We stayed for 2 nights, thankful of the lovely weather. This place is practical, but very unloved. Some of the comments previous are years old but the place still has the same issues. Chipped plates, none that match. Kickboards not fitted, cupboard doors hanging off, microwave with balance issues. No tea towels provided. Sofa was super comfy, but why stick such a large tv in the corner it’s not practical. The outside was grim, looking at bins and store cupboards. For a no smoking residence it was lovely to find a rusted, full, fag end bucket by the door. Too dangerous to move. The windows in the patio needed a good clean full of smears. It felt unclean. The floor tile that was cracked still has not been replaced. The pool was cloudy and green and the hot tub was unpleasant. The when you get upstairs hairy carpets. Yak! Then shower in the twin room is not for anyone over a size 14 you can’t move. And the bath is broken. The bathrooms need a face lift. Thanks for the loo roll and hand wash.

It was comfortable and had everything we needed. My grandsons loved their stay and want to go again next year.

Smell of the shower

Beds were super comfortable, facilities in the cottage were great. Very close to Aberystwyth University which was the reason for our visit.

It was quite big

The property was very dated and showed a lot of signs of neglect. The tv would not connect to the WiFi and the signal was poor on mobiles. This resulted in not being able to watch anything on the tv apart from about 3 channels. Outside the property was very bleak and looked like craggy island. There was a lot of noise from other properties until late in the night. Sounded like a party

Really quiet location and perfect for a getaway from the City rush.

It needs a really good clean, toilet had lots of splash-back dirt from previous visitor under the toilet seat. Algae growing around the sill on the shower screen, could not see TV properly as someone had ‘cleaned’ it with what looked like a dirty rag. Dead flies all over the property. There were zero tea or coffee facilities. For £175 a night I would have expected a few tea bags and even some long life milk cartons.
