Dolce Vita

The facility is a few kilometers away from main roads (for example motorway) on footsteps of mount Etna. Easy to find. The room is quite big, comfy, extremely clean and comfortable. You also get all typical room amenities like hairdryer, air condition, fridge, tv,... nothing to complain. They have their own parking, what is also great. The facility is 900 m for spot where Lava stream ended its flow in 1992. Visit! The host is also very kind. We forgot phone charger at the facility and it was shipped to our country without any problem.

I can find only nitpicks: - the breakfast is not typical "continental" - the host brings stuff from local bakery. I missed option of bread and ham a bit, but ok. On the first day we got items filled with creme and the host realised we don't eat items with so much creme. Next day offering was better. Very kind! - it was a bit cold on our arrival (season time of course). The AC did its job well (what is a + again). - the room door isolation could be better - if anyone talks in the kitchen he will wake you up.

Caterina ist eine super aufmerksame und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin, hat jede Menge Tipps auf Lager zu Aktivitäten, Restaurants und mehr. Sehr gutes Frühstück, angepaßt an unsere Wünsche. Es gibt mehrere Honig-Sorten, die bei uns unbekannt sind. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, ruhig, mit Tür zum kleinen Garten. Parkplatz auf abgeschlossenem Grundstück. Höchst eindrucksvoll: Ätna-Ausbruch mit drei Lavaströmen bei Nacht

Die Anfahrt von der Autostrada her ist etwas langwierig (Wohnung liegt auf 600m Höhe), dafür ist man schnell an der Ätna-Seilbahn. Asche vom Vulkan erschwerte die Nutzung der Gartenmöbel. Der Ätna hatte gerade einen Ausbruch.

The owner was very welcoming. She catered to all our needs and also helped us to rent a car and gave us advise of interesting plsces to visit.

Właścicielka bardzo miła, kontaktowa, apartament czysty, łóżka wygodne. Dobra bazą wypadowa do zdobycia Etny. Śniadanie z wypiekami z lokalnej piekarni, jogurty, właścicielka przygotowała również pyszną kawę i sok z czerwonych sycylijskich pomarańczy (pyszny). W nocy ciepło, komfotowo.

Jak przyjechaliśmy było zimno, właścicielka włączyła piecyk na pellet oraz klimatyzację, zrobiło się ciepło i przyjemnie, ale miło by było jakby było ogrzane przed przyjazdem.

Soggiornare a Dolce Vita è come essere a casa e in più coccolati. Caterina è un'ospite perfetta che ti sa anche consigliare come spendere al meglio il tempo della tua vacanza. Così come lo scorso anno, torneremo ancora la prossima estate, per una breve sosta, l'Etna merita.

Quiet and private apartment with terrace with views of the coast. We had the whole place to ourselves. Delightful host!! Everything we needed as well as plenty of coffee, tea and juice. Delicious breakfast. Very convenient for Etna and Taormina
