Rowley Manor Hotel

Lovely location, and grounds. Room, bathroom were pleasing (bridal suite). Wait at check-in, staff non-attentive, food was nice that we had but we didn't get all we asked for, and staff weren't around to ask... Overall felt dated/aimed at the older-generation.

Nice place with plenty of character in quiet surroundings. Friendly and welcoming check in, evening meal and beer were fine and breakfast was very nice. Slight gripe about the top floor room which was a bit pokey but as I was on my own and only staying one night it wasn't a problem and overall it was ok for the money. What was a pain was the car park being in amongst some large trees, I was carefull not to park directly beneath any overhanging branches but that didn't prevent my car being plastered with gooey sap. Please don't think that I consider the appearance of my car more important than the lovely old trees and long may they continue to grow there but washing the car wasn't on my list of jobs for the day.

Rowley Manor is a old Manor house in need of a lick of paint outside and gardens better looked after inside is good with settees chairs etc scattered about is very clean Is old England expected to see Poirot or Miss Marple around the corner staff were very good but my time here was a little spoilt by a really expensive badly cooked steak sent it back and came back not much better it was scorched on top and dry not what you expect for the price my wifes meal was ok we get a lovely succulent steak and bottle of wine for two at our local for £30 not £25 for one and ruined we ate at the Toby Inn up the road the next night very good £22 for two Carvery inc glass wine and coke.Ps don't have the rooms at the top is up a very narrow winding stair we changed .

It is our third visit and Rowley manor is full of character, friendly staff, lovely rooms, hi speed WiFi, very good food. The setting is quiet and in rural surroundings. The water pressure is quite low but hasn’t put us off. I’d recommend this hotel wholeheartedly.

Beautiful property. Lovely location. Staff team were all great - couldn’t do enough for me really good, professional but friendly and approachable. Dinner was delicious and I was able to order off the main menu despite having celiac disease as the chef worked with me in that with no fuss at all. Breakfast was also delicious with plenty of choice - gluten free corn flakes produced as soon as I said about being celiac. Very clean and comfortable room. Highly recommend this property and hope to return.

Lovely old manor house. Staff were extremely friendly snd helpful. Comfortsble bed and ckean room. The only downside is the sound proofing between the rooms is not great. We can hear the gyests next door talking and moving around quite clearly.

The room didn’t match the rest of the hote, very springy bed and outdated fixtures , up until walking through bedroom door the hotel is gorgeous.

Warm friendly staff, lovely ambience but felt the weddings that were to be held was more important than the other paying guests.

Beautiful old country house hotel, great staff who clearly cared and the downstairs areas were very pleasant. The bedroom was a little dated, basic and unfortunately the bathroom was very old. Needs a little tlc on the rooms but for the price it was a really good find.
