Absolutely amazing location for the hotel as the bottom of the Sassi - some amazing restaurants at your front door. Hosts were amazing. Lovely breakfast

"A chic hotel in an unforgettable city."

The location couldn’t have been better as it was two minutes from two excellent restaurants - Oi Marì and Conzato and a six minute walk ( all uphill ) from a supermarket. The hotel was minimalist in the best sense of the word and integrated modern amenities and a beautiful old building seamlessly. MATERA itself is a marvel. I highly recommend taking a tour with ApeVito as he explained the history of the city in a way that you could only get with a native of this amazing place.

It was not possible to adjust the AC to cool down the room sufficiently.
