It seems like a villa!

We enjoyed being close to everything. It was really nice having the Stagecoach Inn Restaurant so accessible. The breakfast there was amazing. The pool was very clean and refreshing. Live music at the pool on the weekends was also a nice touch. Definitely more amenities than most boutique hotels. We would stay there again.

Really enjoyed our 2 night stay at this historic site. It was super clean, nice evening entertainment & comfortable beds. Only thing that was disappointing is no mini frig in our room (building 1 room 121) but our friends in 2 other rooms had them. requiring you to go all the way to the office building to get an ice bucket, no daytime bar/snack service at the pool during the day yet the website says seasonal service.

Pool side 7:12 am music on Sunday is a horrible idea. Too early.

gorgeous property and so laid back. I also love the staff - they are helpful, sweet, and down to earth. The style of the rooms and pool and everything is so unique!

Really, I have no complaints. It was summer so there were some wasps around but that's normal in TX

The was fine, but not luxurious. The grounds were well tended. The restaurant menu was ok, but we had expected a few more options based on the cost of the room and the fees they added. The dining tables for four are small and so are the chairs. The bed was good and pillows were fluffy. The property is hilly so you need to be able to walk up and down sloping driveways. Parking near our rooms was extremely limited and it forced us to walk those sloping paths.

Beautiful old trees. Potential to be a nice resort. Room was nicely remodeled with comfortable bed and pillows.

Loud freeway noise, no refrigerator in the room, no ice machine nearby ( had to go across the property to the office in the heat), remodeled historic restaurant and made it a modern restaurant loosing the historic charm. No phone to connect to front desk or staff service. Had to use our cellphone and call public line and wait.

Relaxing surroundings. Not a cookie cutter place

Saw 2 roaches in r room. Also TV only worked on 1 station

Road noise next to I-35 is loud. The suites are nice. Beds are comfortable.

Cool decor. I’ve been staying here over 20 years through different owners and renditions and the location and property present well. I do miss the cans of water in the rooms.

The mattresses need replaced. There is no parking directly in front of your room so be prepared for a little walk. Time to upgrade the towels.
