be helped but didn't make for a restful evening.

Also, baseboards were dusty and dirty. Few minutes per room with this attention to detail I would have given a 10. It would have been nice if they recommended places to eat. There was a place within walking distance we didn’t see until we checked out.
