Yellow Sun Kampot

For me this place is light and shadow. At first view I loved it. Directly at the river with a nice hang out area it looks very cozy. We had a bungalow with shared bathroom. They have a restuarant with very good prices, very good portions for the price and actually delicious. Also some non hotel guests came to have food and chill out.

Well the restaurant/ hang out area is not properly cleaned. One time we sat to a table which was not cleared and after an our it was still not cleared so I brought all classes cups and garbage to the counter. Also food is good, there was a living work in my food crouching and snacking. But the male volunteer working there handled the situation very very good! Plus point for him. On the mosquito net of our room was. A lot of poop of what ever animal, this is really not nice when moving in. Shower and toilet facilities partly broken. One evening the toilet smelled somehow cheesily bad. I came back and my whole feed had that awefull smeel. I needed two days to get that away, even after scrubbing the feet, my flip flops I threw away cause the smell didn't disappear. Sounds weird but that's how it was. It's a budget place, OK, but cleanlessness and clean food must me giving, no matter what price you pay, there can't me compromises.

A very good experience. Everything was very clean. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing. The staff was excellent and very friendly. I highly recommend it. Thank you, friends!
