You can barely take a shower because the shower was short - i am 165 and i barely managed to wash my hair. Everything was old (not for style but from lack of maintenance). The room was lacking simple stuff like glass to pour water. One of the chairs was broken. The room we booked was for three people but i can say it is not. The third person sleeps on a couch with a mattress that falls down. I almost fell down couple of times. I would not recommend

La camera in cui abbiamo alloggiato era confortevole e ben pulita, di notte si è dormito bene e c'era un buon isolamento. Comodo l"ascensore interno per raggiungere l'alloggio. Il frigorifero nella sala comune è un pò piccolo per mettere via le bevande di tutti, ci dovrebbero essere più cestini per la raccolta differenziata.

The room gets a lot of light in the morning, I was not able to close the blinds completely, also there is a lot of noise.

Il parcheggio convenzionato è a 10 minuti a piedi rispetto alla struttura . La vista dalla nostra stanza era molto bella e la camera estremamente spaziosa e luminosa . Sicuramente torneremo e prenoteremo di nuovo la stessa stanza ! Il bagno un pò buio, forse non funzionava bene la luce dello specchio ma è solo un piccolo dettaglio risolvibile e che non ci ha creato alcun problema.

Chiara is friendly and accomodating and the place is in a beautiful old building on a lovely piazza with lots of charming details and complete comfort. My family had the Venetian Suite, which has a fresco on the ceiling and amazing terrazzo (?) floors. The beds were very comfortable, the rooms cool and airy, and the bathroom had everything you'd need. I'd definitely recommend it!

Es befindet sich in einem sehr alten Gebäude, welches bedacht in Stand gehalten und dekoriert wird. Es steht eine kleine Mini-Bar, eine Kaffeemaschine und ein Wasserkocher zur Verfügung. Chiara war sehr zuvorkommend, da wir vor der üblichen Zeit anreisen wollten.

Amplias y cómodas habitaciones y baño, todo reciclado y con café y té de cortesía. Me gustó mucho, aunque hay que tratar de llegar y partir por las calles céntricas y no por los callejones. El edificio estaba en obras, y para llegar al ascensor hay que subir alrededor de 20 escalones, lo que es muy incómodo si llevas maleta grande (como lo caso)

A causa dei rumore e schiamazzi fino a notte fonda, non siamo riusciti a riposare, si consiglia di mettere delle finestre con doppi vetri perché il rumore è davvero forte dalla piazza e locali vicino. Letto brandina molto scomodo, si consiglia materasso più alto.

• susanna Giampaoli (9/5): Nel pieno centro storico tra i vicoli stretti di Genova - Mi è piaciuta l'accoglienza, la zona centralissima, il palazzo storico e la luminosità della stanza all'ultimo piano con una bellissima vista. L'ascensore ricavato in un palazzo storico ovviamente è un po' angusto. Il letto matrimoniale è di dimensioni non generose e un po' morbido per i miei gusti personali. L'acqua calda in bagno un po' tiepida.

Everything worked, and best of all the price was great value. The location was very central and near some wonderful cafes and other nice things, but there is also some unsavory things in the immediate vicinity, that might be intimidating for a solo woman traveller or families with small kids. To be expected in a port I guess. I would definitely book again. the neighborhood has some rough edges...the building a bit run down, but in a charming way. I quite liked it, but getting to the property with bags over rough cobbled streets was tough and not suited for those with mobility issues

• Gennaro (7/5): - Die Lage war sehr gut. Das Personal war absolut freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sehr netter Empfang. Die Zimmer sind für eine Übernachtung oder einen Kurztripp ausreichend. Der Zugang zu den Zimmern im 5 Stock mit Koffern ist sehr unbequem. Das gesammte Geschoß des Hauses ist leicht schräg gebaut und somit anfangs ungewohnt auf schrägem Untergrund zu laufen. Die Parkmöglichkeiten sind schlecht. Kein Parkplatz vor Ort. Es gibt Vereinbarungen mit Parkplätzen einige Kilometer entfernt wo ,, ermäßigt aber kostenpflichtig,, geparkt werde kann.

• Fernanda (10/5): Beautiful apartment - The apartment is so beautiful, you have a very nice view, the floors are stunning.. the rooms are big and comfortable with a very nice style. You have big sunny windows, that can shut down nicely for sleeping. On our way to the apt we passed through some dodgy little streets, made me think i wasn't in a nice place, the administrator later explained what streets to use and it was perfect, maybe it should be included in the check in instructions to avoid that.

