La Terrazza di Viola

The apartment was very comfortable and overlooking a town square which made the location very convenient. There is plenty of space with w Tearraces and a washing machine! Indeed the apartment has very good cooking equipment and if you don't feel like cooking thete are plenty of restaurants on the door step. Claudio the host is a most oblidging young man and was a pleasure to meet.

Liked everything, however one word of caution, appeasement is on the top floor so there are a lot of steps. in saying that like every summit, it is worth the climb!

The views from the terrace over the town square are great and the location during the day was good for exploring the town. having a washing machine available was useful. Fun looking at the Montalbano police station from above! fast response from host whenever we made contact

We stayed for 4 nights. Before arrival we were told that due to rain the day before the terrace hadn't been swept and cleaned. OK. The terrace furniture (one sofa and 2 chairs) - only one chair did not have significant rips in the seat. Contacted owner and fast response was that we could use cushions to cover the chairs, and that it could be cleaned the next day (we didn't mention cleaning but it was nicer when it was done). Next day cushions were put on the chairs and cleaning done, although we had to leave the apartment unlocked to enable it - not ideal when other people in the building. Having prepared a meal to cook in the oven, it didn't switch on. Host explained that the oven didn't work. being told in advance would have saved us cooking the wrong dish ( and an airfryer is no replacement) General cooking tools were almost non existent although loads of pots and pans Smell in bathroom of sewers very strong. The main issue however is the noise from the street at night - other people have said this, so please believe them. The bars play loud, bass-heavy music well into the morning hours, with the associated noise from people. We each lost a night's sleep and I was wearing ear plugs

The large private terrazza overlooking the square was magnificent for eating, lounging reading etc. The kitchen was convenient for all cooking.

The cost of the beautiful terrace with all the privacy and views was you have to climb four floors. It's worth it

Central location, free parking nearby, fantastic rooftop terraces.

Lack of storage space for clothes. No identification on door to street caused confusion on arrival.

The website photos showed a suite of patio furniture on the rooftop terrace. Unfortunately we could not relax there as they had been removed and we were not told about it.

this was an excellent apartment that was brilliantly located in the middle of Scicli. There were 2 large private terraces with lovely views. The host was very communicative which made the stay nice and easy.

Best spot in Scicli. Right in the middle of the piazza with amazing views. Whole block well maintained and clean. Really cute place with suntrap terrace and also back terrace as well. Comfy bed, good shower and all the basic amenities that you may need. Saturday night I would go out next time and join the fun downstairs as it's quite noisy with bars outside however still slept like a baby and other days of the week it's just fine. Some hooks on the wall for clothes would be nice and an extra mirror outside of the bathroom would be helpful. But not a big issue Host really helpful and accommodating and communicative. Great value for money and would definitely stay there again.

The beautiful outside terrace in the middle of Scicli. Easy to self cater - a couple of evenings we had take aways on the terrace.

Walking up to the 4th floor! Parking in Scicli is a nightmare, especially at the weekend and on a holiday - we were there for All Saints Day. Incredibly noisy on Saturday night with the bars pumping out music until 2 am.

Location can't get more central. The apartment itself is not big, but very well fitted with everything you need and comes with two (!) huge, private terraces which provide an amazing view and lots of sunlight at any daytime. A perfect place to start exploring Scicly and surrounding areas. Claudio, the host, was super responsive and helpful with everything (I had a minor issue which was easily resolved).

Nothing really about the apartment. Just due to the central location you need to be prepared for some noise from nearby pubs at night. Can't have it all... It's not a super remote hide-away....
