The location honestly couldn’t be better - St. Joseph's Cathedral is literally a one-minute walk away, there’s a minimart right on the corner if you need anything quickly, and the surrounding streets are full of great cafes and small artisan shops. For the price, the room actually exceeded expectations. It was a decent size, not cramped at all, with a spacious bathroom. Yes, the window looked straight onto the wall of the neighbouring building, but considering the street noise starts pretty early here, that actually turned out to be a bit of a plus. Another highlight was breakfast on the top floor with panoramic windows - the views were great.

My room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, with a lovely view and all the necessary amenities. The location was also very convenient, close to restaurants, attractions, and public transport. Breakfast each morning was fresh and delicious, with plenty of variety. What stood out most was the vibrant atmosphere and excellent hospitality that made me feel truly welcome. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

- Iksa (4/5): Convenient Location, Uncomfortable Stay - Amazing staff. Everyone was very friendly, accommodating, and always available to help whenever needed. The location was another major highlight — right in the heart of the Old Quarter and within walking distance to many attractions, restaurants, and cafes, which made exploring the area very convenient. Unfortunately, the hotel itself felt quite run down. While the photos are technically accurate, the rooms and facilities were much older and more worn than expected. The walls were extremely thin — we could hear almost everything, including people on the floor above flushing the toilet. The Wi-Fi was also very poor, with constant disconnections and speeds too slow to even watch YouTube properly. Noise was another major issue. Every morning around 7am, there was a very loud and lengthy public announcement nearby, so sleeping in was nearly impossible. Despite the great staff and convenient location, the overall stay was disappointing for us.

- ispirid (10/5): Outstanding customer service - Dear Booking.com Customer Service, I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the outstanding customer service I received from L’Heritage Hotel Hanoi, especially from the manager Mr. Cuong, Ms. Sabi at the front desk, and Mr. Vu. I originally made a reservation through L Signature, and their company arranged a trip for me to Sapa. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing, and I had to cancel and leave after only one day. My reservation at L’Heritage Hotel was supposed to start at 2:00 PM on May 10, and I had already prepaid approximately $82 for two nights. Because of the situation in Sapa, I arrived at L’Heritage earlier than expected and explained my circumstances to Ms. Sabi and Mr. Vu at the front desk. They listened carefully, contacted the hotel manager Mr. Cuong, and handled the matter with exceptional professionalism and compassion. Mr. Cuong understood my situation and kindly approved the cancellation without any penalty, which saved me from losing money due to circumstances beyond my control. In addition, the hotel staff helped me arrange a one-night stay for May 9–10 and even upgraded my room for only $54. This level of customer care is rare. The staff demonstrated empathy, professionalism, flexibility, and genuine concern for the guest experience. I truly appreciate the way they handled everything and believe they deserve recognition for their excellent service. Please extend my gratitude and recognition to the management and staff of L’Heritage Hotel Hanoi for going above and beyond to help a customer during a difficult situation. Sincerely, Irina

Thanks to Ms. Sabi's exceptional competence, caring attention to detail and follow through, our hotel stays and the tours of the Hanoi City, Sapa, Ninh Binh, and the Halong Bay Cruise were impeccable. And, thanks to Mr. James for the excellent restaurant recommendation for our last night dinner as well as to the entire hotel staff for the exceptionally friendly, attentive, accommodating, and caring service throughout our stay. The breakfast varied every day, and the pho that could be ordered was very delicious. We also used the bar, which was a nice place to relax since the atmosphere was so good. The spa also had a wonderful ambiance, and more than anything, it was blissful to go straight back to the room and directly to bed. Above all, the staff were very kind, and it was a delight that they remembered what we had talked about the day before as well as our room number and would engage us in conversation. When we left, they waved goodbye as they saw us off in the taxi, which really warmed my heart. If I go to Hanoi again, I will definitely want to stay at this hotel. Thank you very much.
- Tegbert (10/5): Best hotel location in Old Quarter! - Hanoi Lheritage Diamond Hotel, located in the heart of the Hanoi Old Quarter, is an accommodation that stands out for its excellent service and convenience. We were welcomed with drinks and fruits, which was a thoughtful touch. The staff also provided helpful guides on food and tourist attractions, and even took the time to understand our plans and offer recommendations. The room was spacious and faced the city, yet was located away from the noisier streets. The beds, linens, and towels were clean, and both the bed and pillows were comfortable. Two bottles of water were provided daily, and additional water could be refilled at the dispenser in the lobby. Housekeeping was carried out daily, including towel changes. The hotel’s location is very convenient, Many popular tourist attractions are also within walking distance like Hoàn Kiếm Lake and St. Joseph Cathedral. Breakfast is served daily from 6.30 am to 10.00 am, offering an international spread with some Vietnamese options, including bread, eggs, cereal, salad, coffee, and tea. Check out was smooth and efficient. Overall, the service was excellent, and the staff were warm, attentive, and consistently ensured that our stay was comfortable. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and the hotel is a strong choice for anyone visiting Hanoi.

