- Peter (9/5): Great food, great staff great facilities and use of pool and gym thanks v much - Good full English breakfast, staff happy to change things for dietary requirements, very friendly great location near flamborough.
- Sue (8/5): - Thank you to the hosts for providing a fan for the room. The pool, sauna and steam room were a bonus, very good value overall.

- Christine (9/5): -
- Adrian (8/5): - Nice location the room was good and the staff were pleasant
- Ernie (5/5): Very disappointed. Left before breakfast on morning of check out. Would not stay here again !!! - It was a good location just outside of main centre. No restaurant open on a Sunday after six. Main vent for kitchen just outside of room, noise and smell of kitchen. Hotel is dated and tired could do with a refurb !!
- Margaret (1/5): Disappointing. Unlikely to revisit as I will be surprised if you are still there next year. - It was hard to find something that I did like. The evening meal on the Friday was not available even though we checked in at 3.30 we were conveniently not told this until 7pm when we went to the restaurant for the meal
Breakfast on Saturday was late opening so had to leave without breakfast to make our appointment on time.
The room wasn't serviced in a 3 night stay and on our return each evening no sign of any staff to ask . Just a phone number if we needed anything.
No clean towels available in the leisure centre
On booking I asked about a packed lunch for Saturday and Sunday and was told to speak to Shane. On arrival no sign of Shane The man at reception phoned him who then told me 'we don't do pack lunches '. I'm puzzled why Shane asked me to speak to him ????
Poor selection of breakfast cereal. ... cocoa pops
The premises are looking tired and not in a good state at all and some areas are not very clean
- John (2/5): Would not recommend - Room was small, no chair just the bed. Very noisy, heard full phone conversation from next room twice. When toilet was flushed next door sounded like Niagara falls
- Steven (10/5): -
- Smith (8/5): I would definitely stay again - Good location with great facilities and very friendly sty Everything was good, no negatives
- Harry (10/5): - Every thing 0
- stuart (8/5): Nice people and a pleasant stay - Breakfast ok, although limited for myself as a vegetarian. Breakfast too early at 8am, seems to be organized more for people travelling for work.
- Szweda (10/5): -
- Lynne (10/5): Family friendly place to stay! - Lovely friendly owners made us feel welcome, nice tidy family room with good facilities.
Excellent breakfast! Bit far out from brid centre but lovely ❤️ local taxi companies are friendly and reasonable prices and wait times

- Donna (10/5): Amazing time bedroom was lovely and clean , thank you for making our time there lovely Shane and his wife - Lovely and clean ,hosts were amazing couldn’t do enough for you food was 10/10 best tomato soup ever definitely be coming back again

