Lub d Koh Samui Chaweng Beach - Beachfront Vibrant Social Vibe

Great location! Staff are so friendly, and there are many activities planned and recommended by Lub D.. Perfect laze cushions by the beach, infinity pool, awesome DJ spins every night. It's the perfect stay for the price we paid for. Will recommend it to everyone going to Koh Samui. Keep it up guys!

Right on the beach, directly in the heart of all the action that the Chaweng area has to provide. It was absolutely amazing! Only minutes from the airport, it is the perfect location. Beach is stunning. Warm, crystal clear water. No rough surf as there is a rock cliff 100+m off shore. Perfect for swimming. Staff were amazing, attentive to every need. 2 pools, one of which has a pool bar, and the other facing the ocean. Spent 2 nights in a dorm, and 3 nights in a private room. Only 8 beds in the dorm, but with the privacy curtain, you feel as though you're the only one. As for someone who has spent a lot of time in hostels, this one had some or the nicest shared bathrooms that I've seen! The private rooms were great. You would think that you're staying in a 4 star hotel. One of the comfiest beds I've ever been on ! Every night there is an activity to be had, and everyone goes out of their way to make you feel involved. I honestly cannot stress enough how great this hostel was. Next time I'm in Koh Samui, I'll definitely stay at Lub D!! Sleep well my friends!

Wow - I love this hostel. I booked a private room and it was exactly as pictured. The room was clean, comfy and modern. The location is right on the beach and there are two swimming pools as well. The overall atmosphere at Lub D is fun and hip. The DJ is awesome, wifi is outstanding, and even if you aren't the "partying type" you'll still enjoy your stay. I had no problems with noise and would highly recommend staying here.

At Lub D, they really want to create this hotel experience for travelers even if you sleep in dorms. Pros √ Extremely comfortable beds and pillow. √ Free beach AND shower towel. √ Enormous lockers. √ Amazing pools and ambiance (live music during the day). √ Lots of activities organized by the Lub D activity manager daily. √ Literally on the beach (Amazing beach). √ Central area. √ Party hostel (cool if you want that) Cons √ Party hostel (not cool if you don't want that) √ More expensive than the average dorm.

Lub D is simply a great hotel to stay at! Its new, it has a beautiful beachfront, it has great facilities & this hotel is perfectly located in the heart of all the action! Soi Green Mango & Hard Rock is just a few mins walk away! Pls try out SON SAMUI seafood restaurant for lobsters, crabs & fish... one of the best!! This hotel is neighbours with ARK BAR BEACH RESORT where the beach partys are awesome! You also get to have your b'fast (1 meal) antytime between morning till evening! A special tq to Ms Koi at frontdesk & Mr Tonh at housekeeping. They were very helpful! Cons: the sewerage smell from the entrance of hotel, till the 2nd floor of Building 1 is overwhelming & something really needs to be done about it. Also, service by staff at pool area/b'fast could definitely be better in terms of responsiveness & being a bit friendlier. Biggest bummer for me was not being able to charge my drinks to my room?? Am i supposed to be carrying cash or card in & out of pool or beach? But seriously, beside that, i would still highly recommend Lub D @ Chaweng Koh Samui! Its very nice!

It was amazing! But I want to mention we booked the boat ticket from the agent just at the hotel entrance. We couldn't collect the ticket because they didn't pay the office at the pier. So we nearly missed the ferry:( not good. If anyone reads this, you can buy the ticket at the pier office for 300 B instead of through the agent.
