Professional dive masters for diving… wish them to complete their extension to have more rooms

Dirty bathroom with extremally rusty shower and cold water. Even for man conditions were not convinient. Dive Resort with asked for black water diving and I travelled 10 000km from Europe for it. Two days before arrival they informed unfortunate Black water is not available because lights are broken but they can offer bonfire and will be also very entertaining. I was thinking to change resort but my mistake was that I trusted they are professional. Unfortunately I arrived and it turns out after warm up dives that bonfire dive also cannot be organized and they will offer super amazing night dive. With no other option I went for it and that was mistake. No thing unusual underwater, few octopus, and snake. Dive like I had hundreds already without traveling half of the globe. That was extremally unprofessional and huge disapointment. All next 2 resort we visited were much better with also better dives and not cheating customer. To add into whole bad experience very overpriced food like no where in philipines even not in Manila or crab in eldnodo. As a example tuna sandwich for around 600peso turned out to be sandwitch with tuna from can which you can buy for less than 40p in every shop.that was really scam. To add into overall bad experience cats jumping into table where you eat. I understand resort is pet friendly and I do not have anything against animals but staff should not allow cats sleeping on table or bothering you all the time when you eat.

We loved Blue Ribbon - a small hotel designed for divers. The diving was excellent and Jeff was a first class frogfish spotter (although we tried but ultimately failed to find a waddling one...). All the staff working at the hotel/dive centre were kind, friendly and hard-working. The rooms are basic but you have everything you need, and the bed was comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the food offered by the restaurant. For such a small hotel there really was an exceptionally large menu and everything we ate we would have re-ordered. We recommend.

Initially we got a room with sea view. Then we had to move to a room without a view. They said they made a mistake and the rooms with seaview had already been booked by someone else. The dive shop/school staff is not properly trained. During scuba diving they were pushy to make me do as many dives as possible, to make money. Afterwards I was unwell. The dive master had cramp in legs and fingers. Also, the boat staff tried to hurry me but I insisted on checking my equipment first, as is standard procedure. Dive staff need proper training and proper supervision, otherwise there will be accidents in future!

Diving facilities, staff, food and rooms were all really great and they organised everything.

There just for diving like most people, but it still needs to offer slightly more entertainment facilities on location, for kids if they were to join you and local sightseeing trips in the area.

this is an area without sand on the beach, but this is valid not only for this hotel, but for whole coast at this area