- Jack (6/5): - Nice place Room to hot had both windows open and a fan on all night but still to hot
- Matthew (10/5): - Loved the swim
- adele (7/5): 3 nights for work purposes - Close to all amenities Poor internet service & phone signal which was a struggle when working
- Rebecca (10/5): - The staff were so welcoming. The ambience of the hotel was so relaxed and chilled. The food was amazing. We would definitely recommend. Very good value for money.
- A (10/5): - Really nice friendly staff, clean room , excellent breakfast
- Andrew (1/5): What Stay they were closed, and I was stranded! - Nothing The Hotel and business was closed, there appeared to be no staff, they did not answer the telephone despite 3 calls. I arrived at 6.16pm which was 16 minutes past my 17.00 -18.00 approved check-in time.
- Angela (3/5): Can't use the pool. - The bed was comfy. The pool shut at 5.30 pm on Saturday, there was swimming lessons in the morning on Sunday so I could only use it between 8.30-9am,after breakfast I could not swim after eating a breakfast, I only booked it for the pool and never got to use it.
- Jeff (6/5): - Really nice room and great facilities but felt like we were a bit of an inconvenience by the way information at check-in was given. Suggested it would be helpful to check out early...
- Susan (5/5): Did the job for an overnight stay - More of a B & B than a hotel. Breakfast average.
- Pamela (8/5): Worth a stay if you want to drive to local places and and your day with a swim sauna and Jaccuzzi - The spa attached was amazing you could use once a day The staff were very friendly and professional No shops or facilities close by and the bus to Bridlington was once an hour yet it was only 10 mins away plus I had to pay £6 the same as someone who had travelled from Hull to Bridlington
- phil (9/5): -
- Perks (9/5): - Easy to find with free ample parking and located only a few miles away from the beach and Bridlington centre and old town.
Most pleasing was the super couple there, Sam and Shane, who gave a warm welcome and helpful advice and made the stay lovely. Also, a leisure club on site with a gym and pool was a relaxing extra we loved! No air conditioning, but a fan was in the room provided and was quiet, not noisy, so not a problem and windows opened, so breeze came through. Still slept well.
- Jones-Bishop (7/5): -
- Scott (8/5): -
- Marjorie (10/5): - Comfortable, relaxed & friendly. Very good location.
- Ernest (5/5): Short get away - The location Did not meet expectation. One person being reception, Bar staff, cook and cleaning staff. Hotel owners gone on holiday leaving one guy to do it allshort
- Wheaty1050 (8/5): -
- Lesley (7/5): Ok for one night stay but don’t think I’d rush back. - It was in a central spot and convenient for what we wanted Very restricted breakfast in terms of what was offered - no cereals or fruit. Only offered cooked breakfast which is not for everyone. Had to ask for tea and coffee. Breakfast was only available between 8-9 every day which is not particularly good when on holiday. Bar was not particularly well stocked. Set seemed very disjointed. Staff were pleasant enough
- makem (1/5): -
- Martin (9/5): -
- Barry (10/5): - The owner is so polite and helpful it’s unbelievable what a great person he is even sorted us a taxi and the breakfast was great too will stop here again thanks for a great time away
- Tracey (10/5): The Ferns - Host and hostess very welcoming and helpful, excellent food and beer in the pub, fan in the room, easy parking, a good night's sleep. Really enjoyed a swim in the leisure centre. It was a bit hot in the room, but then an incredibly hot day, but with fan on it was ok.
- Mark (7/5): - Staff very friendly and helpful. Good value for money with breakfast included. Bathroom needs some attention.
- Chris (10/5): Nothing too much trouble, excellent service by Shane and his team. - Good price, excellent staff, comfortable and clean. Ideally situated. N/A
- Craig (1/5): I refused to stay having discussed the accommodation with the hotel. - Nothing The room was dirty, the bedding was unclean, the bathroom was dirty and the room door would not close
- Bernd (8/5): - Uitstekend bed
- Rosemary (4/5): Very disappointed , will not be returning - Location was ok. The one member of staff we saw, did his best. Cleanliness could have been better. Attention to detail, ie curtain rail had been taken down, holes not filled and painted over. We had the boiler room next to our room which was extremely noisy and kept us awake all night. It was turned off on our second night after complaining. Whole hotel needs some TLC. Breakfast was passable but no evening meals were available
- Mark (10/5): 1980 hotel thats been neglected - First sight of the hotel made me think its was a bit run down, outside paint work and car park (that was of a good size) needed some TLC. On going in the Hotel was busy, the 2 staff that where there were very friendly and helpful. Check-in was fine room was ok for me ( bathroom needed to be made over) i was in room 12 facing the road so if you a light sleeper not the best room as you face the main road.
Martin who was holding the fort was on his own most of the time and did what he could to help guests, he is the chef and the meals that he did where 5 star.
Behind the hotel is a Leisure Club, the pool and jacuzzi was a very nice place to relax at the end of the day.
- John (6/5): The staff were pleasant and helpful. The hotel served a purpose for somewhere to stay, not again. - Breakfast was OK, choice of cereal and full English with jam condiments for toast. No choice of bread just white no brown.
The sausages were awful and no choice of the way eggs were cooked if there usually is there was no offer. The staff were attentive and pleasant and breakfast came in good time though not many people were staying there. Also which was a drawback breakfast was only available between 8am-9am. The hotel needs a bit of TLC as it is looking tired in parts although the bar had a good selection and prices were reasonable. We had a meal each in the restaurant sausage and Mash and chilli with rice. £15 each and they both very poor so we made sure we ate elsewear.
- Mr Francis (6/5): A bit rundown - Weather was too hot so I left early, Room was too hot.
Pool area was nice,
Bar was not open till 2pm with not many places to eat nearby
- Paul (8/5): -
- Ian (7/5): -
- Les (4/5): With little effort could have been so much better. - Breakfast - Very Good - as requested - hot - quickly delivered Lack of staff - Proprietors away - one man and his teenager daughter were having to do everything - booking in and showing rooms - bar service - taking meal orders and cooking so service was very slow - hour for meal. As he said, trying to cook on his own for 22 meals was not optimal! Wife's chips all burnt and not edible but everything alse was very good.
Shower was unusable - temperature control was stuck on scalding - reported it. No anti-slip mat in shower. No hairdryer.
Room was right next to the industrial kitchen extractor so couldn't sit in room while in operation
- Amy (10/5): Lovely - Friendly staff go above and beyond
they make you feel comfortable like a home away from home
- Andrew (10/5): - Situated in a perfect location, plenty of parking, lovely staff, Breakfast was ok but 1 sausage and 1 slice of bacon, im a growing boy i need at least 2 of each.
- andrew (10/5): Great food Nice stay - Fantastic food including the breakfast nothing
- jill (4/5): Very tired property - The bed was comfortable and staff friendly The hotel was very antiquated and our room smelled like a care home. The WiFi didn’t work and when informed the owner, he's response was that everyone had said that this evening -wasn’t bothered that guests had a problem. The breakfast was poor with no options.
- Andrew (10/5): Fantastic location. Great grub. Lovely people. - Fantastic location.
Great grub.
Lovely people.
- Paul (10/5): - Nice friendly host food was amazing what more could you ask for 😁👍
- Jason (10/5): - Everything
- Joe (8/5): - Late booking . Good location . Easy booking in . Bargain price with full English breakfast.
- Paul (8/5): Good, would stay again. -

