- Collectomaniac8 (8/5): Excellent location and staff - Location was excellent! Right in the heart of the city in a quiet lane. Hardware Lane and all the main alleys through to the malls were just downstairs. The Pretty Boy restaurant served a good breakfast and evening drink, and if you don't take the inclusive breakfast package, you're spoilt for choice a fee staples away from the hotel. Staff were all so friendly and helpful. I had an issue with the room that we had been allocated in that the lighting and lack of table meant u was not going to be able to work efficiently. After we checked in I reported this to the staff and the Duty Manager was right onto it, personally taking me to view another room that was more suitable. I was very impressed with that aspect of service. The 4 lifts offered fast delivery up and down. We have recently stayed at hotels where they were extremely slow. These are efficient and quick. The automated text welcome and other messages was a friendly way they kept in touch throughout our 2 night stay. We will definitely stay again. Thank you. Lighting in the Twin room was faulty and minimal. No table of desk. If you need more light for evening work and a table top, be sure to check this aspect out before booking

The room lacked usable space. The wardrobe was only half-functional, with a sealed, unusable compartment beneath it, and the bedside tables had drawers that wouldn’t open.

My family is assigned a exellent disabled-friendly room, but: There are no hooks or tables in the bathroom, and the towel shelf space is limited. The washstand table is small for three family members. All the used towels are heaped up together after housekeeping on the second day, and I can't tell which is mine :).

Lots of great restaurants around.great buffet breakfast. The unclear communication between Pretty Boy restaurant and reception. 1. We were told by the reservation desk that we could use the vouchers for breakfast or dinner which wasn’t true. We tried to use it for dinner on the first height but was told by the restaurant it was only for breakfast. 2. At checkout the reception said our bill showed that we only paid for one breakfast on the first morning and we hadn’t paid for breakfast on the morning of departure. He said our bill showed we needed to pay for 3 more breakfast. We paid for all four breakfast. We showed him the receipt for that morning’s breakfast for two. We didn’t have the receipt for the first morning but showed him the credit card charge. He said he couldn’t tell it it was for the restaurant or not since it only showed the Novotel name on the receipt. He said he had no way of checking. He finally said he would clear the one breakfast we owed. This was a disappointing end to a very good stay.

Egg station excellent range of other food only passable coffee awful and weird policy forced to pay for barista or using awful machine included. On paid breakfast which wasn't cheap...this was a cheap policy. No decent coffee facility on room...instant sachets.

- My Duyen (4/5): Wir werden nicht wieder ins Novotel gehen, aber ein Hotel in dieser Lage ist sehr gut. - Die Lage ist super. Wegen einer Sperrung konnten die Taxis nicht reinfahren und man muss sie ca. 200m vor dem Hotel treffen. Kann mit Gepäck mühsam sein bei Ankunft und Abreise. Das Personal war nicht so freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie machen das nötigste aber mit keinerlei Motivation. Das Housekeeping war extrem schlecht. Die reinigen so schlecht, dass es auffällt. Mir fallt so was normalerweise nicht auf. Der Boden wurde nie gewischt, die Haare haben sich gesammelt Tag für Tag. An Tagen wo man morgens nicht rausgeht wird einfach nicht mehr geputzt. Bei Nachfrage hiess es: Wenn sie morgens Do not disturb haben, werden wir nicht nochmals vorbeischauen. Ok?!
