lovely place with friendly owner very good place when you compare the price

The rooms are neat.

There was no daily cleaning of the rooms or changing of bed linen. The location is horrible, we had to travel to the north side on a daily basis-not worth it. What made it worse is the host sleeping in the lounge right infront of our room on a daily basis, It looked like we were being monitored for something- not a very comfortable experience.

large room, clean, well-equipped kitchen, close to the market, next to a large bus stop, Sylwana was very nice and helpful

Transfer organised by the property was very easy and stress free which was great after a long flight. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is very central right by the market in Mahebourg. Unfortunately the air con was not working which made it very hard to sleep (there was a fan though) and new air con units were delivered while we were there so I guess it will be sorted soon. The room could have been a bit cleaner and the drain in shower was clogged. All in all would benefit from a little TLC but fine for the price and for a short stay
