"Self contained ‘cortijo’ accommodation with amazing pool"

Atmospheric cortijo with just three units in a peaceful landscaped setting. Amazing pool with views across wild hills. 5 min drive inland from Agua Amarga which is one of the nicer Cabo de Gata towns. Nice that each of the two bedrooms had its own bathroom (Cala de Plomo Suite).

Units are interestingly decorated and well equipped but a bit dated. Bedrooms are fairly tight.

"Very beautiful, arty, colourful, comfortable and relaxing place ."

Location was great very close to a lovely village and beach. You do need a car for sure. Got lovely fresh eggs from the hens and had bread for us as well which was a nice touch.

Like most things the kitchen could be stocked better as when you have children you make food for them more and the hours of restaurant didn’t suit the youngest. Would have prefer a microwave oven rather than a small oven there. I’m sure if we asked we would have got the stuff we needed but we survived with what we had. Be nice if they Surplies beach towels as well as pool towels as we had to buy some and be nice to have pool toys etc fir the kids again we bought them and left them there so hopefully other children will use them.
