• Maisie (10/5): - We had the most amazing time on this cruise, the rooms were exactly as pictured if not even better!! We participated in all the trips and thoroughly enjoyed everything we did. You really do get treated very well on this cruise, we were looked after by the lovely Flora and she was so kind and made our experience extra special! Also a shout out to Rosie who ran one of our day trips she was very knowledgeable and made the day really interesting, thank you!!
• Michelle (9/5): Gorgeous location but if moored closer to “activities” overnight there would be less transport time - Great food, lovely staff, had a room upgrade which was huge! If you chose not to do an activity there weren’t many other things to do on the boat. Only a few staff spoke English well and they weren’t available 24/7. Long boat rides to get to some of the activities and kayaking time was limited to 20minutes.

• Marcel (5/5): Schlechtes Preisleistungsverhältnis in toller Umgebung - Die Aufteilung des Zimmers war gut und der Balkon war super. Es ist alles sehr abgenutzt. Wir hatten Zimmer 301 und der Dieselgeruch ist direkt in unser Zimmer. Wir wollten tauschen, dass war aber nicht möglich. Komisch weil täglich neue Leute ankommen. Man fühlt sich ab und an wie auf einer Touristenfarm. Es gibt einige sehr nette Leute. Aber in Summe ist es ein durchschleusen. Der sehr hohe Preis ist nicht gerechtfertigt. Das Essen war in Summe eine sehr große Enttäuschung. Vieles Kalt und nicht durch. Alle die schreiben, dass Essen war gut, haben jeglichen Anspruch verloren. Für 6€ haben wir in Hanoi, Ninh Binh etc. gegessen.

• Laura (8/5): Very much enjoyed this 3d/2n trip - The room was perfect for family of three. Lots of good food available and all staff try to make a good stay for you, especially Gino and Rosie. It is worth the extra night to get to Lan Ha Bay which is less busy than Haylong. Not sure about the intercom in the room announcement for lots of things.

The variety of activities was a little disappointing, we would have loved to have kayaked and gone in the cave, but were unable to do both due to the timeline. In saying that, the activities we did do - boating, kayaking, squid fishing and ta chi were great?

A comida era boa e em grande quantidade/variedade. O cruzeiro está muito tempo parado no mesmo sítio, parece quase um quarto para dormir no meio do mar. A travessia é efetuada no ferryboat desde o cais até onde o cruzeiro está parado, dura cerca de 1h. Na verdade, apenas se está menos de um dia no cruzeiro.

They truly surprised us and made a point of celebrating this occasion . Not to mention the biggest surprise the room upgrade Nothing . Everything was beyond what we expected .

Dinner, breakfast bruch. Cleaned room whilst on day excursion. Everything was pieced together exceptionally well. Had a 40 minute boat road out to main boat. No WiFi at all.

Bathroom and bedroom are amazing Have to pay for coffee at brunch - have to wake up at 6.30 to get a free coffee, despite the premium price tag. Cannot kayak when you want on demand, instead only choice is to miss the best cave to kayak around a fish farm. Where you would like to kayak you have to instead have a local person row you to light/dark cave. Driver also dropped us at the wrong location on way back and refused to take us to the right place. It took the receptionist at the wrong location to call to get them to come back and solve the error. Also the Japanese toilet in room didn't work

• Zohar (6/5): לסגור לילה אחד בלבד , מנהל הקרוז איש לא נעים , ולא נחמד - אהבנו את האוכל , החדר היה מרווח ונקי יש מים חמים בשפע , הצוות של הקרוז נחמד מאוד מנהל הקרוז היה פשוט מזעזע, לעג לנו כל הזמן וצחק עלינו . פשוט הרס לנו את כל השהות בסירה לקחנו 2 לילות שזאת הייתה טעות מרה . הם לא יודעים מה לעשות איתך ביום השני ( הציעו סיור שיצא בשעה 7:30 מהמלון והיה לנו קשה לקום בשעה כזו ) והכל פשוט חזר על עצמו חוץ מארוחת הערב שהייתה שונה שתיה מאוד יקרה על הקרוז ( כאילו שלא שילמנו מספיק להיות שם ) ארוחת בוקר מתחילה בשעה 6:00-7:30 מוקדם ברמות כך שלא יצא לנו בכלל להיות בה לא ממליצה על הקרוז הזה במיוחד לא לחבר׳ה צעירים אחרי צבא או שחוגגים ירח דבש במידה והייתי סוגרת אז רק יום אחד ( כלומר לילה ) ולא מעבר בעיות וויפי קשות ( התחברנו לספינות שעגנו לידינו )

