Magnifique hôtel intimiste : 4 chambres et 4 villas. Très beau site avec des très beaux jardins. Mention spécial pour la villa plage spacieuse et lumineuse. Avec une vue magnifique et une très belle décoration et un niveau d'équipement haut de gamme. Petites attentions comme la mise à disposition dans la villa d'un tapis de yoga.(génial pour des séances quotidiennes face à la mer !) Très bonne literie et très bonne douche avec une bonne pression d'eau. Cuisine excellente avec un super chef passionné et très gentil. Personnel aux petits soins et adorable. Massages excellents avec un très bon rapport qualité prix. L'ensemble des extras est d'ailleurs d'un très bon rapport qualité prix. il n'y a pas de plage a proprement parler (rochers) mais cela n'empêche pas la baignade à marée haute et c'est ainsi dans ce coin de l'ile. l'hotel met à disposition des chaussures de plage bienvenues pour marcher sur le reef nous avons apprécié aussi les petites activités proposées (balades sur le reef, tressage de feuilles de palmier) et globalement les équipements mis à disposition (jeux de carte/dominos, badmington, paddle, masques etc...)

Gros bémol temporaire (qui nous empêche de mettre 10) : il y a un chantier de construction d'un nouvel hôtel à 600 m environ. Début des travaux 7h30 jusqu'à18h non stop 7j/7j. Et ils en sont au début des travaux. Cela génère une bruit de fond de marteaux piqueurs toute le journée. On arrive à passer outre mais ce n'est pas le calme attendu. Nous avons été déçus que la direction ne propose aucun geste pour compenser cette gêne. l'hôtel n'est pas responsable mais ne semble pas réaliser le désagrément que ce chantier occasionne. plus anecdotique : l'hotel pourrait installer une échelle en corde au bout du ponton pour éviter de marcher dans les rochers en sortant de l'eau musique parfois un peu forte le soir au bar /restaurant mais le volume a été baissé à chaque fois que nous l'avons demandé.

The location, service, staff and food were all excellent. I couldn’t fault anything. The staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us.

The best hotel I've ever been to! Amazing staff - not intrusive but very helpful. Diverse, delicious food. Beautiful, spacious room. Unbelievable garden with monkeys and bushbabies. Spa with a wide range of massages. Last but definitely not least, lots of cuddly cats :) I recommend this hotel to everyone who looks for some peace

Superb! This has by far been the most luxurious and calm hotel stay my husband and I have ever experienced. If you are lucky enough to find an available room/villa here - book!! The area and gardens are so beautiful and well kept. The staff is amazing, so calm, personable, happy and polite. The food is amazing with a new theme every night. The rooms and villa (we got to see both) are stunning. The spa treatments are great. Each time we had a question, the whole staff, and when applicable even the manager, were so engaged in helping us. We thought that we during our stay in Zanzibar would want to visit different beaches, but we decided to stay in the hotel and the beach here every day since it was so perfect. Paradise! We did not want to check out.

My husband and I had a fantastic 4 night stay at Tikitam Palms. We stayed in the Sultan Villa, which was spacious ans very clean with a lovely outdoor area and sea view. The experience was incredible from start to finish. The best part of our stay was that the hotel is so private. There are only 8 rooms/villas in total so it is very peaceful. It was clear to us from reviews and the hotel website that there was not a pristine beach but the water is clear and warm and you can take a lovely reef walk with shoes from the beach to see find marine life such as star fish. You have to avoid the seaweed but we prefer nature to be natural and not artificially manicured. Inside the hotel grounds, the sand area and pool feel as though you are on a beautiful beach. The hotel have done a fantastic job to keep the style of the outdoor hotel area in keeping with the surrounding landscape. The photos really don’t do the hotel grounds justice for us because there are several flower and tree lined pathways, which attract a wide variety of butterflies, monkeys and birds - a nature lovers paradise. The hotel is located a short drive, or 20 minute cycle on the hotel’s bikes, from Kiwengwa. We have been to Zanzibar several times and therefore enjoyed being a bit further out of the way. However, it is not difficult to get a taxi to other parts of Zanzibar. We personally enjoyed the tranquility of the location and were still able to explore the local towns and go Scuba Diving to Mnemba Island. There are approximately 50 staff in total including all those behind the scenes. All staff were very friendly and welcoming and we would like to highlight the excellent service from Judith, J4, the chef (we didn’t catch his name) and Juma the activity coordinator, who is extremely talented at weaving - definitely worth talking to as he is really very impressive! The Masai security guards were very kind and took security very seriously. The massages were also wonderful from Sunny and well priced for a luxury experience. The food was delicious and showcased local produce. They also took food hygiene very seriously and were highly attentive and knowledgeable about allergies. We cannot recommend this hotel enough! You really must stay there.

Tikitam Palms Boutique Hotel Pongwe I stayed at Tikitam Palms for six days and had such a lovely experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt well looked after. I was picked up at the airport by Slim, who not only navigated the roads with ease, avoiding pot holes, tuk-tuk’s, cattle-driven carts and numerous cars and buses, but also shared so much interesting history about Zanzibar and Tanzania during the drive. It was like having a mini guided tour before I’d even checked in. When I arrived, Judith at reception greeted me with such warmth and kindness. She showed me around the hotel and made sure I was settled in. I stayed in the Safari Room, which was spacious, clean and comfortable. The four-poster bed was a nice touch, and the coconut and lime toiletries smelled amazing. I also loved sitting out on the small patio, looking out at the greenery. It was so peaceful. The food was consistently good. Chef Mubarak prepared delicious meals every day, and the service was excellent. I just would have liked to have seen more local Zanzibari dishes offered during my stay. Gertrude, the manager, was always around and happy to help with anything. She has such a calming presence and runs things with care and diligence. The spa was another highlight. Sunni is amazing at what she does. I left each treatment feeling relaxed, lighter, and a bit younger, too. I also took the Stone Town and the Spice Farm tours again with Slim and the tour guide Habeeb through the hotel, and that day was fantastic. Filled with learning, laughter and great conversation. At times, it also became quite emotional. I am one of those people who only knew about spices in a jar; now I know how they grow. Overall, Tikitam Palms is a beautiful, tranquil place to unwind. What makes it extra special is the people. I left feeling calm, refreshed, and very grateful.

Our stay at Tikitam Palm Beach Zanzibar was absolutely perfect. The property is surrounded by lush greenery and is tastefully decorated with elegant furniture — peaceful, spacious, and spotlessly clean. The food was outstanding. The chef and his team are truly talented, creatively blending flavors and always taking our dietary preferences into account. The staff was incredibly kind, helpful, and respectful — always present but never intrusive. A true haven for anyone looking to relax in nature, with great comfort and style. Highly recommended!

Absolutely unbelievable! They did everything possible for us. It was the best holiday from our life and we are a simple couple that visited before almost 30 countries. The chefs are cooking diverse and they made us to love things that we tried before and we didn’t like. The place is integrated so well in the nature, you don’t need to visit Jordani forest because resort has everything that is there. Location super good, also you can count each time on their recommendations. They knew to create super romantic dinner for us and for my birthday they exceeded any expectations. 11 stars experience. We just hope we were good tourists for them because they were making a simple holiday to be the honeymoon that everyone desire. PS Super safety resort.

There is no shop nearby, you have to go by taxi. Breakfast is the same everyday