- Phillip (10/5): -
- Craig (10/5): - Lovely place , food was good and facilities are brilliant
- Neil (10/5): - I liked everything about the hotel. Very helpful staff and great food and very clean. I couldn't have asked for better Nothing
- Guest (7/5): Good night's sleep - The room was bijou but perfectly adequate for my needs. Very clean, very comfy bed and a brilliant shower. I had an evening meal which was fine with some local beer. Nice cooked breakfast. Friendly staff It was a bit odd not to have teapots at breakfast
- David (7/5): - Location. No hair dryer in room.
- Adele (10/5): - The food was amazing 👏 and spa was lovely nice and chilled. ❤️ Everything was perfect 👌
- helen (8/5): - Friendly host, clean, comfortable bed, nice breakfast. Good value for money

- THOMAS (7/5): -
- Rod (9/5): -
- Keith William (8/5): -
- Douglas (10/5): Fantastic hotel - Everything about the hotel and staff was excellent you could not wish for more
- Lauren (9/5): - More than accommodating, very friendly. Will definitely return The bar area closed at 6pm as it was Sunday and this is their night off. This wasn’t a problem but wasn’t advertised so we weren’t aware and had planned to spend the evening in the bar area. They did advise good places to attend with young children though.
- RONALD (10/5): THAT GOOD WILL GO BACK AGAIN - TOP CLASS BREAKFAST SAM & SHANE FIRST CLASS HOSTSNOTHING NOTHING
- darren (8/5): -
- Brian (8/5): Excellent value for money. - Quiet location out of town. Easy parking. Friendly hosts. Bathroom a bit small.
- Andrew (10/5): Great location. Great grub. Nice rooms. - Ideal for business. Nice pub.
- Balme (9/5): Very good - Very good
- Mark (7/5): Good location, good facilities - Staff were very friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking, didn't use the pub to eat as we were visiting family so only needed it as a base but plenty of peoole eating and looked good. Facilities looked good but again unused. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Rooms and hotel were warm and clean. Loved the size of the room, plenty spacious, a little dated but I'm OK with that perfectly functional. With a young family and in our room for the night by 7-8, I will say walls are thin. You can clearly hear general talking and what TV programme other guests watch in adjoining rooms when they return. The only negative
- diane (7/5): Would recommend this hotel and would certainly visit again - Nice location and hotel. Good facilities but unfortunately not there long enough to take advantage of them. Good breakfast and staff very helpful On my arrival the tv didn't work but was replaced after a bit of a wait. Had the impression the hotel was busy and struggling due to being understaffed
- Tony (10/5): - Very nice hotel friendly staff
Lovely breakfast

Restaurant & bar were good value.