• Alba (9/5): Estupenda - Barco con instalaciones increíbles personal super atento y amable. Unas comidas deliciosas y también la experiencia del servicio de las mismas. Es un clima ideal para ir en pareja. Excursiones increíbles también, sobretodo si disfrutas de las vistas desde el mar. La excursion en bicicleta recomendada. Escogimos el crucero de dos noches, una de las actividades no la pudimos realizar porque nos recogieron antes con el ferry. Debido a la humedad aparecen algunas cucharachas en el baño en ocasiones, aunque el camarote esta muy limpio y el personal es muy atento a todo. Sin duda volveríamos a repetir.
• Bronwyn (4/5): Significantly underwhelming following uncompensated downgrade. - The staff were lovely (especially Rose). The ship is aesthetically pleasing (although it needs cushions on all of the chairs!). The route is nice. The food is okay. We were downgraded from the Legend ship to the Grand ship. We had booked two rooms and they moved us into one (where they had put in two beds). Hence, we lost the privacy we paid for and the nicer ship. They donwgraded us with less than 48 hours notice (so after the free cancellation period), and it was sold as the Legend ship was damaged so if we didn't take this, there would be no cruise. We then spent 2 days following the (significantly nicer) Legend ship we were supposed to be on, which just rubbed salt in the wound. We were offered no refund or compensation for the downgrade either.

We enjoyed amazing food, activities and relaxation It was particularly nice to have dinner served a la carte rather than buffet style. We particularly enjoyed our cycle ride around the island, a real highlight. Nothing at all.

Man hätte vermutlich kaum Zeit aufgrund des dichten Programms, aber das Jakuzzi, falls damit die Whirlpoolbadewanne gemeint ist, war leer und würde extra kosten. Der Fitnessraum existiert auch nicht. Der Preis, wie für alle Kreuzfahrten in Halong, ist für vietnamesische Verhältnisse natürlich extrem hoch. Wenn ich noch einmal die Gelegenheit hätte, würde ich selbstständig nach Cat Ba fahren und von dort das Programm gestalten...

• Giampie18 (7/5): Bella la nave e la camera, il resto discutibile - L'eleganza della nave, con un ponte senza troppo sfarzo, ma suggestivo al tramonto. La camera era molto grande e ben tenuta, il bagno con doccia e vasca vista Halong bay davvero bello. La gentilezza di tutto il personale. Il tempo di navigazione è poco (qualche ora). Le attività proposte non sono entusiasmanti, ad Halong bay ci sono altre grotte molto più belle. Non si può fare il bagno sotto la nave da crociera, puzzavo di alghe! Mi sono rilassato solo nell'ora del tramonto che fortunatamente ho visto.

• Anna Coles (5/5): Not a 5 star experience - The views were spectacular. Enjoy them on a different boat. The experience was not 5 stars. It is very set up to rotate tourists through like cattle and did not feel at all luxurious. The rooftop deck had no shade or anyone attending the bar during the day. The food was very westernised and bland and if you didn't get to the buffet breakfast at 6.30 you risked missing out on some food items. If you chose not to go on the excursions you were ignored by the staff, not at all set up for those who want to relax.

El menjar i el bufet molt bo. L'aire acondicionat de l'habitació no es podia graduar malgrat hi havia el comendament. Anar amb activitats tant programades tampoc ens va acabar d'agradar. Has d'estar molt alerta dels horaris que es fa cada cosa. Vam trobar a faltar acostar-nos en alguna platja propera a la zona de navegació. Banyar-se a darrera el vaixell no és gaire agradable. L'activitat de pesca tampoc pensem que sigui massa adequada.

• Heather (10/5): - We had an amazing time on the La Regina Legend! After looking at so many options, we chose this cruise because we were after something quiet and authentic, not overly luxurious, just genuine, and it was perfect. The ship wasn’t huge or flashy, but it was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We did the 2-night, 3-day cruise and are so glad we chose that over the 1-night option, which felt a bit rushed watching others come and go. We could’ve honestly stayed longer—it was that relaxing! While you’re not cruising the whole time, just being out on the water with those stunning views and sunsets was enough for us. The food was delicious with big portions that kept us full (and we can eat!). The seats on our balcony looked great but weren’t the most comfy—still. They did the job. We loved going up to the rooftop for happy hour, though beer wasn’t included (still cheap, though!). One of the biggest highlights was how quiet the boat was. We saw lots of packed ships, but ours felt spacious and calm. The staff made the experience even more special. The ship manager and tour guide Jack were excellent, and our personal butler Gino went above and beyond, always there when needed and respectful when not. He even surprised my grandson with a birthday cake and had the crew sing, which made everything feel so personal. Thank you, Gino, we wish you all the best!! We truly hope to come back one day! The transfer boats could probably do with an upgrade, but looking around all the other ships had older transfer boats too, be mindful you need to catch a transfer boat to the big boat before you start your cruise, takes about half an hour, didn't bother us as we're use to small boats but may not suite everyone.
• Athulya Sindhu (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay at La Regina Legend. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our time there, and we were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to their beautiful Queen Suite. The entire property is top-notch and absolutely stunning. The food was delicious and exceeded our expectations. The staff were incredibly friendly, warm, and genuinely helpful—making our experience even more memorable. Jacuzzi wasn’t neat. Even thought the staff tried cleaning it twice, whenever refilled contaminated water with hair etc was getting filled in.