Convenience store and coffee shops nearby. We liked the pillows and sheets! Sabi was very helpful as well as the rest of the reception staff including Kevin. The location was perfect for walking to shops and restaurants and the lake. The room was very comfortable. The shower is important to me and this one was very good. We liked the hotel so much that we came back to it three times. We used it as a homebase as we traveled around Northern Vietnam. We were able to leave our extra luggage there so it was very convenient. It is a small thing… But it would be nice to have a few more western food options at breakfast like bacon and pancakes. They did make a very good omelette to order.

The tissue paper holder in the toilet is not strong enough to hold the tissue roll so it keeps falling into the bin. The bidet’s water pressure is too strong they can adjust it a bit.
- Irene (10/5): Excellent hotel location and service! - After flying into Hanoi, diving from the airport and launching straight into a walking tour of the city, we were incredibly relieved to finish the day by arriving at this excellent hotel in the Old Quarter. The air conditioned, tasteful lobby provided a welcome break from the heat, and check-in was smooth and friendly. We received a printed map along with local food and drink recommendations; thanks to the hotel’s ideal location, there were plenty of options within walking distance. Much to our delight, we were also upgraded to a king suite. The room was well designed, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was well catered and enjoyable, served in a quiet space with a great aerial view of the Old Quarter. Unfortunately, we only stayed for one night initially, but we were so impressed that we made sure to rebook after our return from Cat Ba. The staff were outstanding - friendly, attentive and helpful. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to explore the Old Quarter on foot while enjoying a comfortable, welcoming stay.

Staff was excellent and provided helpful suggestions on restaurants and places to visit. They are able to arrange early/late transport to the airport which was wonderful. The location was relatively quiet, near the Church and Hoan Kiem Lake, there were many attractions within walking distance. The breakfast time starting at 6:30AM was very helpful for tourists who wanted to explore early, and the food was excellent. The pho was particularly delicious. All the staff were friendly, and I had a happy time without any inconveniences. I will return here when I visit Hanoi again.

- Michael (10/5): I would highly recommend this Hotel and staff to anyone visiting Hanoi.  - Ms. Sabi was excellent at always making us feel welcome and arranging our two week itinerary. Her attention to detail made everything run smoothly, including our transportation with taxis, buses, and sleeper buses. The breakfast was good and the rooms and air conditioning were very pleasant. The location is exceptional and easy walking distance to the lake and everywhere that we wanted to go. Only once did we get a small room, and we asked for a bigger one and we were immediately upgraded.

I booked an Executive suite and for ~$200AUD p/night I expected more quality / value / atmosphere / Everything else.

- Gullon (10/5): Best location in Old quarter !!! - My husband and I stayed the Lheritage Diamond Hotel while on a 2-week tour of Laos, Vietnam, and Cambodia, and of all the places we stayed, the service here stands out as the absolute best. We had a minor issue and left a comment on a requested feedback card, and the staff went above and beyond to correct it. Their attention to detail and to ensuring our happiness was nothing short of stellar, and our overall experience was truly memorable and fun. The breakfast was amazing (!!!). Our room was beautiful, and the hotel had a clean aesthetic and premium feel. We will absolutely stay here again on our next trip to Ha Noi, and want to thank the staff and specifically Pon, the Manager, for the incredible service!

- Ardani pratamay (10/5): Highly recommended! - How can I start. Lheritage Diamond Hotel felt comfortable from the moment we walked in the door. Sabi familiarized us with the hotel and area. From the beginning she looked after our every need. It’s the little things that count for us and Sabi took care of it all. From arranging rides, helping with flight plans to even walking me to the best barber - we could count on her. Furthermore she made us feel like family. The amenities were fantastic and well located in the heart of Old Quarter Hanoi. Everything was a short walk away. We took advantage of the Spa and enjoyed it immensely. We will definitely stay again.

If you wish to explore this amazing city don't hesitate to book this hotel. We will definately be back. We travelled as a group ( 3 families) which included teenagers and young adults and it was ideal. The breakfast selection includes Western as well as local options and are all made freshly to order.

The old quarter is very busy but once in the hotel, you didn’t hear a thing. The staff in the hotel are amazing and can’t do enough for you, especially Pon. Who looked after us extremely well. The rooms are nice size and the bed is super comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!
