- Carlisle (10/5): It was amazing 😊 - Everything, the property and rooms are beautiful!! They had bikes for us to use. Lorenzo and his wife are the nicest people we have met in Italy.
- Joost (9/5): Heel erg welkom gevoel gehad.

Personale cordiale. Materassi scomodi.

- Sandra (9/5): Super friendly reception, lovely garden and room, delicious breakfast - Super super friendly host, delicious breakfast, convenient location, lovely garden and outside seating area, very nice room and really clean Nothing the property could have done, and we really loved the place and especially the friendly host, but unfortunately the wall to the next room is paper thin and we had very loud neighbours. Fighting until late at night and then making up loudly… twice. Would bring earplugs next time
- Guy (10/5): An excellent base for visiting Paestum - We had a warm welcome from our host, Lorenzo, who gave us a lot of useful information about places to eat and to visit in the area. The property is ideal for visiting the Ancient Greek city of Paestum, a spectacular archaeological site south of Salerno, and we had a wonderful time. For a little extra, 7 euros, we were given an excellent breakfast. The room was comfortable, spacious and very clean. Highly recommended!
- Phil (8/5): OK - No breakfast

- Pj (8/5): All in all, relaxing, preferabIe to being treated as unworthy on an expensive crowded chaise-lounge. - The amazing Paestum Archaeological Park is about 3 kilometers away. The beach was a 3 minute walk. As for the accommodation, I was pleased that it was clean and quiet. The bathroom is modern, beds comfy, roomy, uncluttered space. Host kind and welcoming. The kitchen needs a knife, needs hot mitts. Guests wishing to be observant would benefit by having the arcane recycling trash instructions translated into English. When I asked for the intense white balcony light to be turned off, the next day it was (no control inside the apartment itself.) Balcony door knob not yet fixed. In my opinion, the village in general could cooperate better to welcome visitors, or maybe they don’t have a “shoulder-season” because the hospitality staff needs a break. A four-night mid-October visit was great for the quietness, but the high-season prices made it a poor choice if you want good value for your vacation savings. Starting with the expensive taxi ride from the rail station (€15/4km, loaded my own bags driver, stayed put), and concluding with being turned away from a Paestum hotel restaurant that only serves registered guests (should there be any), I felt some disdain in places probably overrun with tourists from June to August. Most restaurants were closed or open intermittently. The bicycles at the villa look great, but 8€ seems excessive since there are few destinations available, and no other guests around (so we walked).
It took some time to figure out the smell was from the famous buffalos that are milked to make cheese. Definitely frequent strong buffalo smell (not sweet as the milch cow smell of great-mozzarella-producing Allegany County NY, which I quite like) I thought it was pigs or human-sewage.
We had a pleasant time, it wasn’t anything about AVP, but I can’t recommend the area (except perhaps summer beachtime, if it’s a centime cheaper than Amalfi) for extended encounters with local culture beyond the very famous ruins. A little generosity would go a long way, especially since it’s nearly boarded up in October.
- Ximena (9/5): Beautifull house with extremly nice people - The staff was incredibly nice , they even gave us a boiler for the room because they saw we drink mate.
There is a fridge in the room to store cold things
The garden was beautiful
Free parking space in the street. the cover of the bed was too soft for us, so we remove it.
The cars in the middle of the night pass by quite fast and that makes a little bit of noise, but nothing you cannot handle.
- Sarah (8/5): Comfortable, close to beach and ruins . - Owner was hugely helpful, printed bus tickets for us, offered coffee +++ All good
- Carlosipv (10/5): Exceptional - It's a beautiful and peaceful place and near to the beach, the exteriors and gardens are beautiful. The rooms are clean and comfortable, all facilities included. The owner and the personnel are always available and helpful. Arriving at the center of Paestum is a bit difficult if you don't own a car. Plan it in advance.
- Christopher (9/5): Very nice place to stay for a short visit to see the Greek temples. -
- Hannah (10/5): We really enjoyed being in Paestum this apartment made the experience great. Being so close to the beach was perfect. Th - It is a beautiful building the apartment had great light and space. Very well looked after.
- Jamila (10/5): The best place to stay in Paestum! - We had a lovely week at the Villa Paestum. Everything was great from beginning to end. Newly renovated house, comfortable beds, and beautiful garden. They served amazing breakfasts. The owners Lorenzo and Ines are so friendly and were very helpful. They gave us good tips on the region, and restaurants. It is a short walk to the beach and in a quiet area of Paestum which we loved. But there’s everything you need close by including the yummy food at the Pizzeria next door. We were sad to leave. All was great
- Olga (9/5): Very cosy place for vacation Thank you Lorenzo for hospitality - Perfect location, perfect owner, very clean. Nearby is a pizzeria with delicious pizza and affordable prices and of course PESTUM ARCHEOLOGICAL PARK - fantastica. It would be nice to have a kettle in the room
- Filomena (9/5): Superb - Location molto carina, staff attento e competente
- Lynda (8/5): Wonderful location - Excellent location and clean rooms Bed needs better mattress
- Graeme (9/5): A lovely base for 4 nights. Highly recommend. - Lorenzo is most hospitable and helpful .
Very clean and good sized room. Great breakfast. We would like real glasses rather than plastic and tea as well as coffee.
- liberato (10/5): - Ottima esperinza. Ci ritornerei
