• Naomi (10/5): - La Indiana is a lovely B&B. The beds are huge and comfortable with plenty of pillows. The bathroom is modern and the amenities (toothbrush, soap, toothpaste, etc etc) were great. The towels were large and soft too. We were on the first floor and it was two steps from the comfortable living room where breakfast was served (included.) Breakfast was delicious with iberian ham, sausage, cheese, fresh fruit, juice, coffee/tea, toast, croissants, pastries, .... so much food! Tali the owner is friendly and very helpful as are her staff. The hotel is steps away from the center of town where there are at least 4 restaurants serving tapas, main meals and drinks all day long. Nearby are other restaurants, very good ones. We loved Rostei and recommend it. Pizzeta was good too. Walking up to the castle is steep but worth the climb. We didn't walk down to Sa Tuna because we wanted to go to Pals and Calella de Palafrugell, both lovely towns to visit very nearby. Calella is on the sea, Pals has a medieval town to walk through. Sorry we missed Sa Tuna. Lovely stay. We also enjoyed chatting with another couple staying there. Friendly and easy! HIghly recommend!

• Allison (8/5): Great Stay! - We had an amazing stay here. The bed was comfy, the room was huge with a beautiful terrace overlooking the castle. The breakfast was incredible and made just for us when we woke up. I wish I would have read the reviews before arriving though as like another said, it cannot be accessed via a car and is located on a walking street only. In the off season the parking is free in the lots nearby.
• 590mariyams (10/5): Lovely! - Cute, cozy hotel in the heart of Begur. We stayed one night in October. The place is exactly as seen in the photos. Our room had a small balcony overlooking a back street. It was spotless, and beautifully decorated. A free bottle of water is provided. The bathroom was stocked with everything you will need, including dental kits. The staff are very friendly and courteous. They speak limited English, so there was a lot of Google translation involved. The hotel is on a small street in the heart of Begur, only accessible by walking. We parked our car in a public spot (free) and then walked about 5 minutes with our bags to get here. There are steps to get to the main floor; no ramp or elevator. No assistance was provided to get our luggage up or down. Breakfast is included. It is simple but delicious. Fresh orange juice, tea/coffee, limited selection of cheese and pastries, and of course jamon. I loved the fresh fruits. Overall, great experience and would highly recommend!
• glipsnort (10/5): Lovely hotel in a lovely town - We loved staying at this small and friendly hotel, just steps from the main plaza of the old town. We had a comfortable, clean, and bright room with a small balcony and delightful view of the Begur Castle on its hill above the town. The two women who run the hotel seemed genuinely interested in making our stay convenient and pleasant. They served delicious and generous breakfasts. When we told them we’d be leaving very early on our last day, the woman who prepares breakfasts asked if she could leave a take-away breakfast in the refrigerator for us. Be sure to follow the directions on the website regarding parking! The hotel is located in a part of the town where cars are prohibited but google maps does not seem to know this and can steer you very wrong. You will have to park in a lot about two blocks from the hotel.

• MoussedeMarousse (10/5): A Perfect Petit Oasis - Well, we have been home for a month from our 10 day honeymoon at the Petit Hotel Boutique La Indiana de Begur and we're still on a high. The hotel is a perfect oasis in the centre of everything. The rooms are boho chic stylish and spotlessly clean: big, comfortable beds, powerful showers, a little fridge, a tiny balcony, great soundproofing, quiet and efficient air-conditioning. The common areas are lovely too and there's even an honesty bar. Drinking ice-cold Cava and watching the sun go down over the castle from the (bookable) roof-top hot-tub is the perfect way to start an evening of bar-hopping and eating out in one of several fabulous restaurants. The breakfast is great - chilled out and generous. And it's that the generosity that makes this place. Mario and his staff are attentive, kind, anticipate your needs, go the extra mile, but are never intrusive. They're just lovely. Lovely staff, lovely hotel, lovely place. What are you waiting for?

Mario was incredibly responsive and helpful for us during our stay and some lovely restaurant and hiking recommendations. The highlight was the rooftop jacuzzi you can reserve and have a glass of cava at sunset overlooking the castle!
• eenbean (10/5): 10/10 You MUST stay here if in Begur or Costa Brava - If there is one place that should be the standard for service and hospitality, this hotel is it. Absolutely incredible place, with incredible hospitality. I stayed 4 nights and really wished I could stay longer. Mario and Nadia treat you like family and take care of you every minute of your stay. The service, the homemade fresh delicious breakfasts, the location, and the rooms were all 10/10. Mario went above and beyond from the day I reserved until my last minutes to make sure I was happy and taken care of, checking in regularly. He was very responsive, and so so helpful for someone coming here for the first time. He suggested many amazing restaurants based on my dietary restrictions, and even helping to call and make reservations for me daily. Nadia is also a gem of this place, her smile, service and delicious food will make anyone want to come back. The rooftop has great views and is a great place to enjoy your coffee and relax. I will dream about this place until I’m able to come back again!

We looked forward to their wonderful breakfast every morning prepared by the lovely Nadia. Mario took very good care of us, even making dinner reservations and had many great suggestions. It was a perfect stay and we did not want to leave!

