It’s not as prescribed, photos were not clear on the exact room selection Room wasn’t warm enough It wasn’t clean enough ( it had a smell ) like it wasn’t used for long time

The room has superb location. The carpark was really nice, which is located 200-300 meters from the room. The room has small cutlery, kettle and refrigerator. The bathroom was quite new. The air conditioner works fine. The train station is 15 minutes by walk. Busses to Portofino are easily reachable from the main street. Very good bakeries and restaurants nearby. A supermarket is also available at next street. You will also pay city tax of 2 Euro per night per person.

Please be aware that this is not a hotel but an entry floor apartment flat. There is no reception that you can reach all the time. However, you can contact with the lady on the phone. The housekeeping can be arranged with the lady, otherwise there is no regular housekeeping. There was no option to dry or hang your swimsuits etc. Please read the details of the room carefully otherwise you are likely to be disappointed.

Our host was so lovely! Clean and a nice mordern room. Great location. Upstairs can be a little noisy but other than that my friend and I had an enjoyable stay.

Super close to the centre of the beautiful Santa Margherita, with great links to Portofino by either ferry, bus or on foot. The room is excellent and very clean. It also feels very safe. Marzia is an amazing host with fast communication and great recommendations. I would 100% stay here again. Thank you!

This beautifully appointed ground floor apartment (one of two) in an old apartment house, is secure and well located just 5 mins from the pretty harbour, waterfront cafes and the ferry boat to Portofino. The free use of a high end hotel's secure garage just 300 m away was fantastic and so reassuring. The Host was very kind and flexible when our plans changed (through no fault of our own) and also flexed our leaving time to allow us to take a morning boat trip. It was great to have a washing machine (not that we had time to use it) when touring. We also appreciated the fridge, microwave and coffee machine.

There is no outside space or view. The huge (comfy) round bed is quite challenging to get off, if you have any mobility issues. Cause for much hilarity in our case. The non refundable tariff, because sometimes events force plans to change.

The location is fantastic - it's close to Portofino and some truly beautiful beaches. However, there were several issues that made my stay less enjoyable than I had hoped.

Firstly, the room was not as advertised in the photos. While it was still decent, it's worth noting that the actual room did not match the expectations set by the promotional images. One major problem that I encountered was the noise. The room is situated on the ground level, and throughout the night, the sound of car and scooter engines was incredibly loud - almost as if they were right next to you. In addition, the walls were extremely thin, making it easy to hear neighbors walking around. As a result, we had a difficult time getting a good night's sleep. There were also a few minor inconveniences that I feel should not occur at this price point. For example, some of the appliances did not work properly, and there was no storage in the shower for toiletries, forcing us to awkwardly squat to reach for soap.
