• Gabriele (7/5): Klein, praktisch und günstig gelegen - Die Lage direkt am Bahnhof "Paradies" und nur 3 Minuten vom Stadtzentrum ist ideal für alle Aktivitäten in der Stadt Jena. Das Zimmer im Erdgeschoss war praktisch zu erreichen. Der Check-in mit Code verlief reibungslos. Die Pension ist klein mit sehr wenigen Zimmern und deshalb ist es im Haus immer sehr ruhig. Die Pension bietet lediglich Zimmer, aber keine Gastronomie. Im Bad gab es eine total verstopfte Dusche, aus der das Wasser nach oben gegen die Zimmerdecke spritzte, aber nicht nach unten auf die duschende Person.

• Gabriele (7/5): - Ich war vor Jahren schon einmal da, sogar im gleichen Zimmer. Ich fand die Unterkunft und das Zimmer damals sehr praktisch und völlig in Ordnung. Dieses Mal war das Zimmer - wenn überhaupt - nur sehr oberflächlich gereinigt worden. Es klebte überall. Auf dem Fußboden waren Reste von verschütteten und eingetrockneten Getränken. Im Badezimmer lagen ausgepackte Tabletten herum. Das Wasserglas war schmutzig. Schade!

• Astrid (9/5): Alles, was man braucht - Obwohl mein Zimmer zur Hauptstraße und zum Paradiesbahnhof lag, war die Nacht ruhig. Das Paradies ist nahe. Für den Fernseher fehlte eine Gebrauchsanweisung; die Sender ließen sich nicht einstellen. Zum Bad/ Toilette gab es eine recht hohe Stufe, die ich nachts nicht sah (Sturzgefahr).

• Friedhelm (8/5): Schöne Pension in bester Lage - Es ist einfach, aber es ist alles da. Die Lage am Rand der Altstadt und beim Bahnhof ist optimal. Das Zimmer war nicht geheizt, obwohl die Nachttemperatur noch unter die Nulllinie gefallen ist.
• Marcel (6/5): Zentrale, aber schlechte Lage mit Schönheitsfehlern - Die Lage war sehr zentral. Das Einzelzimmer und Bad waren relativ groß. Es war mit einem Kühlschrank und einem Wasserkocher mit Kaffee- und Teezubehör ausgestattet. Das Haus ist direkt am Busbahnhof gelegen, so dass ich z.T. direkt vor dem Fenster (Parterre) in vielleicht drei Meter Entfernung einen Bus stehen hatte mit laufendem Motor. Der Fernseher war nicht vernünftig programmiert, so dass man immer ewig nach Sendern suchen musste. In der Dusche gab's keine Handbrause, sondern nur einen fest installierten, großen Duschkopf direkt senkrecht über der Dusche. Trotz Buchung war kein Parkplatzschlüssel hinterlegt.

Die Lage ist perfekt Kleiner Nachteil durch die Lage direkt am Busbahnhof: da fahren ab 6.00 Uhr morgens Busse los. Das hört man natürlich. Aber es lagen Ohrenstöpsel bereit.

• Claudia (7/5): Für eine Nacht oder als Geschäftsreisende völlig ok - Das Zimmer war geräumig und groß, sehr sauber. Die Lage war sehr zentral, direkt am Bahnhof, Busbahnhof und Innenstadt. Die Dusche hatte einen festangebrachten Regenbrausekopf, ziemlich weit oben. Eine andere Möglichkeit gab es nicht. Man muss zwangsweise mit Haare waschen duschen, weil man komplett von oben bis unten nass wird. Besser wäre ein normaler Duschkopf den man beliebig verstellen kann. Zimmer waren sehr hellhörig, Stühle verrücken war so laut dass man dachte die werden im eigenen Zimmer verrückt.

• William (7/5): Comfortable basics by the train station - Generous ground floor space, good modern furnishing / outfitting including a water boiler + tea/coffee supplies. Windows faced the station but were adequately soundproofed. No luggage storage can be an issue since the Bahnhof has very few lockers, so I had to carry my backpack all over town. Strange noises came from the floor above, someone likely playing Video Games overnight. Arrival guidance provided only in German which I could follow. However why no English copy?

The room was okay but the whole house so noisy, you hear everything from the neighbours rooms and my window was right in front of the bus station so I heard every bus arriving and leaving.

Zimmer und Bad sehr sauber. Es gibt kein Frühstück aber Wasserkocher ist vorhanden und in unmittelbarer Nähe Bäckereien.

Die Lage am Busbahnhof und im Erdgeschoss wird mit allen Vor- und Nachteilen kommuniziert, daher hier kein Abzug. Positiv ist der Kühlschrank im Zimmer, ist keine Selbstverständlichkeit mehr. Zum Frühstücken ist die kleine französische Bäckerei gegenüber perfekt.

• DS (7/5): Abenteuerliche Einreise - Eine sehr gute Lage, Sauberkeit, ein bequemes Bett, Ruhe. Die Ausstattung ist ausreichend. Es gibt alles, was man für 1-2 Tage braucht. Einreise - ich konnte nicht rein, weil ich keine Information dafür rechtzeitig bekommen habe. Dank der DB sollte meine Einreise gegen 21 Uhr stattfinden. An der Reception war keiner telefonisch erreichbar. Ich habe versucht booking.com telefonisch erreichen. Erst 22.30 ist es mir gelungen das Kundenservice in London erreichen. Die Mitarbeiterin von booking.com hat mir Bescheid gegeben, dass ich eine Nachricht zur Einreise schon bekommen habe... vor wenigen Minuten, um 22.22!!! Also dauerte meine Anreise fast 1.5 Stunden und kostete mir viel Energie und Nerven.

• Petr (7/5): Good option for a short stay - Jena is a small city, so everything is within walking distance from the hotel. It's located next to a train station, however, this is not the main Jena's train station, and you will likely need to get to another one. Despite the train station, it's quite in the night. They claim the hotel is small, with only 10 rooms, but IMO the property itself is not that small. We didn't meet any staff, but they are monitoring video surveillance and can contact you, when you're next to the check-in machine. I didn't receive a code for self check-in in time, so had to ask them right before.

• Gordon (8/5): It was a very pleasant, if somewhat Spartan, stay. - Very conveniently located. The room was modern, comfortable, spacious and clean. And, despite the fact that the main train station and bus station were next door, it was a quiet night. The satellite TV connection was anything but optimal — apart from dozens (and I’m not exaggerating!) of duplicate channels from various parts of Germany, there were only a couple of non-government stations, and none of the international (and even independent German) news stations, such as BBC, CNN, TV5 Monde, etc. Worse still, there were umpteen shopping channels instead!
• Marian (8/5): All in all it was a good stay. Hotel is good for a place to sleep in if you are going around the city. Would be a bit lo - Very close to station paradies and bus and tram. Walking distance to the center. Easy check in and check out. The room is clean but lacking decors making it less cozy. Room is very spacious but that makes it look empty without decors. The room is a basic room for people to sleep. There is no personnel interaction as they give you instructions for check in before hand. Not that it’s a big deal but if you travel alone and have difficulties, will be harder to ask for help. The towels are to thin and short, hard to dry yourself with it. I think its a new hotel and they will still improve it in the future..

• Felix (8/5): Practical accommodations with an excellent location. - Check in was very easy, and the location cannot be beat. There is easy access to the train station, public transport, and the historical centre of Jena. There weren't that many people staying at the hotel during my stay, which made it very quiet, but the passing trains may be disturbing to some people. Management of the hotel is very hands off; more like an Airbnb than a hotel from that perspective. The property did feel a little sterile. However, management are responsive if there are issues.
