The Residence Hotel

Avoid during this period (or forever). Understaffed with the front desk person (only one for each shift) tasked with all duties: check-in, bartending, technician and so on so forth…The hotel looked to have potential but is mismanaged, all extra staff given vacation with no cover-up ensured. Bad cleaning practices from lobby to rooms. Ernesto at the desk is the best at customer service doing it all but to be honest the only positive thing about the hotel is front desk staff in general. Technical issues en masse (safe, phone, hair-dryer all not operational). Bar was closed, on vacation again! Front desk (again) can serve you a drink. Be careful not all room are air conditioned. Location is convenient only if you have a car. Although public transport is close it is time consuming and uber not reliable. Construction next door, not a problem if window closed issue if at the pool or open windows.

The only problem we had the swimming pool was not accessible While we mainly booked it for that

Rude staff. Unapologetic about the condition of the pool. (see photo). Terrible check-in experience with the receptionist picking up the phone and taking long phone calls and taking a long time while checking us in. They ignored the number one rule in hospitality, deal with the customer in front of you!

The apartment had a king and two twins + sofa bed. What they don't tell you is that the twin is in the same bedroom as the King. And that the king is so close to the slanted ceiling that my family hit their heads against it 3 times. Needs to be painted red with a pad on it.

Staff was very accommodating and interested in finding solutions ( as opposed to the usual - sorry, it’s not my job attitude). Dealing with flight delays and other problems, our arrival was after midnight. Although it was outside of the check in window, someone was waiting for us. Parking lot was full but the staff realized the late hour and made arrangements to provide a spot. After a disaster of a travel day, it was a pleasure to arrive at the hotel. Room was spacious, clean and just what we needed. Staff was pleasant in the morning at breakfast and everything work as promised - thank you Residence Hotel - fantastic experience !

V clean

Very nice. Friendly staff spoke fluent English. Spacious room by Europe standards. Very clean surprised how nice. Elevator didn’t work when we left but stairs are clean well lit and nice. The pool is outdoor pool and closed in feb but that wasn’t important. Kitchenette was cute, clean and stocked with essentials like plates silverware dish soap. Overall it was great.

It's great for airport stay one or two days. Nothing good about the food, but your only there a short time.

Not enough options to dine out close to the hotel, however a quick bus ride into Geneva solves this problem. Transports links very close which was convenient. Excellent facilities, can see the Alps which was pleasant to view. 5 stars.
