Hotel Hacienda Flamingos

The chapel and the pool were very nice . Had a great time . Would book a room again .

I had a rocky start at reception when they couldn’t find my booking and had no English to communicate, and were insisting on a cash payment at a higher tariff. A reluctant call finally sorted that issue, but an interesting 20 minutes after a tiring long trip. But after being personally shown to my room through the beautifully appointed ‘Mexican’ central courtyard and , later, the garden and pool areas, the early problem evaporated. HHF is NOT a 5 star resort, but clean , comfortable and presenting a colorful , happy tranquility.

Lovely Hotel and nice setting

We stayed at this amazing hotel for 4 nites and will definitely be back. It was so beautifully maintained and the staff so kind and helpful. The stay includes a delicious breakfast. The bed was very comfortable and room beautifully decorated. There are many authentic historical pieces on display in the open air atrium with fountain. It is a converted hacienda originally built in 1789 and renovated in the 1940s. San Blas has an interesting history and there are many historical sites to see in this lovely town. The hotel is walking distance to plaza and great restaurants.

I know the language is Spanish , but tourists come to the area and it is necessary for English to be spoken which it was not

This is a wonderful hertitage hotel. It's beautifully restored and the staff are excellent. The interior courtyard doubles as a museum, there are gardens, a pool, even a private chapel. The rooms are individually decorated and very comfortable. We would recommend this hotel to everyone.