Went out of his way to provide our Vegan daughter with a customized breakfast for her diet, and a delicious menu for my wife and me. Very central location in Begur city central. Remember to take advantage of the rooftop terrace and jacuzzi.
• SoeradjR (10/5): Absolutely lovely! - This hotel was absolutely perfect: small enough to create an authentic Spanish atmosphere without losing any of the customer service. Both the owner and the other staff were lovely in all aspects. The check-in was very late (11 pm) but the owner was available to help and quickly to respond via WhatsApp. The breakfast was so amazing (and healthy). The jacuzzi on the terrace was also the best. Would definitely want to stay here again and recommend to anyone staying in Begur!

They should have at least one more star and their prices are reasonable compared to the quality of the whole place. We stayed three nights and are just looking forward to come back very soon!

• Camperman001 (10/5): The best boutique hotel we have stayed in - This must be one of the best boutique hotels we have stayed in. It is beautifully furnished throughout and has a roof top terrace with a jacuzzi and fantastic view over the town and of the castle. Our bedroom (the White Rooom) was spacious with a balcony and great views of the castle. It was also very quiet with double glazing. The bed was extremely comfortable and cotton sheets of high quality. The bathroom was also beautiful. Breakfast was very well cooked and served in a lovely outside courtyard and of a high standard. The location is excllent right of the main square within a few mins walk of a patisserie, baker, and gelato store as well as many fine restaurants. Our host Mario was most courteous and helpful with information and Nadia was a delightful chef. Well done, a winning formula and highly recommended. You won’t be disappointed
• 30etoile (10/5): Special boutique hotel in the heart of Begur! - This boutique hotel was a really special place to stay in the beautiful town of Begur. The location is just seconds from the traditional town square with beautiful cobbled streets and eateries, with free parking provided a short walk away. This was a major bonus for us having a rental car for our stay as Begur's traditional cobbly streets means parking is not easily or cheaply available elsewhere. Before we arrived at the hotel, communication with Mario was clear and meant we could check in easily as soon as we arrived. The exterior is stunning and charming, and the interior decorated beautifully with thoughtful touches throughout. Our room, the green room, was absolutely stunning and decorated perfectly for the surroundings. The balcony looked right over the castle, the shower room was incredible and the bed was enormous and extremely comfortable with high quality linens. We cannot fault the cleanliness and upkeep of the hotel, with a safe and all expected amenities provided on arrival. We were even lucky to receive a small welcome drink! The breakfast every morning was beautifully prepared by Nadia, she was the most charming and kind lady, and it really made a great start to our stay every single morning. This boutique hotel also has a stunning surprise of a rooftop jacuzzi which we were lucky enough to book for private use twice during our week long stay. It really made for some memorable evenings. La Indiana felt like a really special place to stay and we hope to visit again soon. We cannot recommend it enough to anyone!

Precio un poco alto para la prestacion ofrecida, comparado a alojamientos de categoria igual o superior, pero mas baratos en las mismas fechas. Tambien entiendo que es epoca de COVID y que no se deben manejar muchos papeles, pero no es motivo para no aportar informacion previa a los clientes (llegada en coche al parking y despues al B&B, uso de la habitacion ...), podiendo usar por ejemplo correos electronicos con PDFs.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Great boutique hotel - We greatly enjoyed our stay here! It is a cozy little hotel in a great little town, just perfect for our brief get-away. We enjoyed the hot tub on the roof at sunrise (looking directly at the castle) as well as the spacious tub and shower in the Deluxe suite. Since it was November, the town was very quiet and uncrowded, exactly how we prefer. Marcela was a great and friendly host. The breakfast was wonderful too. We walked approximately 10km each day to the beaches both south and north of town. If only it would have been a little warmer for using the lovely off-suite balcony but that happens sometimes in November.

• RoseD779 (10/5): Gorgeous little boutique hotel in heart of Begur, Costa Brava - Begur is a beautiful, traditional Spanish town in Costa Brava that is an easy 1.5 hour drive from Barcelona. We were warned that Costa Brava in summer is overrun by British tourists (sorry to all those lovely Brits out there) but this is absolutely not the case - far more French families and very quiet and family oriented. It is a very authentic town and there are lots of high quality restaurants, a church with some incredible frescos in the town square, a fort with views across Begur and the sea, and lots of boutique shops. If you have a car this Hotel is a perfect base for visiting the many beautiful beaches and coves around Begur such as Aguiablava and sa Riera (parking can be tricky so be prepared to walk a little). Marcel was very friendly and helpful and communication was excellent. The room was particularly lovely with beautiful tiled floors and original oversized French doors. It had its own little balcony overlooking cafes and the town, and the en-suited bathroom was a generous size and well appointed. We loved breakfasts in the little front patio (usually a selection of cold meats, cheeses, breads, pastries, fruit and coffee. Thank you Marcel for a lovely stay - will definitely put this on the list of places to return to.

• Kiwigirl1078 (10/5): Amazing and special place! - This is a beautiful, romantic hotel. The decoration is stunning and each room looks like something out of an interior design magazine. The beds are super comfortable and the rooms make you sad to leave! The staff on site, Marcella and Nadia, are both incredible and very kind, and nothing is too much trouble for them. Marcella really makes the stay, and will make you feel welcome and at home. I recommend this hotel without reservation, and I wish the owners and Marcella every success - very much deserved!