• Abdullah (10/5): - أشكر الطباخ الذي قام بإعداد الطعام حيث كانت الوجبات لذيذة جدا خاصة وجبة الغداء، كما أعجبتني طريقة تقديم العشاء، وقبل المغادرة قدمو لنا بوفية بسيط فطور متأخر أعجبني ذلك كثيرا، السرير مريح جدا، والكروز هادئ، الجولات كانت خفيفة وغير متعبة، كما يتم استقبالنا بعد كل جولة بمشروب بارد ومنعش، عند الحجز كتب أنه يشمل مساج أو سبا لكن في الحقيقة لا يشمل كما أن الوجبات غير شاملة سعر المشروب، بإمكانك إحضار مشروباتك معك لكن لا يوجد ثلاجة بالغرفة.

• Ana Belén (9/5): Fantástica pero demasiado relax - Se trata de un crucero de lujo. Camarote grande, muy limpio. Barco muy bien cuidado. Tras finalizar las actividades. No hay nada de diversión. La cena es a las 19:00h, tras ella, pesca de calamar y fin. Salvo que reserves spa. Y al haber solo 2 terapeutas no todo el barco puede irse al spa a las 21:00h-22:00h. Queda abierto el bar de la cubierta 4 hasta las 22:00h pero sin música. No significa que vayan a tener música hasta la madrugada pero al menos, un hilo musical hasta el cierre del bar.
• Emily (10/5): Worth every penny - Good sized room, food is a 5 course meal which is lovely, they catered well to my dietary requirements too. The activities are fun - kayaking, going in a cave and cycling round the fishing village! I would recommend doing 3D2N and go to the fishing village!
• Rajesh (9/5): Enjoyed the cruise. - We did a 2 Nights cruise and it was excellent. There are sufficient activities planned for both the days and it was very enjoyable. The staff is very considerate and take care of all your needs. The rooms are comfortable and the cocktails in the happy hours are excellent and we enjoyed them thoroughly. The food is excellent and taken care of to each guest's requirement by the staff. It was very humid and the A/c in the rooms are very weak during daytime. They perform well in the evening though.
• Christel (7/5): En dejlig oplevelse men ikke 5* som opholdet ellers er ranket som - Personalet var meget venligt og Halong Bay var en fantastisk oplevelse! De serverede lækker morgenmad (de andre måltider var også ok) og sengene var dejlige at sove i. Skibet var smukt men lidt slidt. Gulvet på toilettet i vores kahyt var løst omkring toilettet. Vinduerne var ikke pudset og det var ikke rigtig varmt vand i badet. Stolene på altanen var ikke særligt behagelige at sidde og dase i, da der ikke var nogen hynder.

The room was amazing, with a big jacuzzi in the center of the room, very impressive. We would like to sincerely thank the Staff here on this forum for making our stay so special. I would also like to highlight the meals on the ship — everything was very good, with a wide variety of food. We definitely needed more time for kayaking, we felt unfulfilled.

• Ankita (10/5): Excellent stay - We loved our stay at La Regina. Liam has been very supportive from arranging our transportation to helping us plan our day itinerary as well. He has been proactively assisting us with all requirements. Our room was a duplex suite. The view from room was enchanting. Mattresses were super comfortable. We had a very peaceful sleep. We had a wonderful time in bathtub. They fed us so much food, we were always full. The restaurant is where we have the most amazing view. We also went for numerous activities in the boat. Overall had a really luxorious stay and an amazing time. Shout out to all the staffs and Liam for his support throughout. Everything was perfect!

Le bevande non sono incluse nel prezzo e se la vostra camera menziona spa gratuita è comunque a pagamento e va prenotata con anticipo.
