Las Bandurrias Eco Hostal

We had an excellent stay at the Las Bandurrias Eco Hostal. The hostal located at a plateau above Cochamo offered a beautiful view from our room and the terrace to the Reloncavi estuary and the surrounding volcanoes. After a long day on the road we were happy to find a warm and cozy place. Our spaceous room with a private bathroom was very clean as well as the shared kitchen facilities. Ignacio was such a wonderful and caring host. He was very flexible in order to prepare an excellent full early breakfast at 6:00 am as we had to leave early for a hiking tour. He also provide great support in order to organize gasoline for our rental car from a neighbour.

The host and organizer Ignazio was very friendly and attentive, he also gave us tips about restaurants and what to do/see in the area. The accommodation was beautiful, clean and very cozy with a breathtaking view!

Sylvi is a wonderfull and kind host. The location is all nature, wonder and tranquility. Beautyfull view on the fjord and surrounding mountains. Good star watching spot. Buildings and rooms are all wooden structures, clean and comfortable. Good shower facility. Sylvi will help you anyway she can to answer your questions.

The road up is quiet steep with a lot of deep put holes to be reckoned with. No complaints further.

By far the best hospitality we've had travelling. Sylvie went above and beyond in making our trip a success all the way through our stay as well as post checkout. The location was in a beautiful setting with breathtaking views. The accommodation was exceptional, exceeding our expectations. Our room was spotless, the beds were very comfy, the living area was spacious and beautifully designed with great outdoor seating. We couldn't recommend this place enough.

Nothing - it was perfect for us. It is a way out of the village but there is a walking path down the hill.

The views from the property are jaw-dropping and the property is in excellent shape. It is clean and attractive, inside and out. The owner, Sylvie, is wonderful! She is kind, thoughtful, funny, and a joy to chat with. She had great suggestions for things to do in the area. She made us feel at home. If you are considering booking here, just do it!
