Landhotel Fernblick

My rental car broke down, had to stay the night somewhere and this hotel was the closest place with wheelchair access. Not only was I blown away by this establishments charm and breath taking view, the people were amazing! The food OMG the food so good!! However my experience went past room and food. Marc (Chef), literally rescued my Dad and I. We were stranded without a car, did not speak German and needed to get back to Amsterdam to make our flight. Marc spoke English/German, understood my situation and did not hesitate to help me. He spoke to everyone on the phone for me and coordinated everything. Within about 2-3 hours, I had a car again. All thanks to Marc, and the help of his family, the wonderful staff and guests.

I did not like that the rental car broke down.

Trotz später Ankunft abends habe ich noch ein leckeres Nachtessen gekriegt (Flammkuchen). Die Lage war ländlich idyllisch und sehr gut zum Gassi-Gehen. Die Nähe zur Autobahn war sehr praktisch.

We had a very good dinner here on the last evening of our holiday. On a nice terrace with a beautifull view over the country side, tasty food, very big portions.

It was lovely. Great staff, fantastic room and fabolous breakfast. Comfortable bed, spacious bathroom.

Located not far from the motorway which was important to us as this was a travelling stop. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was good.

Very busy when we arrived (approximately 6pm) causing a wait to check in. Limited parking area.

Breakfast was very nice. The room was well arranged for a family of 4 with a nice view.

We arrived fairly late so tea and coffee making facilities in the room would've been nice but no big deal.

Great staff, location, food and room!

Nice room with a good view from the terrace. Spacious room with a comfortable bed. Excellent restaurant with a elaborate menu and excellent food.