En pleno centro, a escasos 4 minutos a pie del puerto, y con buenos locales alrededor para ir a comer algo o tomar una cerveza. La atención por parte de Chiara ha sido excelente. Sin duda un sitio donde volver! Al ser el centro histórico, el parking es escaso y queda un poco alejado del apartamento (problema si vas con peso), pero como en la gran mayoría de las ciudades.

• Grace (8/5): - Es war sehr sauber und die Einrichtung hat mir gefallen. Auch die Lage ist sehr zentral! Bei Booking wird es als Hotel gelistet und es nennt sich selbst bed and breakfast. Für mich waren es eher Apartments. Ich habe einmal jemand vom Personal bei der Ankunft gesehen. Zwar ist es inzwischen normal, dass die Ankunftszeit mitgeteilt wird, aber gerade wenn ich diese Kategorie buche, erwarte ich, dass ich während den Check in Zeiten einfach vorbeikommen kann und auch etwas spontaner sein kann, das ist ja gerade ein großer Vorteil an Hotels. Zudem war das B&B im fünften Sotock ohne genaue Erklärungen wo man hin muss. Es gibt zwar ein Fahrstuhl, aber das hotel ist nirgendwo angegeben, so dass man nicht weis wo man hin muss und ich erstmal fünf Stockwerke mit Koffer hochgelaufen bin. Für mich kein Problem, aber wenn man nicht so fit ist ziemlich herausfordernd. Die Gegend hat ein paar "schwierige" Straßen mit viel Konsum. Daher würde ich das Hotel keiner alleinreisenden Frau empfehlen und ich fühle mich wirklich nicht schnell unsicher. Die Betten sind wirklich sehr schmal. Ich hatte eine gute Zeit im Le Coccole, aber halte die Anmerkungen doch für sinnvoll.

• MichałZ (9/5): A great stay in a beautiful, affordable place with stunning views - It was a very affordable place, perfectly located near the main tourist attractions of Genova. The view was amazing, and the rooms were truly stunning. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. Each of us (we were a group of four) received our own set of two towels, and the bathroom was thoughtfully stocked, even with makeup remover pads. Overall, it was pretty much the perfect place for a city break in Genova. At night, a restaurant operates just below the property, and it can get quite loud. There is also a narrow street nearby where some locals can be noisy as well. I also missed having a small fridge in the room to store food or leftovers from restaurants. The same would apply for anyone who wants to prepare their own breakfast - there’s no place to keep items such as cheese or other perishables.

• Francesca (7/5): Comodo ma non consigliabile per donne che viaggiano da sole - Le stanze erano ampie, l'aria condizionata funzionava bene (fondamentale), la vista era meravigliosa, era abbastanza pulito anche se lo scopettino del bagno non lo era e la doccia all'arrivo era otturata. Lo staff contattato ha però risolto prontamente la cosa e ci ha comunque offerto di usare il bagno di un'altra stanza che era libera. Uno dei letti era in realtà una brandina, per cui meno comodo degli altri. Caffè e tè a disposizione, acqua minerale a pagamento nel frigobar ma a prezzi onestissimi. Molto carino il fatto che ogni appartamento è arredato in maniera diversa. I soffitti affrescati...wow! Prezzo ottimo. Attenzione, il posto è nel cuore della città vecchia, raggiungibile solo passando per uno dei famosi vicoli. Io ero da sola con tre ragazze adolescenti. Abbiamo avuto paura (soprattutto le ragazze) e non sono una che si impressiona facilmente. Ma il contesto umano era veramente inquietante, tanto che dopo cena abbiamo raggiunto l'appartamento e ci siamo guardate bene dall'uscire. Lo avevo selezionato perchè è vicinissimo all'acquario, e lo è. Tornando indietro sceglierei un'altra zona, anche se più scomoda. Non lo consiglierei a donne che viaggiano da sole. C'è da dire che proprio di fronte c'è un lussuoso albergo a quattro stelle, i cui ospiti sembravano non particolarmente colpiti dal contesto quindi dipende forse dalla sensibilità individuale.

• Ivo (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was great! Our host Chiara was really helpful and professional. We enjoyed our stay in Genova.
• Zsuzsanna (10/5): Unique style, close to centre and sea - Great style, quite unique and pretty. Close to the centre but also close to the shore. Staff is very kind. The beds were a bit uncomfortable, the street is very noisy (even through closed windows) and the street is also quite shady, would not recommend for ladies alone. The elevator is an adventure itself, but at least there is an elevator in the building.
